Abstract
【解決手段】本発明による立体映像表示装置は、映像を表示する表示パネルと、前記表示パネル上に位置して、透明セルまたは不透明セルになるように選択的に駆動される複数の液晶セルを含むバリアと、前記表示パネルと前記バリアとの間に位置する偏光板と、前記偏光板と前記表示パネルとの間に位置する位相遅延板とを含む。

Claims (9)
- 映像を表示する表示パネルと、
前記表示パネル上に位置して、透明セルまたは不透明セルになるように選択的に駆動される複数の液晶セルを含むバリアと、
前記表示パネルと前記バリアとの間に位置する偏光板と、
前記偏光板と前記表示パネルとの間に位置する位相遅延板とを含むことを特徴とする、立体映像表示装置。 - 前記偏光板は前記バリアに付着され、
前記位相遅延板は前記偏光板に付着されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の立体映像表示装置。 - 前記位相遅延板と前記表示パネルとの間には空気層が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の立体映像表示装置。
- 前記偏光板を通過して直線偏光された光は、前記位相遅延板を通過すると円偏光に変わることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の立体映像表示装置。
- 前記位相遅延板は1/4波長板であり、
前記位相遅延板の光軸と前記偏光板の偏光軸との間の交角は45度であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の立体映像表示装置。 - 前記バリアを間において前記偏光板と対向する外部偏光板をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の立体映像表示装置。
- 前記表示パネルは、
第1表示基板と、
前記第1表示基板と対向する第2表示基板と、
前記第1表示基板と前記第2表示基板との間に位置して、前記映像を表示する有機発光素子とを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の立体映像表示装置。 - 前記バリアは、
第1バリア基板と、
前記第1バリア基板と対向する第2バリア基板と、
前記第1バリア基板と前記第2バリア基板との間に位置して、前記複数の液晶セルを形成する液晶層とを含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の立体映像表示装置。 - 前記バリアを駆動するバリア駆動部と、
前記表示パネルを駆動する表示パネル駆動部と、
前記バリア駆動部及び前記表示パネル駆動部を制御する制御部とをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の立体映像表示装置。
