前後一対の針床を有し、前後の針床間で目移しとラッキングが可能な横編機を用いた2x1リブ組織の内増やしまたは内減らしの編成方法であって、前後針床の各3針の計6針からなる針群のうち、2x1リブ組織の基本パターンを構成する編目A,B,C,Dを前針床の第1針に編目Aと第3針に編目D、後針床の第1針に編目Bと第2針に編目Cを配置し、前針床の第2針と後針床の第3針を空針とした時に、この基本パターンを針床上の所定区間の針に対して繰り返し配置して、その区間の任意の編目位置を定めて内増やしまたは内減らしの境界とし、境界の左右どちらかに以下のステップを含むことを特徴とする2x1リブ組織の内増やしまたは内減らしの編成方法;
