(2)実施例では、蓋部材30およびトレー部材20が後側へ開放するコンソールボックスCBを例示したが、これら蓋部材30およびトレー部材20が、本体部材10の左側へ開放する形態、右側へ開放する形態、または前側へ開放する形態のコンソールボックスCBであってもよい。なお、蓋部材30およびトレー部材20が左側へ開放する形態では、開閉ロック機構LUが該蓋部材30およびトレー部材20の右側端部に設けられ、蓋部材30およびトレー部材20が右側へ開放する形態では、開閉ロック機構LUが該蓋部材30およびトレー部材20の左側端部に設けられ、蓋部材30およびトレー部材20が前側へ開放する形態では、開閉ロック機構LUが該蓋部材30およびトレー部材20の後側端部に設けられる。
(3)実施例では、コンソールボックスとして、自動車室内における前部座席間のフロアに配設されるものを例示したが、前部座席間やシート座面上に着脱可能にセットされる単体のコンソールボックスも対象とされる。

前記蓋部材に配設され、該蓋部材の一端縁に臨む非操作姿勢から蓋部材に沿って前記一端縁より離間する方向に向けてスライド変位した第1操作姿勢と、前記非操作姿勢からトレー部材の開放方向に向けて回転変位した第2操作姿勢とに変位可能な操作部材と、
前記操作部材に、前記トレー部材に向けて延出するよう設けられた第1係合体と、
前記第1係合体に、前記操作部材の非操作姿勢から第1操作姿勢へのスライド変位方向と反対方向へ延出するよう設けた第1連結部と、
