Claims (2)
前記複数の圧電素子によって、所定方向にメインビームを形成した送信ビームの第1超音波信号を被検体内に送信するための送信信号を生成する送信部と、
前記所定方向に受信感度を持たせて、前記複数の圧電素子で受信された被検体内から来た第2超音波信号に基づいて第1受信信号を生成する第1受信部と、
前記所定方向の受信感度を無くして、前記複数の圧電素子で受信された被検体内から来た前記第2超音波信号に基づいて第2受信信号を生成する第2受信部と、
前記第1受信信号を前記第2受信信号に基づいて補正しつつ、前記第1受信信号に基づいて超音波画像を形成する画像処理部とを備え、
前記複数の圧電素子は、複数の圧電素子を含む第1および第2素子部を備え、
前記第1素子部は、前記第1超音波信号の送信および前記第1受信信号の生成のために使用され、
前記第2素子部は、前記第2受信信号の生成のために使用され、
