Description
The present invention relates to an imaging apparatus capable of switching the display of a display unit according to a use situation. In particular, the present invention relates to an imaging apparatus capable of switching display of display means by manual focus.
Also, in such a case, a digital camera that returns an image once enlarged and displayed to the original image after a predetermined time has been put into practical use.
However, the following inconveniences may occur in an interchangeable lens camera. That is, there are various types of interchangeable lenses, and some interchangeable lenses do not transmit information on manual focus operation to the camera body. When such an interchangeable lens is mounted, even if the camera body has a display image enlargement function, it is not possible to enlarge the image during manual focus operation, and the focus can be adjusted more accurately. I can't play it.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a camera body that can be focused more accurately by a manual focus operation and improved in usability even if the lens is interchangeable.

[2. Operation)
[2-1. (Image preparation operation)
First, the operation of the
When the user turns on the
Next, the camera controller 6 requests the
Next, the camera controller 6 requests lens data from the lens controller 23 (S16). The lens data is stored in the
When the camera controller 6 grasps the lens data of the
In this state, the
When performing the contrast-type autofocus operation, the camera controller 6 requests contrast AF data from the lens controller 23 (S20). The contrast AF data is necessary for the contrast autofocus operation, and includes, for example, a focus drive speed, a focus shift amount, an image magnification, and contrast AF availability information.
[2-2. (Manual assist operation)
The manual assist operation is an operation for displaying an enlarged image of the focus area on the liquid crystal monitor 10 so that the user can easily confirm the focus state of the subject image during manual focus. Hereinafter, the manual assist operation of the
When the user sets the
When the
FIG. 6 shows an image of zoom-up display. The frame D1 is a normal image display, the dotted frame D2 is a focus area, and the frame D3 is a zoom-up image display. The user can move the focus area D2 within the display of the liquid crystal monitor 10 by operating the cross button 45 during normal image display and zoom-in image display. While the camera controller 6 accepts the operation of the cross button 45 by the user, the camera controller 6 controls the liquid crystal monitor 10 so as to continue displaying the zoomed-up image.
In addition, when the
Furthermore, the liquid crystal monitor 10 displays information representing the positional relationship between the zoomed-up image area and the original image. A frame D4 in FIG. 6 represents an original image, and a dotted frame D5 represents an image area that is zoomed up.
When the
As a result, when the image near the focus area is zoomed up once, but the user does not perform the manual focus operation for a certain period of time, the liquid crystal monitor 10 ends the zoom up display and returns to the original image display. Therefore, the user does not have to perform the enlargement display canceling operation by waiting for a predetermined time. When the user performs the next shooting operation, the display on the liquid crystal monitor 10 returns to the original image display, so that the user can quickly perform the next shooting.
On the other hand, when the
[2-3. Zoom-up display operation by camera body operation)
The zoom-up display operation by the operation on the
In this case, the camera controller 6 does not cancel the zoom-up display operation until the
Thus, even when an interchangeable lens that does not transmit information related to the operation of the focus ring is attached, the zoom-up display operation can be started by the user's operation. Furthermore, even after a predetermined time has passed, the zoom-up display operation is not canceled unless the zoom-up display operation is canceled based on the user's will, so the zoom-up display operation can be performed even when the focus ring is being operated. It can be prevented from being terminated.
As with the zoom-up operation according to the focus ring operation, if the zoom-up operation is automatically terminated after a predetermined time has elapsed since the zoom-up operation started, the focus ring is being operated. There may occur a situation in which the zoom-up display operation ends. If such a situation occurs, the usability will be poor.
[3. (Summary)
As described above, the
As described above, when the display image is enlarged according to the operation on the focus ring on the interchangeable lens side, the enlarged image display operation is canceled after a predetermined time has elapsed. On the other hand, when the display image is enlarged in accordance with the operation on the camera body side, the cancellation of the enlarged image display operation over time is not executed.
Accordingly, when an interchangeable lens that transmits information related to the operation of the focus ring is attached, the enlarged image display operation can be automatically canceled, so that the operability is good. In addition, even when an interchangeable lens that does not transmit information related to the operation of the focus ring is attached, an enlarged image display operation can be performed, and an enlarged image display operation can be performed against the user's will during the focus ring operation. It can be prevented from being released.
For this reason, even with the interchangeable lens system, it is possible to focus more accurately by manual focus operation, and it is possible to improve usability.

In the first embodiment of the present invention, the configuration having the
In the first embodiment of the present invention, the camera body that does not include the movable mirror is illustrated, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, a movable mirror may be provided in the camera body, or a prism for separating the subject image may be provided. Moreover, the structure provided with a movable mirror not in the camera body but in the adapter may be used.
