Description

In particular, the present invention relates to a label-less continuous substrate body wound in a roll shape and a method for producing a continuous label-free substrate body.

In recent years, when printing and issuing labels with a label printer, or when applying labels to products with an affixing machine, etc., environmental protection is taken into consideration, and the mount (peeling sheet) that is thrown away as trash after use has been eliminated to conserve resources. There is a tendency to use a continuous substrate-less label continuous body (for example, see Patent Document 1).
According to the continuous label-less continuous body wound in the roll shape of Patent Document 1, a label portion is formed by a die cutting machine at approximately equal intervals in the longitudinal direction of the belt-like label base material, and the label portion falls off. In order to prevent this, a discontinuous portion is provided. By the way, the joint portion of the label portion is provided at a side end portion orthogonal to the longitudinal direction (conveying direction of the label continuous body) in consideration of peelability. That is, when performing a direction change called turning by a label base material at the turning edge, if there is a joint at the front end in the transport direction of the label part, the label part is less likely to be peeled off from the label base material, so it is provided at the side end part. Yes, when the label base material is turned, the label part has its own rigidity and protrudes forward in the conveying direction where there is no joint, and then the joint of the side edge of the label part by the pulling action of the label collar Is automatically cut and can be taken out as a single label piece.
However, there is a possibility that problems may occur during printing in the continuous labelless continuous body in which the joint portion is formed only at the side end. That is, since the continuous label body without a mount has a tendency to curl with curling wrinkles, the front end of the label portion without a joint portion when fed and printed on a printing portion having a thermal head and a platen. The part (front end in the transport direction of the continuous label) is in a state of being lifted from the label substrate, causing problems such as bending and clogging when transporting and entering between the thermal head and the platen. .
If a joint portion is provided at the front end in the transport direction to prevent the label portion from being lifted by the curl, there is a problem that the peelability between the label substrate and the label portion is deteriorated as described above.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-187047

The present invention has been made paying attention to the above-mentioned problems, and the label portion is formed from the label base material at the time of winding such as a small winding at the time of production or when printing a label by a label printer or the like. An object of the present invention is to provide a label continuous body without a mount and a method for producing a label continuous body without a mount, in which the label portion does not peel off and floats easily and the label portion easily peels off from the label base. .

The label-free continuous body according to the present invention is a continuous label-less continuous body in which a release agent layer is applied to the front surface of a strip-shaped label base material and an adhesive layer is applied to the back surface and wound in a roll shape. In the longitudinal direction of the material, it has a label portion formed by die-cutting grooves at almost equal intervals, and a plurality of slight joint portions are formed at an arbitrary position of the label portion, and slightly from the joint portion. An incision is formed in the longitudinal direction of the label base material from a position away from it.
Further, the cut portion can be extended linearly in the longitudinal direction, or can be extended at an angle inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction from the outer shape line in accordance with the outer shape line of the label portion.
Furthermore, the method for producing a continuous label-less body according to the second aspect of the present invention is a large winding in which a release agent layer is applied to the front surface of the strip-shaped label base material, and an adhesive layer is applied to the back surface, and wound in a roll shape. A transfer step of transferring the label base material, and a plurality of rows in the width direction, leaving a plurality of slight joint portions, and a position slightly separated from the joint portion in the width direction with respect to the label base material. More, a die cutting step for forming a cut portion in the longitudinal direction of the label base material, a slit step for cutting the large-winding label base material into a plurality of rows in the width direction, and the label portion and the cut portion are formed. A small winding step of winding the label base material into a predetermined roll shape.

According to the continuous label-less body of the present invention, the label base has a label portion formed by die-cutting grooves at substantially equal intervals in the longitudinal direction of the label base material, and a plurality of slight portions are provided at an arbitrary position of the label portion. In addition to forming a continuous joint, a notch is formed in the longitudinal direction of the label base material from a position slightly away from the joint, so that the label base material is easily bent during turning, and the joint is point-stopped. Since it is formed in a state, there is an effect that cutting by turning becomes easy.
Further, if the cut portion is linearly stretched in the longitudinal direction or is stretched at an angle inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction from the contour line in accordance with the contour line of the label portion, it is easy to bend and the seam is easily cut. .
In addition, according to the method for producing a label continuous body without a mount, a labeling process is performed in which a large number of label substrates wound in a roll shape are transferred, and the label substrate is left with a plurality of slight joints. A plurality of rows in the width direction, die cutting and forming a cut portion in the longitudinal direction of the label base material from a position slightly away from the joint, and a large winding label base material in the width direction A slit process for cutting into a plurality of rows and a small winding process for winding the label base material on which the label part and the cut part are formed into a predetermined roll shape. The material is easy to bend, and there is an effect that there is no state where the label portion is lifted from the label base material even in a small winding state due to a plurality of seams.

Next, based on FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, an apparatus for producing a continuous labelless body for realizing a continuous labelless body 1 without mount will be described.
FIG. 3 is a schematic explanatory view of an apparatus for producing a label continuous body without mount, and FIG. 4 is a plan explanatory view in which a part of the apparatus viewed from the direction of arrow IV in FIG. 3 is omitted.
The board continuous label production apparatus 10 mainly includes a label base material supply unit 11, a die cut roller unit 12, a slit cut unit 13, and a winding unit 14. In FIG. 4, only the flat surface of the original fabric (to be described later) is visible, and main parts such as the die-cut roller portion 12 of the manufacturing apparatus 10 are omitted.
The label base material supply unit 11 is loaded with a raw material having a maximum width and called a “raw fabric”. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 is provided on the back surface of the “substrate” of the original fabric 15, and the release agent layer 4 and the heat-sensitive color former layer 9 (see FIG. 2) are provided on the surface.
In the die-cut roller portion 12, the label portion 6 and the cut portion 8 formed by being surrounded by the die-cutting groove 5 and the joint portion 7 are punched over a plurality of rows in the width direction (three rows in the example of FIG. 4). A “die cut” (not shown) to be molded is mounted (die cutting process).
The slit cut unit 13 is equipped with a “cutter blade” (not shown) that cuts the raw fabric 15 into a desired width and length. Depending on the type of “label printer” or “automatic bonding machine” to be installed, The desired width W and the length converted into the desired number of label portions 6 are cut (slit process).
The winding unit 14 is configured to wind up the non-mounting label continuous body 1 cut to a desired width W by the slit cutting unit 13 (small winding process).
Note that 16a to 16g are guide rollers, 17a and 17b are tension rollers, and these tension rollers 17a and 17b are used when the original fabric 15 is transferred and wound in the direction indicated by the arrow B (transfer process). It is designed to play the role of “for tension adjustment”.

In order to produce the continuous paperless label continuous body 1 with the above-described continuous paperless label production apparatus 10, the raw material 15 is attached to the label base material supply unit 11, and this raw material 15 is used as a guide roller 16 a and a tension roller. 17a and the guide rollers 16b and 16c through the die cut roller unit 12, and the guide rollers 16d and 16e, the tension roller 17b and the guide rollers 16f and 16g, and the slit cut unit 13 and the winding unit 14 Wrap.
Mainly, as shown in FIG. 4, the raw fabric 15 fed out and conveyed toward the winding unit 14 (in the direction indicated by arrow B) is labeled with three rows of label units 6 by die cutting (not shown) at the die cut roller unit 12. The cut portion 8 is formed, and further, the slit cut portion 13 is cut into three rows with a desired width W, and is wound around the winding portion 14 as the label continuous body 1 without mount.
In addition, the process of winding the large wound original fabric 15 to a desired length while cutting it to a desired width W is called a “small winding process”, or cut to a small size through the “small winding process” The continuous label 1 without mount is simply referred to as “small winding”, or the “small winding process” itself for cutting is referred to as “small winding”.

Next, based on FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, a case where printing is performed by a “label printer” using the continuous label body 1 without mount will be described.
FIG. 5 is a schematic plan view showing the vicinity of the printing portion of the “label printer”, and FIG. 6 is a schematic cross-sectional view taken along line VI-VI in FIG.
The “label printer” includes a printing unit 20 including a print head 21 and a platen 22, a peeling pin 23 as a peeling unit provided downstream of the printing unit 20, and the like. The continuous label continuous body 1 is fed out to the printing unit 20 side, is sandwiched between the print head 21 and the platen 22, and is transported to the print head 21 while transporting the continuous labelless continuous body 1 in the transport direction F as the platen 22 rotates. The desired information 24 (in the example shown in the figure, “◯ × prefecturally produced strawberry”) is printed on the surface of the label continuous body 1 without the mount.
Note that when the baseless label continuous body 1 is transported and sandwiched between the print head 21 and the platen 22 of the printing unit 20, the joint portion 7 is also provided at the front end in the transport direction F, so Since there is no lifting of the part 6, conveyance and intrusion are smooth.
Furthermore, the label continuous body 1 without the mount is conveyed downstream from the printing unit 20, turned in the conveyance reverse direction by the peeling pin 23, and taken up by a winding unit (not shown).
A cut portion 8 is formed in the label continuous body 1 without the mount in the longitudinal direction H of the label substrate 2, and the cut portion 8 is longer than the joint portion 7 in the longitudinal direction of the label substrate 2. Since it is formed in the direction H, the label base material 2 is easily bent when the continuous label body 1 without mount is turned. Further, the joint portion 7 is formed with respect to the label base material 2 by the die-cutting groove 5 and the cut portion 8. Therefore, the joint portion 7 can be easily cut, and when the joint portion 7 is cut by turning, the label base 2 and the leading end portion 6a of the label portion 6 are formed. Projecting forward in the conveying direction F of the peeling pin 23 due to its own rigidity.
The label part 6 peeled off from the label base material 2 by the peeling pin 23 is removed by hand and attached to a not-shown product via the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3, or a suction machine of a not-shown sticking machine provided in the next stage. It can be used as a “label piece” of a single leaf.

As described above, in the longitudinal direction H of the label base material 2, the label portion 6 is formed by the die-cutting grooves 5 at substantially equal intervals, and a plurality of slight joint portions are provided at arbitrary positions of the label portion 6. 7 is formed, and the cut portion 8 is formed in the longitudinal direction H of the label base material 2 from a position slightly away from the joint portion 7, so that the label base material 2 is easily bent during turning, and the joint Since the portion 7 is formed in a “point-stop” state, cutting by turning is facilitated.
Furthermore, contrary to the case where the label continuous body 1 without mount is transported to the printing unit 10 side (direction indicated by arrow F) for printing by the “label printer”, the label continuous body without mount having a desired width W from the original fabric 15. In the small winding process for producing 1, winding is performed in the reverse direction of conveyance (the direction indicated by the arrow B in FIGS. 3 and 4), but in any direction, the joint 7 and the position slightly separated from the joint 7. Since the cut portion 8 is formed in the longitudinal direction H, as described above, it is easy to bend the label substrate 2 at the time of turning, and to bend at the time of winding the continuous substrateless body 1 in the small winding process. In addition, the label portion 6 is not easily peeled off when the roll is rolled by the joint portion 7, and the “point-stop” joint portion 7 is easily cut during turning, so that the label portion 6 is difficult to peel off during production, and when turning, La Le 6 is intended to mount without continuous label 1 easily peeled off from the label substrate 2 can be realized.

Next, based on FIG. 7, a label continuous body 30 without a mount according to another embodiment will be described.
In the following description, the same parts as those in the previous embodiment are given the same reference numerals, and detailed descriptions thereof are omitted.
