Description
本発明は、一般にナット板締結具アセンブリに関し、特に複合材料ワークピースと共に使用されるために構成されたリベット無しナット板締結具アセンブリに関する。
本発明の実施形態の1つの目的は、複合材料ワークピースの開口中に、ワークピースの層間剥離を起こすおそれなく、設置可能なリベット無しナット板アセンブリを提供するにある。
この発明は異なる実施形態を受け入れ可能であるが、特定の実施形態が図面に示され、ここで詳細に説明される。本開示は、発明の原理の例示として考えられるべきものであって、発明をここに図示されたものに限定することを意図されたものではない、と理解されるべきである。

Claims (20)
- 複合材料ワークピース(110)の開口(112)中に、このワークピース(110)を層間剥離させることなしに設置するために構成されたリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)であって、前記設置は、アセンブリ(20)を通してステム(26)を引くことによってもたらされるもので、前記リベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)は、ナット(22)と、保持ブラケット(24)と、この保持ブラケット(24)に係合すると共にナット(22)を保持ブラケット(24)上に固定する固定具(28)と、ワークピース(110)及び保持ブラケット(24)に係合するスリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)とを備え、スリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)は、高強度の延性材料からなることを特徴とするリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- スリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)は、チタン・コロンビウム合金、モネル、チタン合金、ニッケル合金、トーロン及びパーマックスの少なくとも1つからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- スリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)は、45Cb−55Tiチタン・コロンビウム合金で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- スリーブ部材(25)の外面(200)又は内面(201)は、2つの面取り部(202,204)を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- 2つの面取り部(202,204)は、スリーブ部材(25)の上面(206)の第1面取り部(202)と、スリーブ部材(25)の底面(208)の第2面取り部(204)とを備え、上面の面取り部(202)は、固定具(28)のベース(56)から突出したローブ(88)の上部傾斜面(89)をスリーブ部材(25)が収容できるように構成されており、また底面の面取り部(204)は、スリーブ部材(25)の内面(302)に設けられたリップ(300)を収容するように機能するように構成されており、スリーブ部材(25)上の2つの面取り部(202,204)は、ローブ(88)の傾斜面(89)及びリップ(300)が、複合構造ワークピース(110)内ではなく、スリーブ部材(25)内で拡張できるような空間を有するようにすることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- スリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)の外面(200)は、滑らかであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- スリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)の外面(200)は、刻印された幾何学模様を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- スリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)の外面(200)は、その上に非金属被覆を有し、これにより複合構造ワークピース(110)とスリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)との間に、増加された摩擦を与えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- スリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)の外面(200)は、その上にエポキシ樹脂を有し、これによりスリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)と複合ワークピース構造(110)との間に、結合を生じさせることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- スリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)は、ワークピース(110)の厚さ(209)と等しい長さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- スリーブ部材(25,25a,25b,25c)は、保持ブラケット(24)上のローブ(88)に嵌合することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- ナット(22)は、ベース部分(30)と、このベース部分(30)から上向きに延びた円筒部分(32)とを備え、ネジ付き開口(36)がベース部分(30)及び円筒部分(32)を貫通して設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- ベース部分(30)は、端部凹部(38,40)と、この端部凹部(38,40)の対向する側部に位置して軸方向に突出する端部(42,44,46,48)とを有することを特徴とする請求項12に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- 保持ブラケット(24)は、概ねY字型であり、そして管状部分(50)と、この管状部分(50)から外向きに延びたブラケット部分(52)とを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- 保持ブラケット(24)のブラケット部分(52)は、ベース部分(56)と、対向して直立した側壁(58,60)とを備え、ベース部分(56)は、このベース部分(56)から上向きに突出した一対の突起(62,64)と、ブラケット部分(52)の側壁(58,60)を通って延びるスロット(70,72)とを備えることを特徴とする請求項14に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- 管状部分(50)は、ブラケット部分(52)のベース部分(56)からブラケット部分(52)の側壁(58,60)及び突起(62,64)とは逆方向に延びることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- 管状部分(50)は、管状部分(50)の内壁(76)を規定する開口(74)を有し、また管状部分(50)は、外壁(78)を有し、管状部分(50)の第1端部(54)から、内壁(76)は内向きに湾曲して肩部(80)を与え、この肩部(80)から管状部分(50)の第2端部(82)まで、内壁(76)はテーパ状であり、内壁(76)の直径が次第に減少されるようにすることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- 内壁(76)は、第2端部(82)に接近して設けられたリップ(84)を持ち、これが内壁(76)の直径を更に減少させるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項17に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- 管状部分(50)の外壁(78)は、ブラケット部分(52)の下面(86)から管状部分(50)の第2端部(82)まで延び、リブ(88)は、管状部分(50)の外壁(78)から外向きに延び、そして各リブ(88)は、上部傾斜面(89)を有することを特徴とする請求項18に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
- 固定具(28)は、1つの形に曲げられた矩形ワイヤによって形成されたバネを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリベット無しナット板アセンブリ(20)。
