有機系バインダとして、特に望ましくは、水を除いた固形分表示でデンプン0.02〜3.0wt%と水溶性セルロース系樹脂0.02〜3.0wt%を用いる。このうち水溶性セルロース系樹脂については、前述のように可塑性の付与、密着性を向上する作用を果たすが、デンプンは、銀粉末組成物を乾燥した時の乾燥強度を増大させる。しかし、有機系バインダとしてデンプンのみを用いると、造形時に生地割れが発生し易くなる。そこで水溶性セルロース系樹脂を併用することにより、これらの問題を解消できる。デンプンは、前記の通り粘土組成物中の水を除いた固形分表示で0.02〜3.0wt%を含有するのであるが、0.02wt%より少ないと、乾燥時の強度不足をまねき易くなる。また、3wt%を越えると、造形時、生地割れが発生し易くなる。また、収縮率も増大する。一方、水溶性セルロース系樹脂も前記の通り、水を除いた固形分表示で0.02〜3.0wt%を含有するのであり、0.02wt%より少ないと、可塑性を付与する効果が充分に発揮されない。3wt%を越えると、収縮率が増大する。このような水溶性セルロース系樹脂としては、メチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース等が用いられ、水に溶解して用いる。
上記デンプンや水溶性セルロース系樹脂から構成される有機系バインダの量としては、デンプンと水溶性セルロース系樹脂の合計量が0.1〜4wt%の範囲内であることが望ましい。有機系バインダの量が0.1より少ないと、形状保持が難しい。また、造形、乾燥後の強度が弱くなるといった不都合がある。有機系バインダの量が4wt%を越えると、収縮立が大きくなり、ひび割れが生じやすくなる。したがって、有機系バインダの量は0.1〜4wt%が適当である。
水は必要量加えるものとし、少なすぎると硬くなって造形難く、多すぎると形状が保てなくなる。この銀粉含有組成物は、水の含有量により、粘土状でもペースト状でもスラリー状にも調製できる。
焼結促進剤としてBi、Se、Sb、In、Sn、Zn粉末又はそれらの合金粉末を加えても良い。
さらに、密着性向上剤として炭酸鉛、炭酸リチウム、酸化亜鉛、リン酸、炭酸ナトリウム、酸化バナジウム、珪酸ナトリウム、リン酸塩等から選ばれる金属化合物粉末又はガラス粉末を加えても良い。
また、可塑性を改善する目的で、フェニルプロパンを骨格とする構成単位体が縮合してなる網状高分子、グリセリン、ジグリセリン、イソプレングリコール、1・3ブチレングリコール、流動パラフィン、アルコール類、油脂、フタル酸、フタル酸−n−ジオクチル、フタル酸−n−ジブチル、ポリビニルアルコールを加え、必要に応じて界面活性剤、表面活性剤、粘着防止剤を加えても良い。

図1(e)に示す貴金属装飾品8Gは、本発明の一実施例を示すものである。
図1(a),(b)に示すように、図示しない不燃布上に、前記銀ペーストシリンジ射出用組成物をシリンジを用いて図示するような網状造形体31中に外部に連通する空間部32を造形して乾燥した。続いて図1(c),(d)に示すように、前記銀ペースト状組成物をシリンジを用いて2〜3層重ねて、透かし模様を造形し、前記空間部内壁が凹凸形状を有する網状造形体31とする。この網状造形体31を乾燥し、電気炉にて800℃で10分焼成した。焼成後、バレル又はステンレスブラシ、磨きヘラで仕上げた。
耐火ボードの上に不燃布を置き、その上に焼成体を置き、空間部32の底部に不燃布が位置するようにして空間部32の下部を塞ぎ、上記空間部内側壁に接して空間部32に七宝用釉薬を塗布(充填)して電気炉にて800℃前後で七宝琺瑯層33を焼成した。なお、不燃布は、七宝琺瑯層33の焼成の後に取り除いた。そして、これらの操作を数回繰り返して綺麗に空間部32に七宝琺瑯層33が焼成したら完成とした。なお、全ての空間部32に七宝琺瑯層を焼成するのではなく、幾つかの空間部32はそのままデザインとして残すものとした。
得られた貴金属装飾品8Gは、数種類の色の七宝琺瑯層33が形成され、それぞれの七宝琺瑯層33の側方を銀焼成体が囲んだもので、ステンドグラス風の透かし模様の銀装飾品であった。
