Description
L’=L+1.7a
であり、L’は、外方端部がフランジと仮定した場合のネック(204)の実効長さであり、「a」は開口部(206)の変形である。開口部のフランジでない外方端部を有する場合、「追加される長さ」は1.5aとなる。流体の音速cは、式2に示されるように、流体の密度ρや圧縮度βに関連する。
掘削泥のような流体の音速は、その構成、温度、および圧力の関数であるため、少なくとも幾つかのダウンホール流体中で音速を測定するために重要な条件は、試料となる流体が部分的、即ち所定の位置から得られ、そこ位置の条件に晒されたままであることである。しかしながら、所定の配置で複数の測定をするために、共鳴機が使用できることが望まれる。これらの条件は、基本的なヘルムホルツ共鳴機の形状の使いやすさを制限する。なぜならば、部分的な液体を、繰り返し、信頼できるように、キャビティ(202)から排出し再充填することは困難だからである。
Claims (25)
- 地下層の分析を容易にする装置であって、
ヘルムホルツキャビティを通って流体を流す少なくとも2つの開口部を有する、所定の体積と形状のヘルムホルツキャビティを形成する少なくとも1つの壁と、
ヘルムホルツキャビティ中の流体を通って音響信号を伝達する音源と、
ヘルムホルツキャビティ中の流体を通って伝達された音響信号を受信する音響受信機と、を含む装置。 - 音響信号が10kHzより低い周波数を有する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 更に、音響受信機からの音響信号に対応して、流体の少なくとも1つの特徴を計算し、メモリ内に蓄積する制御ユニットを含む請求項1に記載の装置。
- 特徴が音速である請求項3に記載の装置。
- 特徴が流体粘度である請求項3に記載の装置。
- 特徴が気泡の存在である請求項3に記載の装置。
- 流体が層流体である請求項1に記載の装置。
- 流体が掘削孔の泥である請求項1に記載の装置。
- 更に、ヘルムホルツキャビティを通って流体を流すためのポンプを含む請求項1に記載の装置。
