Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electric motor that is mounted with a printed wiring board on which a drive circuit is mounted, uses a rolling bearing, and is driven by an inverter. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the electric motor and an electric device such as an air conditioner equipped with the electric motor.
Conventionally, when an electric motor is operated using an inverter, the carrier frequency of the inverter is set high for the purpose of reducing the noise of the electric motor that is generated when the transistor is switched. If the carrier frequency is set high or the power supply voltage is high, the potential difference that exists between the inner ring and outer ring of the rolling bearing that supports the shaft increases, and the grease in the bearing causes dielectric breakdown. A large current flows. The current flowing through the rolling bearings causes corrosion called electrolytic corrosion on the rolling surfaces of the inner and outer ring raceways and the rolling elements (balls and rollers that roll between the inner and outer rings), thereby deteriorating the durability of the rolling bearings. There was a problem. In addition, there has been a problem that a large noise is generated from the electric motor due to the occurrence of electrolytic corrosion. Various electric motors that solve these problems have been proposed.
For example, in a stator of a brushless motor molded with an insulating resin, a structure in which the stator iron core is short-circuited with the bracket via the iron core connection terminal and the bracket connection terminal has been proposed (for example, see Patent Document 1).
Further, in a brushless DC motor that employs a direct PWM (pulse width modulation) method, the flange portion of the bearing holder, the stator core, the core holder, and the iron substrate are fixed together by a tap screw, so that the iron plate portion and the stator core of the iron substrate are fixed. A structure that is fixed to the ground potential has been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 2).
However, the electric motor of

FIG. 13 is a diagram for comparison, and is a diagram illustrating a path of a current flowing through the stray capacitance in the conventional

FIG. 10 shows a path of current flowing through the stray capacitance in the
Between the
Since a
During operation of the

As described above, the present embodiment reduces the current flowing through the
This is particularly effective for reducing the current flowing through the bearing when the

Moreover, the

Further, the
According to the above manufacturing process, since the
Here, the
