Description

The present invention relates to the manufacture of a chewing toy mainly used by children and the chewing toy manufactured by the method.

For example, a chewing toy is known as a toy used with the development of a child's teeth.
This chewing toy is also called tooth firming, and copes with a child's irritability caused by tooth growth, and promotes tooth development by giving light stimulation to gums and the like.

By the way, such a chewing toy is required not to get tired of the child used besides safety. For this reason, an article that produces sound may be attached to a member that is held and operated.

FIG. 8 shows an example of such a biting toy.
This biting toy 2 is composed of an operation member 4 that a child holds and operates, a biting member 6 that functions as a tooth firmer when a part of the outer periphery is put in the mouth, and the same axis for generating sound. It comprises two endless ring-shaped members 8 and 8 that are movably mounted on the line, and the operation member 4, the biting member 6, the ring-shaped member 8 and the like are made of resin.

In such a chewing toy 2, when mounting the endless ring-shaped member 8 that produces sound around the operation member 4, a discontinuous portion 10 is formed in advance on the operation member 4, and the discontinuous portion 10. The biting member 6 and the two ring-shaped members 8, 8 are inserted through the ring of the operation member 4 through the ring, and the cylindrical connection tool 12 is attached, from the connection tool 12 toward the operation member 4. The screws 14 and 14 are inserted into one piece to be assembled.

However, in the bite toy 2 assembled integrally in this way, many manual operations are required until completion, and if the screw 14 is loosened, there is a danger to the child. I can't wipe out the anxiety of being brought. Furthermore, there is a possibility that water may enter the inside through the hole through which the screw 14 is inserted.

On the other hand, as another method for manufacturing the bite toy 2, first, a part of the outer periphery of the ring-shaped member 8 is formed to be missing, and the ring-shaped member is attached to the outside of the operation member 4 through the missing part. The missing portion of 8 is also closed by ultrasonic welding or the like.

However, when the missing portion of the ring-shaped member 8 is closed by ultrasonic welding, there is a risk that burrs during welding may remain around the missing portion. For this reason, it cannot be shipped as a children's toy without sufficient inspection. Although there is a method of fixing by using an adhesive instead of the screw 14, the use of the adhesive is not suitable considering that the toy enters the child's mouth.

In view of such a situation, the present invention can reduce the number of work man-hours with a bite toy inserted with an endless ring-shaped member for generating sound to an endless operation member that a child or the like holds and operates. A method for manufacturing a chewing toy that can be easily manufactured, does not generate burrs on the outer periphery of each assembly part, and has no risk of water intrusion from anywhere, and a chewing toy manufactured by the method The purpose is to provide.

And a biting member injection molding step of assembling the biting member integrally with the biting member.

According to the present invention as described above, an endless ring-shaped member can be attached to the biting portion without using a screw, an adhesive, or the like.
In addition, the biting toy according to the present invention is
A resin-made bite member, a resin-made endless operation member partially embedded and integrated in the bite member, and a central through-hole so as to surround the outside of the operation member An endless ring-shaped member arranged movably with respect to the extending direction of the operation member,
A slit is formed in the pre-shaped endless operating member, and an endless ring-shaped member pre-formed through the slit is attached to the endless operating member,
Further, an assembly in which the endless ring-shaped member is attached to the operation member via the slit is disposed in a mold for forming the biting member, and the biting member is molded in this state. The biting member, the operation member, and the ring-shaped member are integrally assembled by injecting a resin for the purpose into the mold.

According to such a chewing toy manufacturing method and a chewing toy manufactured by the manufacturing method, the work man-hour can be reduced, and the chewing member inserted into the endless operation member, for generating sound Since the endless ring-shaped member or the like does not generate burrs and water does not enter, it is suitable as a toy for children.

Furthermore, since a metal screw or the like is not used, in addition to being safe, it is preferable for recycling.

According to the chewing toy manufacturing method and the chewing toy manufactured by the manufacturing method according to the present invention, the gap formed in the endless operating member at the time of injection molding by the mold is buried, and the operating member is eliminated. And the ring-shaped member and the biting member can be assembled together. Therefore, the number of work steps can be reduced, and safety is improved because no burrs are generated in the manufactured product. Moreover, water does not enter inside. Therefore, the detergency is good. Furthermore, since a metal screw or the like is unnecessary, it is effective for recycling.

FIG. 1 shows components of a chewing toy manufactured by a manufacturing method according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the chewing toy manufactured by an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 1, the bite toy 20 has an endless shape in which a disc-like biting member 22 formed by slightly bulging both surfaces and a rod-like operation portion 24 a are passed to a disc-like base end 30. The operation member 24 and two endless ring-shaped members 26, 26 are formed, and the ring-shaped member 26 has a central through hole 26a. These are all made of resin.

In addition, the endless shape in this specification means a state in which there is no missing portion in the portion constituting the hole. That is, it means a closed state where the outer periphery surrounding the hole is not broken like a round rubber ring. As long as the outer periphery of the hole is closed, the entire shape may be any shape.

The biting member 22 has a through hole 32 a formed at the center of the main body base 32, and four protrusions 28 formed on the outer periphery of the main body base 32. The size of the through hole 32 a of the biting member 22 corresponds to the diameter of the button convex portion 31 of the operation member 24. The four protrusions 28 of the biting member 22 constitute a biting portion when the child holds it in the mouth, and various protrusion patterns are formed on the surface. Moreover, it is preferable that these protrusions 28 are formed of an elastomer so as to have appropriate flexibility and elasticity when chewed. In addition, since the difference in hardness is provided by the projection pattern of the four protrusions 28, it is effective as a tooth compaction that contributes to tooth growth.

The two ring-shaped members 26 are inserted into the operation member 24 through the central through hole 26a by a method described later. The ring-shaped member 26 mounted inside the rod-like operation portion 24a of the operation member 24 can freely move from one end portion of the operation portion 24a to the other end portion and collides with each other. Sometimes a sound is generated. It is preferable that two or more of these ring-shaped members 26 are provided, and usually the hardness is higher than that of the biting member 22.
The operation member 24 according to the present embodiment is molded by injection molding as an endless shape without a cut at first. If it is injected endlessly as shown in FIG. 1, it is convenient in terms of mold forming.

A two-color molding method is used to integrate the biting member 22 into the endlessly shaped operation member 24 as described above. That is, the endless operation member 24 is formed in advance. Then, the disc-shaped base end portion 30 of the operation member 24 is set in a mold prepared for forming the biting member 22. Next, a resin for molding the biting member 22 is injected into the mold at a high temperature and high pressure, and if the mold is opened after waiting for solidification, the discoid base end 30 of the operation member 24 is solidified as the biting member 22. It can be integrated inside.

Further, in order to assemble the endless ring-shaped member 26 to the endless operating member 24 at the stage before such two-color molding, a slit 32 is formed in a part of the operating member 24 as shown in FIG. The ring-shaped member 26 may be assembled through the slit 32.

That is, in the present invention, after the endless operation member 24 is first formed, a part of the outer periphery where the biting member is formed by subsequent operation is lost. Then, the operating member 24 and the ring-shaped member 26, which are partially missing from the outer periphery, are assembled, and then when the biting member 22 is ejected by the two-color molding method, the biting member 22 and the operating member 24 is integrated, and the chewing toy of FIG. 2 is obtained.
The manufacturing process is as shown in FIG.

That is, the manufacturing method of the bite toy 20 according to the present invention includes a ring-shaped member forming step A for forming an endless ring-shaped member 26, an operation member forming step B for forming an endless operating member 24, and an operating member. In the endless operation member 24 obtained in the molding step B, the slit forming step C for forming the slit 32 shown in FIG. 4 and the slit-containing molded body 24 ′ obtained in the slit forming step C are shown in FIG. As shown, the ring-shaped member mounting step D for mounting the ring-shaped members 26, 26 and the assembly 34 obtained in the ring-shaped member mounting step D are set in the mold of the biting member 22, And a biting member injection molding step E for integrating the slit-containing molded body 24 ′ with the biting member 22 by the biting member molding resin injected into the mold.

In the ring-shaped member forming step A, two ring-shaped members 26 shown in FIG. 1 are prepared by injection molding or the like.
In the operation member molding step B, the operation member 24 shown in FIG. 1 is manufactured by injection molding. In the operation member forming step B, one end portion 25a of the rod-like operation portion 24a is made thinner than the other end portion 25b so that the subsequent cutting operation is facilitated.

In the slit forming step C, as shown in FIG. 4, a slit 32 is formed at one end 25 a of the endless operating member 24 obtained in the operating member forming step B. That is, one end 25a is cut. Thereby, a discontinuous part is formed in the rod-shaped operation part 24a.

In the ring-shaped member mounting step D, as shown in FIG. 5, the two ring-shaped members 26, 26 are mounted through the slits 32 of the slit-containing molded body 24 '. Thus, an assembly 34 including the slit-shaped molded body 24 ′ and the two ring-shaped members 26 is configured.

Then, the assembly 34 configured as shown in FIG. 5 is set in a mold for injection molding the biting member 22, and two-color molding is performed from this state.
Then, when the molten resin for forming the biting member 22 is injected into the mold, the molten resin becomes a discontinuous portion of the one end portion 25a of the slit-shaped molded body 24 ′ that is cut. Since it covers the periphery and is solidified in the mold in that state, the endless bite toy 20 as shown in FIG. 2 is manufactured when it is removed from the mold. With such a manufacturing method of the biting toy 20, the number of work steps can be reduced and the manufacturing can be easily performed.

Further, in the bite toy 20 manufactured by the manufacturing method of the present invention, since there is no welded portion around the ring-shaped member 26, no burrs or the like are generated. Moreover, even if the operation part 24 a is pulled after the manufacture, the operation member 24 is not detached from the biting member 22. In addition, since no screw or the like is used, the safety is improved and a portion where water enters during washing is not generated. Therefore, it can be washed whenever necessary. Furthermore, since no adhesive is used, it is safe for children to put in their mouths. There is no risk of injury.

In addition, since the two ring-shaped members 26 and 26 freely move around the rod-shaped operation unit 24a, they can collide with each other and generate sound when the child swings their hands. This can distract the child.

As mentioned above, although one Example of this invention was described, this invention is not limited to the said Example at all. For example, in the above embodiment, the biting member 22 is a single member formed in a substantially disk shape, but as shown in FIG. 6, two biting members 40 and 42 are prepared and face each other. It can also be installed in the form. The biting members 40 and 42 are formed by radially forming three or five protrusions 28 serving as biting portions.

Even when such biting members 40 and 42 are employed, the end 46a is formed in advance by reducing the diameter of the part 46a in advance, and the part 46a is cut later. If a slit is formed here, the two ring-shaped members 26 and 26 can be mounted in the same manner as in the above embodiment.

After that, when an assembly in which the ring-shaped members 26 and 26 are mounted is mounted in a mold for injection molding the two biting members 40 and 42, and integration is performed with molten resin in the mold, FIG. 7 shows. The bite toy 50 can be manufactured.

Thus, in the present invention, the overall shape of the bite toy is not limited to the above embodiment.
Further, the resin such as the ring-shaped member, the biting member, and the operation member is not limited at all.
