The present invention relates to a rain gutter component having a grid pattern on its surface.

As means for applying a checkerboard pattern to a molded product, a method of coating the surface thereof (for example, see Patent Documents 1 to 3) is known.

特公平07−032894号公報Japanese Patent Publication No. 07-032894 特開平10−263468号公報Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-263468 特開2008−168191号公報JP 2008-168191 A

An object of the present invention is to provide a rain gutter component having a grid pattern on the surface.

The present invention is a rain gutter component in which a surface of a rain gutter component obtained by injection molding is coated with a grid pattern.

That is, the present invention has an opening for fitting one end of the eaves ridge at at least one end, and a grid pattern along the longitudinal direction of the fitted eave ridge on at least one of the outer peripheral surfaces thereof. It has rain gutter parts. The mesh pattern is preferably provided on the outer peripheral surface other than the surface facing the wall surface of the house when the gutter part is attached to the house.

According to the present invention, a rain gutter component having a grid pattern on the surface is obtained.

The rain gutter part of the present invention can be obtained by painting a gutter pattern on the surface of the gutter part obtained by injection molding.

A known paint can be used as the paint used for painting. Examples of the paint include acrylic resin paint, acrylic silicon resin paint, urethane resin paint, acrylic urethane resin paint, and fluorine resin paint. Among these, it is preferable to use an acrylic silicon resin coating because a coating film having improved weather resistance and abrasion resistance can be obtained.

The paint can be colored using a known colorant such as an organic pigment or an inorganic pigment.

Examples of organic pigments include watching red and phthalocyanine blue.

Examples of inorganic pigments include petals and carbon black.

Among these colorants, it is preferable to use an inorganic pigment because a coating film with improved weather resistance can be obtained.

The blending amount of the colorant is preferably in the range of 1 to 10 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the paint. When the blending amount of the colorant is less than 1 part by mass, the grid pattern on the surface of the rain gutter component may become thin. Moreover, when the compounding quantity of a coloring agent exceeds 10 mass parts, the contrast of a checkered pattern will become high and the checkered pattern of a natural texture may not be obtained.

An ultraviolet absorber can also be mix | blended with a coating material as needed.

Examples of the ultraviolet absorber include a benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber and a hydroxyphenyltriazine ultraviolet absorber.

It is preferable that the compounding quantity of a ultraviolet absorber shall be the range of 0.5-4 mass parts with respect to 100 mass parts of coating materials. When the blending amount of the ultraviolet absorber is less than 0.5 parts by mass, the effect of blending the ultraviolet absorber may not be obtained. Moreover, even if it mix | blends the compounding quantity of a ultraviolet absorber exceeding 4 mass parts, the effect may not improve and manufacturing cost may become high.

The lightness of the Munsell value of the paint is preferably adjusted so that the difference from the lightness of the Munsell value of the rain gutter part to be painted is 2 or more. If the Munsell value brightness difference is less than 2, the grid pattern may become unclear. The lightness of the Munsell value may be adjusted by adjusting the color of the colorant to be blended in the paint and the blending amount thereof.

A rain gutter part for painting a checkerboard pattern can be manufactured by injection molding.
Known materials can be used for the rain gutter parts, for example, styrene resin, acrylic resin, vinyl chloride resin and the like.
Examples of the rain gutter parts include a stop material for closing the ends of the eaves, a connecting material for connecting the ends of the eaves, and a water collector for connecting the eaves and the standing eaves.

To paint rain gutter parts, you can do as follows.
(1) Remove oil adhering to the surface of the pre-treated rain gutter components. In order to remove oil or the like, it may be wiped with a cloth or the like using alcohol or thinner.
(2) Base coating Apply the base color on the surface of rain gutter parts by hand coating or spray coating. The base coating is preferably in the range of 10 to 40 mm in thickness. This base coating is not essential, and can be omitted when the rain gutter part itself is colored.
(3) Painting of the rain gutter pattern Using a paint whose brightness of the Munsell value is 2 or more different from the lightness of the Munsell value of the rain gutter part, paint a 20 to 80% area of the rain gutter part with a brush.
The brush which draws a checkerboard pattern can use the brush used for general painting. The tip shape of the brush may be an uneven shape like a saw blade, or a taper may be provided to provide a portion where no paint is attached to the gutter part. Thereby, when painting with a brush, many grid patterns can be painted at once.
If the painted area of rain gutter parts is less than 20% of the whole or exceeds 80%, a natural textured pattern may not be obtained.
(4) Rain gutter parts coated with a protective checkered layer pattern may be coated with 10-30 um of semi-transparent paint by spray coating to form a protective layer coating. Good.
By the protective layer coating film, the contrast between the painted part of the square pattern and the part where the rain gutter part is not coated is relaxed, and a square pattern having a more natural texture is obtained. Furthermore, the effect of improving the weather resistance of rain gutter parts can also be obtained.
The translucent paint refers to a paint having a total light transmittance of 5 to 50% or more at 10 to 30 um.
Examples of the translucent paint include acrylic paint, acrylic silicon paint, and fluorine paint. If the protective layer coating is too thick or if a paint having a low total light transmittance is used, the grid pattern may be erased. Moreover, when a coating film is thin, coating film performance cannot be expressed.
(5) The rain gutter parts after dry painting are dried to fix all the coating films. Drying may be natural drying, but drying at a temperature of 50 to 70 ° C. for 20 minutes or more is preferable because production efficiency is improved.

The coating material forming the protective layer coating film can be colored using a known colorant such as an organic pigment or an inorganic pigment. Examples of organic pigments include watching red and phthalocyanine blue. Examples of inorganic pigments include petals and carbon black.
Among these colorants, it is preferable to use an inorganic pigment because a coating film with improved weather resistance can be obtained.

The blending amount of these colorants is preferably in the range of 1 to 20 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the paint. When the blending amount of the colorant is less than 1 part by mass, the grid pattern on the surface of the rain gutter component may pass through as it is and a natural texture grid pattern may not be obtained. Moreover, when the compounding quantity of a coloring agent exceeds 20 mass parts, a check pattern may become thin.

Thus, the rain gutter component of the present invention is obtained by coating the surface of a known gutter component with a paint having a Munsell value lightness difference of 2 or more so as to form a checkerboard pattern with a brush. Further, by laminating a protective layer coating film having a total light transmittance of 5 to 50%, the difference in brightness of the cell pattern coating is alleviated and a natural cell pattern can be obtained. Moreover, the grid pattern can be maintained over a long period of time by laminating the protective layer coating film.
