Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing hook causing little snagging trouble of a hook point even by scraping the hook point against a rock, touching the point with seaweed or rolling a lure body attached with a W hook sideways at the bottom of water.
SOLUTION: The W hook includes a shape causing little snagging trouble of the hook point by positioning the hook points inside of lines connecting the maximum width points of the W hook and the maximum width points of a crown at an end of the W hook. The hook point does not dull even by scraping the hook point against rock and seaweed, and is less likely to cause snagging even if the lure attached with the W hook is rolled sideways. Sticking performance comparable to conventional W hook is maintained by directing two straight lines extending from end points of R of gaps to the hook points to be parallel to each other when the W hook is viewed from the back.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

Field of Invention

Fishing gear

According to FIG. 2, in the conventional W hook having two needle tips, the two (4) sections are parallel to the respective main shafts (6). It can be said that the shape is likely to cause the hook of the fishhook when it comes into contact with rocks or seaweed or when the simulated bait rolls over at the bottom of the water. In addition, when using multiple W hooks or triple hooks, even if one fishhook is hooked on the fish mouth, the other hook will trigger a “thread hook” that will pierce the area other than the fish mouth. In the fishing concept of re-releasing small fish and re-releasing unnecessary fish, which are likely to cause bleeding, the fish is unnecessarily damaged and the survival rate after re-releasing is reduced. This leads to a reduced result. The shape of the fishhook of this device not only reduced the rooting rate, but also fished by reducing the possibility of unnecessary piercing of other parts of the fish except when the fish caught the fishhook in its mouth. The survival rate of fish that have been re-released later can also be improved.

Means for solving the problem

1) By installing the tip (3) on the inner side of the straight line drawn from the maximum width (1) of the fishhook to the maximum width contact point on the outer periphery of the crown (2) according to FIG. It is shaped so that it will not cause rooting even if it rolls over at the bottom of the water or comes into contact with rocks or seaweed. However, in manufacturing the shape, the method of simply inserting the fins and the chins into the two fishhooks inside each other, the straight parts (5) viewed from the rear are not parallel to each other, and the parts (4) are inside each other. It will turn in the direction. This hinders hooking when a fish is caught.
Therefore, the bottom of the fishing hook to which the fins and the fins are added is formed by expanding (4) until (5) becomes parallel when viewed from the rear.

The invention's effect

The conventional W hook shape is as shown in FIG. 2, and the straight portion of (10) is wider than the width of (8), and is parallel to the respective main shafts, thus causing rooting. The probability and the establishment of a “thread hook” where the fishhook is hung on a part other than the mouth are also increased.
“Small fish are re-released even if they are caught”, which is becoming mainstream, or “To release all fish again, do not let the needle stick to anything other than the mouth as much as possible and re-release without scratching. In the catch-and-release concept and fishing method of “to do”, by using the fishhook of the present invention, it can be caught only when the fish is caught in the mouth, and bleeding due to threading can be reduced. The effect of improving the survival rate of re-released fish can be expected.
Moreover, when the W hook of this invention is attached to the pseudo bait, the loss rate due to the root of the pseudo bait body can be reduced, which is economical and has a positive effect on the natural environment.

As a method of forming the fishhook, a conventional method of forming with a mold can be applied as it is, and there is no problem in formation. However, as in claim 2, rather than as a fishhook having only two needlepoints as a single body, a plurality of fishhooks are welded between the two fishhooks so as to hold the pseudo bait such as carp and bird bandage in FIG. Claims are also made for a hollow type fishhook.
