Description

本発明は、増粘剤の使用を抑制し、かつ、耐食塩性及び低温安定性に優れた手指用消毒剤組成物に関する。   The present invention relates to a hand sanitizer composition that suppresses the use of a thickener and is excellent in salt resistance and low-temperature stability.

簡便に手指を消毒する手段として、ゲル状の消毒剤が使用されている。ゲル状の消毒剤は通常、垂れ落ちを防止するため、さらに使用時に所定の「延び」を得ること等を目的として増粘剤が添加されている。
増粘剤としては、カルボキシビニルポリマーが広く利用されている。さらには、セルロース系高分子や、アクリル酸・メタクリル酸アルキル共重合体を使用するものも提案されている(特許文献1〜5)。
しかしながら、必要な粘性を得るために添加する増粘剤の量が多くなると、べたつきや使用後の残存感が生じたり、ヨレが生じたりするなどの問題があった。また、増粘剤としてアクリル酸・メタクリル酸アルキル共重合体を使用した場合、使用時のべたつきや残存感等を除去するために環状シリコンを添加するなどする必要があった。
また、各種の感染症予防のため手指消毒剤の使用時期は比較的低温の季節に多く、室内のみならず室外で保管使用される事があるが、現在市販されているゲル状の手指消毒剤は冬季の低温で増粘剤の一部が析出して系内が白濁し、粘度が低下するという問題もある。

即ち、本発明は、低級アルコール40〜90重量%、アクリル酸・メタクリル酸アルキル共重合体0.02〜0.1重量%、及び、ジイソプロパノールアミン0.01〜0.1重量%を含有する、手指用消毒剤組成物を提供する。

ジイソプロパノールアミンを上記の範囲で含むことにより、本発明の手指用消毒剤組成物に含まれるアクリル酸・メタクリル酸アルキル共重合体は、増粘剤としての好ましい効果を示す。

一般に、カルボキシビニルポリマーやアクリル酸・メタクリル酸アルキル共重合体などの増粘剤を使用する場合、ゲルを形成するために同時に塩基性の物質が添加される。ここで、増粘剤としてアクリル酸・メタクリル酸アルキル共重合体を使用し、これとジイソプロパノールアミンを上記の含有量で組み合わせて使用することにより、増粘剤の使用量が0.1重量%以下であっても所定のゲル状の形態を保つことが可能となる。その結果、手指用消毒剤組成物中の増粘剤の使用量を抑えて、べたつき、使用後の残存感を防止する効果が得られる。従って、ゲル状消毒剤組成物として必要な所定のべたつき・残存感防止効果を得るために、さらに環状シリコンの添加等を行う必要がない。
さらには、上記の組成を有する本発明の手指用消毒剤は、耐食塩性が優れるため手に擦り込み時に汗等の食塩の影響を受け難いのでヨレの発生もなく、また低温での増粘剤の析出も抑えられ、低温安定性に優れる。
