Description

The present invention relates to an extrapolation protector for a wire harness used for protecting or positioning a wire harness for an automobile.

Conventionally, a protector for protecting an automobile wire harness is known. Such a protector has a cylindrical shape as a whole, is externally attached to the wire harness, and is used for the purpose of protecting or positioning the wire harness at an insertion site or a fixed site with respect to another member such as a vehicle body. .

By the way, when attaching this protector to the wire harness, it is very troublesome to extrapolate from the end of the wire harness and move it to the target position. In particular, in order to position the wire harness to the other member via the protector, it is necessary to attach the protector in a tightened state to the outer surface of the wire harness, but when the tightening force of the protector on the wire harness is increased, Movement of the protector on the wire harness becomes more difficult.

In order to cope with such a problem, Patent Document 1 (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 64-45420) proposes a protector including a pair of semi-cylindrical divided bodies. Such a protector having a divided structure can be easily mounted by combining a pair of disassembled bodies from both sides sandwiching the wire harness at the mounting position on the wire harness.

However, in the protector described in Patent Document 1, a locking projection and a locking hole for connecting and fixing the divided bodies to each other are formed so as to protrude on the outer peripheral surface of each divided body. For this reason, it is extremely difficult to attach a protector in the insertion hole through which the wire harness is inserted or to attach a fastener such as a band to the outer peripheral surface of the protector, and the place where the protector can be attached is limited. There was a problem.

In addition, although it is possible to adhere | attach a pair of division body on a mutual abutting surface, an operation | work is very troublesome and is not realistic.

Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 64-45420

Here, the present invention has been made in the background of the circumstances as described above, and the problem to be solved is to have a pair of divided structures that can be directly attached to the target position on the wire harness. It is another object of the present invention to provide an extrapolation protector for a wire harness having a novel structure capable of realizing a smooth cylindrical outer peripheral surface free from protrusions while sufficiently securing the mutual fixing force of the divided bodies.

Hereinafter, the aspect of this invention made | formed in order to solve such a subject is described. In addition, the component employ | adopted in each aspect as described below is employable by arbitrary combinations as much as possible.

In the extrapolation protector for a cylindrical wire harness configured by combining a pair of semi-cylindrical divided bodies, the inner circumferential side of the circumferential end face is provided at one circumferential end of each divided body. And a thin extension portion extending outward in the circumferential direction from one end edge portion on the outer peripheral side is formed, while the other end portion in the circumferential direction of each divided body is an extension portion in the circumferential end surface Are formed on the same inner peripheral side or outer peripheral end edge portion, and a concave groove portion is formed extending inward in the circumferential direction, and by combining these pair of divided bodies, the extending portions of the respective divided bodies are formed. Concavity and convexity locking that is accommodated in the concave groove portion of the other divided body and that is mutually locked at the overlapping portion in the radial direction between each extending portion and the bottom wall of each concave groove portion It is characterized in that a structure is provided.

In such an extrapolation protector for a wire harness constructed according to the present invention, each divided body is provided with an extending portion and a recessed groove portion extending from the circumferential end surface, and the extending portion is accommodated in the recessed groove portion. In addition, the concave and convex locking structure provided in the overlapping portion in the radial direction of each extending portion and the bottom wall of each concave groove portion is locked to each other, so that a pair of divided bodies Are connected and fixed to each other. As a result, in the assembled state of the pair of divided bodies, a locking structure that hardly protrudes to either the inner peripheral surface or the outer peripheral surface of the protector can be realized.

In other words, the wire harness extrapolation protector of the present invention realizes a smooth cylindrical outer peripheral surface without projections in a state where a pair of divided bodies are connected and fixed from both sides in the radial direction across the wire harness. I can do it. Thereby, since there is no problem of interference with other members at the mounting position of the protector or the directionality at the time of mounting, the mounting to an arbitrary position on the wire harness is further facilitated.

Further, in the present invention, in each divided body, the extending portion is formed by extending outward in the circumferential direction from the inner peripheral side edge portion of the circumferential end surface, and the recessed groove portion is formed with respect to the extending portion. A mode in which the bottom wall is overlapped so as to cover from the outer peripheral side, and the outer peripheral surface of the portion where the concave groove portion is formed in the divided body is preferably a smooth surface shape without a step is suitably used. Adopted. In such an aspect, the extending portion is covered from the outer peripheral side by the bottom wall of the concave groove portion. Thereby, generation | occurrence | production of the level | step difference in the cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the extrapolation protector for wire harnesses can be suppressed more effectively.

Furthermore, in the present invention, in each divided body, the overlapping surface of the extending portion and the bottom wall of the groove portion is linear from the circumferential end surface of the divided body in the combination direction of the pair of divided bodies. The extending aspect is preferably employed. In such an embodiment, it is easy to remove the divided body from the molding die.

Hereinafter, in order to clarify the present invention more specifically, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

1 and 2 show a wire harness extrapolation protector 10 as a first embodiment of the present invention. The wire harness extrapolation protector 10 has a structure in which a pair of divided bodies 12 and 12 are combined, and has a cylindrical shape as a whole.

More specifically, each divided body 12 is made of a synthetic resin material, and has a semicylindrical shape as a whole as shown in FIGS. At one end portion in the circumferential direction of each divided body 12, an extending portion 16 that extends outward in the circumferential direction from the inner peripheral edge of the circumferential end surface 14 is formed. Therefore, the thickness dimension of the extension portion 16 (dimension in the radial direction of the wire harness extrapolation protector 10) is equal to the thickness dimension of the split body 12 (dimension in the radial direction of the extrapolation protector 10 for wire harness). Has been smaller than. In the present embodiment, one extending portion 16 is formed at a substantially central portion in the longitudinal direction of the divided body 12.

Further, in the present embodiment, a locking projection 18 is provided at the extending end (tip) of the extending portion 16. Accordingly, the locking projection 18 of the present embodiment has a triangular cross section in which the protruding height gradually increases from the extending end side to the proximal end side of the extending portion 16 (in the width direction of the extending portion 16 (divided body). 12 in the longitudinal direction). Particularly in the present embodiment, the locking projection 18 is formed over the entire length of the extending portion 16 in the width direction (longitudinal direction of the divided body 12).

On the other hand, a concave groove portion 22 is formed at the other circumferential end of each divided body 12 so as to open to the inner peripheral edge of the other circumferential end surface 20 and extend inward in the circumferential direction. The concave groove portion 22 is formed at a position corresponding to the extending portion 16 in the longitudinal direction of the divided body 12. And in this embodiment, the locking hole 26 which penetrates the bottom wall 24 in the thickness direction is formed in the circumferential direction inner end of the bottom wall 24 of the recessed groove part 22. Moreover, in this embodiment, the outer peripheral surface of the part in which the ditch | groove part 22 was formed is made into the smooth circular arc-shaped curved surface.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, the outward protrusion 28 which protrudes to the outer side of the thickness direction (radial direction of the extrapolation protector 10 for wire harnesses) is provided in each of the longitudinal direction both ends of each division body 12. FIG. Furthermore, in the present embodiment, on the inner peripheral surface of each divided body 12, a plurality of pressing ridges 30 are provided at appropriate intervals in the middle portion of the divided body 12 in the longitudinal direction.

The pair of divided bodies 12 and 12 having such a structure are combined in a state where the circumferential end faces 14 and 20 are opposed to each other with a wire harness 32 connecting a sensor such as a wheel speed sensor and a control device interposed therebetween. . Specifically, the extending portions 16 formed in the respective divided bodies 12 are accommodated in the recessed groove portions 22 formed in the other-side divided body 12 that are opposed to each other with the wire harness 32 interposed therebetween. The bottom wall 24 of the recessed groove portion 22 is overlapped in the radial direction of the wire harness extrapolation protector 10. Under such a state, the locking projection 18 formed on the extending portion 16 enters the locking hole 26 formed on the bottom wall 24 of the concave groove portion 22 located on the outer peripheral side of the extending portion 16, and the locking projection 18, the end face on the proximal end side of the extending portion 16 abuts against the inner peripheral surface of the locking hole 26, so that the locking projection 18 is locked to the locking hole 26. As is apparent from this, in this embodiment, the concave-convex locking structure is configured by the locking protrusions 18 formed in the extending portion 16 and the locking holes 26 formed in the bottom wall 24 of the concave groove portion 22. ing. In addition, as described above, in a state where the pair of divided bodies 12 and 12 are coupled, the outer ends provided in the respective divided bodies 12 are respectively provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction (axial direction) of the wire harness extrapolation protector 10. An annular block-shaped flange portion 34 formed by cooperation of the projecting portion 28 is provided.

In the wire harness extrapolation protector 10 having such a structure, the extension 16 provided in each of the pair of divided bodies 12, 12 enters the recessed groove portion 22 provided in the other divided body 12. Thus, the locking projections 18 formed on the extending portion 16 are locked in the locking holes 26 formed on the bottom wall 24 of the concave groove portion 22, thereby connecting the pair of divided bodies 12 and 12 to each other. Is fixed. Thereby, it can mount | wear with respect to the target position on the wire harness 32 directly.

Further, on each of the both sides in the radial direction across the wire harness 32, the concave-convex locking structure by the locking protrusion 18 and the locking hole 26 is located. Thereby, a sufficiently large mutual fixing force can be obtained.

In particular, in this embodiment, the inner peripheral surface of each extending portion 16 is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the wire harness 32, and each extending portion 16 is moved toward the bottom wall 24 of the concave groove portion 22 by the elastic force of the wire harness 32. It has been pushed. Thereby, it is possible to stably maintain the locking state of the locking protrusion 18 in the locking hole 26. As a result, a sufficiently large mutual fixing force can be stably obtained.

Further, in a state where the pair of divided bodies 12 and 12 are connected to each other, the inner peripheral surface of the extending portion 16 of each divided body 12 is smoothly connected to the inner peripheral surface of the counterpart divided body 12. In each divided body 12, the outer peripheral surface of the portion where the recessed groove portion 22 is formed is smoothly connected to the outer peripheral surface of the counterpart divided body 12. Thereby, each of the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the wire harness extrapolation protector 10 can be formed into a smooth cylindrical shape having no protrusions as a whole. As a result, the wire harness extrapolation protector 10 does not interfere with other members at the mounting site, and the directionality at the time of mounting is also lost, so that the mountability to any place on the wire harness 32 is improved. .

In particular, in this embodiment, the bottom wall 24 of the recessed groove portion 22 provided in the counterpart split body 12 is overlapped with the extending portion 16 provided in each split body 12 so as to cover from the outer peripheral side. From the cylindrical shape of the extrapolation protector 10 for the wire harness due to the deformation of the extending portion 16 toward the outer peripheral side as compared with the case where the extending portion 16 is positioned on the outer peripheral side from the bottom wall 24 of the concave groove portion 22. The generation of a step on the outer peripheral surface can be suppressed. As a result, the generation of a step on the cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the wire harness extrapolation protector 10 can be more effectively suppressed.

Further, in the present embodiment, the pressing protrusion 30 provided on each divided body 12 is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the wire harness 32 in a state where the pair of divided bodies 12 and 12 are combined with the wire harness 32 interposed therebetween. Yes. Thereby, the stable positioning on the wire harness 32 of the extrapolation protector 10 for wire harnesses is realizable.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, the flange part 34 which protrudes to radial direction outward is provided with respect to each of the axial direction both ends of the extrapolation protector 10 for wire harnesses. Thereby, the extrapolation protector 10 for wire harnesses can be positioned with respect to another member by latching the flange part 34 to another member. In addition, it is possible to obtain the reinforcing effect of the wire harness extrapolation protector 10 itself.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, the locking hole 26 is formed through the bottom wall 24 of the recessed groove portion 22. Thereby, manufacture of the division body 12 becomes easy.

Then, the extrapolation protector 36 for wire harnesses as 2nd embodiment of this invention is demonstrated based on FIG.5 and FIG.6. In the second embodiment described below and the third and fourth embodiments to be described later, the members and parts having the same structure as the first embodiment are shown in FIG. The detailed description is abbreviate | omitted by attaching | subjecting the code | symbol same as a form.

Compared with the extrapolation protector for wire harness (10) of the first embodiment, the extrapolation protector for wire harness of the present embodiment has a structure of each divided body constituting the extrapolation protector for wire harness. Is different. Specifically, the overlapping surface 40 of the extending portion 16 with the bottom wall 24 of the recessed groove portion 22 is a direction in which the pair of divided bodies 38 and 38 are combined from the circumferential end surface 14 of the divided body 38 (in FIG. It extends linearly along the direction indicated by the arrow. Similarly, the overlapping surface 42 of the bottom wall 24 of the recessed groove portion 22 with the extending portion 16 extends from the other circumferential end surface 20 of the divided body 38.

Also in the wire harness extrapolation protector 36 having such a structure, the pair of divided bodies 38 and 38 are connected to each other in a state in which the extended portion 16 is accommodated in the recessed groove portion 22. The same effect as that of the embodiment can be obtained.

Therefore, in this embodiment, the overlapping surfaces 40 and 42 of the extending portion 16 and the bottom wall 24 of the recessed groove portion 22 in each divided body 38 are a pair from the circumferential end surfaces 14 and 20 of the divided body 38. Since the divided bodies 38 and 38 extend linearly in the direction of combination, it is possible to easily remove the divided bodies 38 from the molding die.

Next, the wire harness extrapolation protector 44 according to the third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 7 and 8. The extrapolation protector 44 for wire harness of this embodiment differs in the structure of each division body 46 compared with the extrapolation protector for wire harness (10) of 1st embodiment.

More specifically, the extending portion 48 provided at one end portion in the circumferential direction of each divided body 46 extends outward in the circumferential direction from the end edge portion on the outer peripheral side of the circumferential one end surface 14. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the outer peripheral surface of the extending portion 48 is an arcuate curved surface, while the inner peripheral surface constituting the overlapping surface with the concave groove portion 52 to be described later is the other-side divided body. 46 linearly extends in the direction of combination with 46 (the direction indicated by the arrow in FIG. 7). Further, a locking projection 50 extending in the width direction of the extending portion 48 (direction perpendicular to the paper surface of FIG. 8) is formed at the tip of the extending portion 48 with a substantially constant cross-sectional shape. A locking surface 51 that linearly extends in a direction orthogonal to the combination direction with 46 is formed.

On the other hand, the other circumferential end of each divided body 46 is formed with a concave groove 52 that opens to the outer peripheral edge of the other circumferential end surface 20 and extends inward in the circumferential direction. The bottom wall 24 of the recessed groove 52 extends linearly in the direction of combination with the counterpart split body 46 (the direction indicated by the arrow in FIG. 7). In the present embodiment, the locking hole (26) is not formed in the bottom wall 24 of the recessed groove portion 52, and the locking surface 51 of the locking protrusion 50 provided in the extending portion 48 is the recessed groove portion 52. In FIG. 2, the contact surface 53 is directly brought into contact with and locked with a locking surface 53 linearly extending in a direction orthogonal to the combination direction with the other-side divided body 46. That is, in the present embodiment, the concave-convex locking structure is configured by the locking surface 51 of the locking projection 50 provided on the extension portion 48 and the locking surface 53 of the groove 52.

Even in the wire harness extrapolation protector 44 having such a structure, the locking surface 51 of the locking projection 50 is locked to the locking surface 53 of the groove 52 in a state where the extended portion 48 is accommodated in the groove 52. Since the pair of divided bodies 46 are connected to each other by being locked to each other, the same effect as that of the first embodiment can be obtained.

Then, the wire harness extrapolation protector 56 as a fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 9 and 10. The wire harness extrapolation protector 56 of the present embodiment is different in structure of each divided body 58 from the wire harness extrapolation protector (10) of the first embodiment.

More specifically, in the present embodiment, a locking hole 60 is formed in the extending portion 16, and a locking projection 62 is projected from the bottom surface of the concave groove portion 22. In the present embodiment, the overlapping surfaces 64 and 66 of the bottom wall 24 of the concave groove portion 22 and the extending portion 16 are both combinations of the pair of divided bodies 58 and 58 from the circumferential end of the divided body 58. It spreads out in the direction.

Also in the wire harness extrapolation protector 56 having such a structure, the pair of divided bodies 58 and 58 are connected to each other in a state in which the extending portion 16 is accommodated in the recessed groove portion 22. The same effect as that of the embodiment can be obtained.

As described above, several embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail. For example, in the first, second, and fourth embodiments, the locking holes 26 and 60 are formed on the extended portion 16 and the recessed groove portion 22. There is no need to be formed through the bottom wall 24, and it may be a recess. Further, the locking protrusion 18 may have a hemispherical shape, a rectangular block shape, or the like. Furthermore, the size, shape, and the like of the extending portion and the recessed groove portion are not limited to those of the first to fourth embodiments.

Furthermore, in this invention, the uneven | corrugated latching structure may be provided with two or more appropriate intervals in the longitudinal direction of the extrapolation protector for wire harnesses. In this case, when there are two or more pairs of extending portions and recessed groove portions, on one end side in the circumferential direction of the divided body, an extending portion forming one pair and a recessed groove portion forming another pair are provided. In addition, they may be juxtaposed in the longitudinal direction of the divided bodies.

Furthermore, in the first, second and fourth embodiments, the uneven locking structure may be located at a position where the flange portion 34 is provided.

In the present invention, in the extension part and the concave groove part which make a pair, the concave and convex locking structure by the locking projection and the locking hole is not limited to one. It is of course possible to provide a plurality.

Furthermore, in the present invention, the concave-convex locking structure is a structure in which a locking projection formed to protrude outward in the width direction of the extending portion is locked to a locking hole formed in the side wall of the groove portion. There may be.
