Abstract
【解決手段】本発明による電界放出装置は、第1基板の上部面に形成された複数のカソード電極と、第2基板の下部面に形成され、前記カソード電極に対向して配置されたアノード電極と、前記アノード電極上に交互に形成された赤色、緑色及び青色のパターンからなり、前記赤色、緑色及び青色パターンが斜線方向に配列された蛍光膜と、前記赤色、緑色及び青色パターンに対応するように前記複数のカソード電極上に形成された複数のエミッタとを含む。

Claims (10)
- 第1基板の上部面に形成された複数のカソード電極と、
第2基板の下部面に形成され、前記カソード電極に対向して配置されたアノード電極と、
前記アノード電極上に交互に形成された赤色、緑色及び青色のパターンからなり、前記赤色、緑色及び青色パターンが斜線方向に配列された蛍光膜と、
前記赤色、緑色及び青色パターンに対応するように、前記複数のカソード電極上に形成された複数のエミッタと
を含む電界放出装置。 - 前記複数のカソード電極、前記複数のエミッタ及び蛍光膜からなる単位ブロックが複数個含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出装置。
- 前記電界放出装置は、液晶表示装置のバックライトユニットであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出装置。
- 前記複数のカソード電極と前記アノード電極との間に位置し、前記複数のエミッタに対応する位置に開口部を有するゲート電極をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出装置。
- 前記第1基板と前記カソード電極との間に介在され、前記複数のカソード電極に各々連結された複数のデータ電極をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出装置。
- 前記複数のカソード電極に流れる電界放出電流を各々制御するための複数の電流制御部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出装置。
- 前記第2基板の上部に形成され、前記蛍光膜から放出される赤色光、緑色光及び青色光を混合する拡散板をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出装置。
- 前記複数のカソード電極は、前記斜線方向に配列された前記赤色、緑色及び青色パターンに各々対応するように互いに行き違いになるように配列されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出装置。
- 前記複数のカソード電極は、
前記蛍光膜に対応するように斜線方向に配列されたフィンガータイプの第1カソード電極と、
前記第1カソード電極と互いに行き違いになるように配列されたフィンガータイプの第2カソード電極と、
前記第1カソード電極と前記第2カソード電極との間に配列されたラインタイプの第3カソード電極と
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出装置。 - 前記第1カソード電極は、前記赤色パターンに対応するように配列され、前記第2カソード電極は、前記青色パターンに対応するように配列され、前記第3カソード電極は、前記緑色パターンに対応するように配列されたことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の電界放出装置。
