本発明は、硬化性樹脂を含有する最表面層を有する電子写真感光体の製造方法であって、該製造方法は、以下の工程、
(A)硬化性材料を含有する最表面層用塗料の液状媒体に不溶な物質を溶剤に溶解させて溶液を調整する工程、
(B)工程(A)で得た該溶液に多孔性粒子を浸して該物質を含む多孔性粒子を得る工程、
(C)工程(B)で得た該多孔性粒子を該液状媒体に分散させて該最表面層用塗料を調製する工程、
(D)工程(C)で得た該最表面層用塗料を塗布して塗膜を形成する工程、および
(E)工程(D)で形成した該塗膜を硬化させて該最表面層を形成する工程
を有することを特徴とする電子写真感光体の製造方法に関する。

(A)硬化性材料を含有する最表面層用塗料の液状媒体に不溶な物質を溶剤に溶解させて溶液を調整する工程、
(B)工程(A)で得た該溶液に多孔性粒子を浸して該物質を含む多孔性粒子を得る工程、
(C)工程(B)で得た該多孔性粒子を該液状媒体に分散させて該最表面層用塗料を調製する工程、
(D)工程(C)で得た該最表面層用塗料を塗布して塗膜を形成する工程、および
(E)工程(D)で形成した該塗膜を硬化させて該最表面層を形成する工程
