Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a thermal barrier coating having excellent durability, and more particularly to a ceramic layer used as a top coat of the thermal barrier coating.
In recent years, in the field of industrial gas turbines, thermal barrier coating (TBC) that can reduce the heat load on heat-resistant members without changing the shape of the blades or the cooling structure provided on the blades is essential. Technology.
In general, TBC is a MCrAlY alloy (M: Ni, Co, Fe, or an alloy thereof) having excellent oxidation resistance on a heat-resistant member such as a stationary blade or moving blade constituting a gas turbine or a wall material of a combustor. ) And a top coat layer made of low thermal conductive ceramics, for example, mainly 8% by weight yttria partially stabilized zirconia, are sequentially coated to form a two-layer structure.
TBC is required to have high heat shielding properties and high thermal cycle durability. However, it is very difficult to achieve both of these, and research and development are being actively promoted.
In recent years, increasing the thermal efficiency of thermal power generation has been studied as one of the energy saving measures. In order to improve the power generation efficiency of the power generation gas turbine, it is effective to raise the gas inlet temperature, and the temperature may be about 1500 ° C. in some cases. Depending on the type of gas turbine, it is considered that the inlet temperature of the turbine rises to a temperature exceeding 1500 ° C. In recent years, gas turbines with higher thermal efficiency have been developed due to environmental measures, and it is considered that the inlet temperature of the turbine will reach 1700 ° C, and the turbine blade surface temperature will be as high as 1200 ° C. Is expected.
Conventionally, 8 mass% yttria partially stabilized zirconia used as a TBC topcoat layer has low thermal conductivity, high thermal expansion coefficient, thermal cycle durability, and high-temperature crystal stability as ceramics. However, in the 1700 ° C class gas turbine as described above, the surface temperature of the TBC exceeds 1200 ° C, which may cause problems such as a material change (crystal change) of the thermal barrier coating, further improving durability, Stability and heat insulation are desired. It is even better if damage from the flying objects from the outside can be prevented.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and provides a thermal barrier coating having thermal barrier properties, thermal cycle durability and erosion resistance, and a turbine member and a gas turbine including the thermal barrier coating. With the goal.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a thermal barrier coating comprising a ceramic layer formed on a heat-resistant substrate, wherein the ceramic layer is stepwise from the side of the heat-resistant substrate toward the surface layer. Alternatively, a thermal barrier coating formed to continuously increase the porosity is provided. The ceramic layer is composed of two or more coatings having different porosity, and among the two or more coatings, at least the porosity of the coating disposed adjacent to the heat-resistant substrate is 10% or less, The porosity of another film disposed on the surface layer side may exceed 10% and 15% or less.
According to the present invention, since the porosity of the surface layer of the ceramic layer is high, the thermal conductivity is low. Further, since the ceramic layer has a dense structure on the heat-resistant substrate side, adhesion to the bond coat layer serving as a base is increased. As a result, a thermal barrier coating with high thermal cycle durability can be obtained.
In the above invention, it is preferable that the ceramic layer further includes an outermost layer having a porosity of 5% or less and a film thickness of 20 μm or less.
The porosity of the outermost layer is preferably 5% or less. Erosion resistance can be obtained by providing a dense film having a low porosity. Erosion means a phenomenon in which the ceramic layer is thinned by contact with flying objects from the outside. The denser the film and pores, the more difficult it is for the flying objects to bite into the ceramic layer, so the erosion resistance is improved. If there is a dense layer on the surface layer side, the heat conduction is improved, which is contrary to the function as a thermal barrier coating. Therefore, the thickness of the outermost layer is preferably 20 μm or less.
The present invention provides a turbine member including the above-described thermal barrier coating and a gas turbine including the turbine member. Since the turbine member having such a configuration has excellent heat shielding properties and durability, the use of this turbine member provides a more reliable gas turbine.
According to this invention, it can be set as the thermal-insulation coating which has durability, thermal-insulation property, and erosion resistance by using the ceramic layer which arrange | positioned the several membrane | film | coat from which porosity differs appropriately.

Hereinafter, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
In the present embodiment, a bond coat layer (metal bonding layer) 2 is formed on the heat

A 2 Zr 2 O 7 is synthesized by a powder mixing method, a coprecipitation method, an alkoxide method, or the like. In the powder mixing method, A 2 O 3 powder and ZrO 2 powder are mixed in a slurry state using a ball mill or the like, and after drying the slurry, the powder is heat-treated and A 2 Zr 2 O 7 is mixed by a solid phase reaction method. It is a method of synthesizing and pulverizing to obtain powder. In the coprecipitation method, a neutralizing agent such as ammonia is added to a salt solution of A and Zr to obtain a hydrate precipitate, and then reacted by heat treatment to obtain A 2 Zr 2 O 7 and then pulverized. This is a method for obtaining powder. The alkoxide method is a method in which water is added to an alkoxide organic solvent of A and Zr to obtain a hydrate precipitate, which is then heat-treated to react with A 2 Zr 2 O 7 and then pulverized to obtain a powder. .
The thermal barrier coating material comprising A 2 Zr 2 O 7 is prepared by, for example, granulating a slurry of A 2 Zr 2 O 7 powder, water, a dispersant, and a binder into a spherical shape using a spray dryer. Obtained by heat treatment. Further, the slurry obtained in the stage of mixing the raw materials of A 2 Zr 2 O 7 is spray-dried, formed into a spherical shape, and heat-treated to obtain powder, thereby obtaining a heat shield containing A 2 Zr 2 O 7 It can also be used as a coating material. When the thermal spraying method is used as the construction method, the particle size is classified and adjusted to a particle size suitable for thermal spraying.

At that time, the heating time was 3 minutes and the cooling time was 3 minutes (the surface temperature during cooling was set to 100 ° C. or lower). In this thermal cycle test, the number of cycles at the time when peeling occurred in the thermal barrier coating film was defined as the thermal cycle life.

(Erosion resistance)
The samples of Example 1, Example 2, and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 were evaluated for erosion resistance. A grid blast (alumina powder) having a particle size of 10 μm as defined in JIS R 6001 (corresponding to ISO 8486-1) is applied to the
Comparative Example 1 having only the
From Comparative Example 1 and Comparative Example 2, it was confirmed that only one of the
In Example 2, the erosion resistance was further improved compared to Example 1. This is considered due to the fact that a dense layer is provided on the outermost layer of the
