Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tap water pressure power generator capable of generating power at a low constructing cost and at a low running cost, as improvement of the conventional power supply with the nuclear, thermal, and hydraulic power generation as major power sources involving such problems that construction of a power station requires an enormous cost and a remote location of the station results in a large loss in the power delivery and a high power generating cost.
SOLUTION: In the tap water pressure power generator, a hydraulic turbine (2) is connected to a water pipe (1), and a power generating machine (4) is connected to the hydraulic turbine (2).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a tap water pressure generator that connects a hydro turbine and a generator and generates power using the water pressure of a water pipe.

Conventionally, there has been no power generation device that utilizes the water pressure of a water pipe.

Problems to be solved by the invention

Conventionally, the main supply sources of electricity are nuclear power generation, thermal power generation, and hydroelectric power generation. However, these power plants are all large in scale, limited in construction sites, and enormous construction costs.
Moreover, since the power plant is located far away, there are many losses due to power transmission and the power generation cost is high.
In the case of a thermal power plant, a large amount of fossil fuel is consumed and a large amount of CO 2 is emitted.
Furthermore, in the case of a nuclear power plant, the spent fuel is expensive, and its safety is not yet established.
The present invention has been made to eliminate these drawbacks.

Means to solve the problem

The water turbine (2) is connected to the water pipe (1), and the generator (4) is connected to the water turbine (2).
The present invention is a tap water pressure generator having the above-described configuration.

The invention's effect

1. It uses the water pressure of existing water pipes and does not consume tap water.
2. Power generation cost is extremely low.
3. Since it is constructed underground like a water pipe, it can be easily constructed wherever there is a water pipe.
4. Less construction costs.
5. Since it can be constructed on a regional basis, the transmission distance is short and there is little transmission loss.
6. It does not use fuel and does not emit CO 2 and is extremely safe and environmentally friendly.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

The best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described below.
The water turbine (2) is connected to the water pipe (1), and the generator (4) is connected to the water turbine (2).
As a result, the hydro turbine (2) is rotated by the water pressure of the tap water flowing in the water pipe (1), and the rotational force is transmitted to the shaft (3) to rotate the generator (4) to generate power.
Moreover, the tap water which passed the hydro turbine (2) will be utilized as normal tap water as it is.
The present invention has the above structure.

使用方法how to use

The tap water pressure power generation apparatus of the present invention does not need to monitor the daily power generation state because once it is connected to the water pipe, it automatically generates power as long as the water is used.

応用例Application examples

The tap water pressure power generator of the present invention can be widely applied from a small one for home use to a large one for regional power generation.
