Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an engine room shielding structure that partitions and shields a hood for closing an engine room and a vehicle body.
By the way, a seal member is provided around the engine room, and the rear end of the hood and the cowl louver located behind the engine room are usually sealed by such a seal member. For this reason, rainwater and foreign matter that have fallen along the windshield glass do not pass through the cowl louver and enter the engine room, or if there is, very little.
However, when the actuator is operated and the hood is pushed up as described above, the gap between the rear end of the hood and the cowl louver is greatly opened. For this reason, there is a possibility that the seal member is broken or the seal member is separated from the hood even if it is not broken, and rainwater and foreign matter enter the engine room from between the rear end of the hood and the cowl louver.
An object of the present invention is to obtain an engine room shielding structure that can prevent or suppress the entry of rainwater or foreign matter into the engine room in a state where the hood is raised in consideration of the above fact.
The engine room shielding structure according to the first aspect of the present invention is disposed between an outer peripheral side of a hood that covers an engine room of a vehicle from above and closes the engine room and a vehicle body that surrounds the engine room, Shielding means is provided that is deployed as the hood moves upward and partitions the inside and the outside of the engine room.
In the engine room shielding structure according to the first aspect of the present invention, the hood for closing the engine room rises to the upper side of the vehicle (for example, the other side rotates around one of the vehicle front side and the rear side). In the state of being lifted so as to move, the shielding means is deployed between the outer periphery of the hood and the vehicle body that surrounds the engine room (the vehicle body that forms both ends in the front-rear direction and the left-right direction of the engine room). The inside of the engine room and the outside of the engine room are partitioned. When the hood rises, a gap is formed between the outer periphery of the hood and the vehicle body that surrounds the engine room.As described above, the shielding means separates the inside of the engine room from the outside of the engine room. Intrusion of rainwater and foreign matter from the gap is prevented or suppressed.
An engine room shielding structure according to a second aspect of the present invention is the engine room shielding structure according to the first aspect, wherein the hood is deployed between the vicinity of the rear end of the hood and the vehicle body in a state where the hood is raised. Thus, the shielding means includes the front-rear direction shielding means for partitioning the inner side and the outer side of the engine room in the front-rear direction of the vehicle.
In the engine room shielding structure according to the second aspect of the present invention, the front / rear direction shielding means is deployed between the vicinity of the rear end of the raised hood and the vehicle body. The front and rear shielding means partitions the inside and outside of the engine room of the vehicle back and forth, so that, for example, rainwater that flows along the windshield glass of the vehicle and foreign matter carried by wind from the rear can enter the engine room. Attempts are made to block by the front-rear direction blocking means. This prevents or suppresses rainwater and foreign matter from entering the engine room from the rear side of the vehicle.
The engine room shielding structure according to a third aspect of the present invention is the engine room shielding structure according to the second aspect, wherein the base end side is directly or indirectly fixed to the vehicle body, and the front end side is near the rear end of the hood. The hood is fixed directly or indirectly to the hood and is folded by being bent at each of a plurality of bent portions intermittently set in the direction from the base end side to the tip end side. As a result, the front side is lifted together with the hood, and the front and rear direction shielding means includes a shielding member deployed between the vicinity of the rear end of the hood and the vehicle body.
In the engine room shielding structure according to the third aspect of the present invention, the front end side of the shielding member constituting the front-rear direction shielding means is directly or indirectly fixed near the rear end of the hood, and the rear end of the hood of the vehicle body The base end side of the shielding member is fixed to a position corresponding to (that is, a portion of the vehicle body located on the rear end side of the engine room). The shielding member is bent and folded around an axis whose axial direction is the width direction of the hood at a plurality of bent portions set intermittently along the direction from the base end side to the one end side.
When the hood (particularly the rear end side of the hood) rises, the front end side of the shielding member fixed to the hood rises along with the hood, and thereby the shielding member is deployed. By deploying the shielding member in this way, the inner side and the outer side of the engine room are partitioned by the shielding member along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. As a result, rainwater and foreign matter are prevented from entering the engine room from the rear side of the vehicle.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided the engine room shielding structure according to the third aspect of the present invention, wherein, in the folded state of the shielding member, the rear end portion of the hood is supported from below and the rear of the hood is supported. The shielding member is provided with rigidity capable of preventing or suppressing downward deflection in the vicinity of the end.
According to the engine room shielding structure according to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the folded shielding member has a rigidity sufficient to support the vicinity of the rear end portion of the hood from below, thereby Bending downward in the vicinity of the rear end is prevented or suppressed.
Here, in the engine room shielding structure according to the present invention, the shielding member itself has a function similar to that of the supporting means in claim 3 (in other words, in the present invention, the shielding member serves as the supporting means. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide support means separately from the shielding member.
The engine room shielding structure according to the present invention as set forth in claim 5 is provided in the vicinity of the rear end of the hood in the present invention according to
In the engine room shielding structure according to the fifth aspect of the present invention, at least a part from one end to the other end in the width direction of the hood on the rear end side of the hood is supported from below by the support means. Thereby, the downward bending of the rear end side of the hood is prevented or suppressed.
The engine room shielding structure according to a sixth aspect of the present invention is the engine room shielding structure according to any one of the first to fifth aspects, wherein the hood is lifted in the width direction end portion. The shielding means includes a width direction shielding means that is developed between the vicinity and the vehicle body and partitions the inside and outside of the engine room in the width direction of the hood.
In the engine room shielding structure according to the sixth aspect of the present invention, the width direction shielding means is deployed between the vicinity of the raised end portion of the hood in the width direction and the vehicle body. Since the width direction shielding means partitions the inside and outside of the engine room of the vehicle in the width direction of the hood, for example, if rainwater or foreign matter carried by wind blowing from the outside of the vehicle width direction enters the engine room, the width It is blocked by the direction blocking means. This prevents or suppresses rainwater and foreign matter from entering the engine room from the outside in the width direction of the vehicle.
The engine room shielding structure according to a seventh aspect of the present invention is the hood according to any one of the first to sixth aspects, wherein the hood operates around the front end side of the hood by operating. An actuator for raising and rotating the rear end side of the rear end is provided.
In the engine room shielding structure according to the seventh aspect of the present invention, when the actuator is actuated, the hood rotates so that the rear end side rises around the front end side. As a result, the distance from the engine room to the hood on the rear end side of the hood compared to the state in which the hood is closed (more specifically, the distance from the various members and devices installed in the engine room to the hood). ) Becomes longer.
When the hood is lifted and rotated by the actuator as described above, the shielding means is disposed between the outer peripheral side of the hood and the vehicle body that surrounds the engine room (in other words, the vehicle body forming the engine room). The inside of the room is partitioned from the outside of the engine room. When the hood is raised and rotated, a gap is formed between the outer periphery of the hood and the vehicle body that surrounds the engine room. As described above, the inside of the engine room and the outside of the engine room are partitioned by the shielding means. Thus, intrusion of rainwater, foreign matter, and the like from this gap is prevented or suppressed.
As described above, in the engine room shielding structure according to the first aspect of the present invention, it is possible to prevent or suppress rainwater, foreign matter, and the like from entering the engine room with the hood raised.
In the engine room shielding structure according to the second aspect of the present invention, it is possible to prevent or suppress rainwater, foreign matter, and the like from entering the engine room from the rear side of the vehicle with the hood raised.
In the engine room shielding structure according to the third aspect of the present invention, the front end of the folded shielding member moves along with the rising hood so that the shielding member is deployed, so that the engine room is opened from the vehicle rear side. It is possible to prevent or suppress the entry of rainwater or foreign matter into the inside.
In the engine room shielding structure according to the fourth aspect of the present invention, it is possible to prevent the rear end side of the hood from being bent downward in the state before the hood is raised without providing a support means separately from the shielding member. Or it can be suppressed.
In the engine room shielding structure according to the fifth aspect of the present invention, the downward bending of the rear end side of the hood can be prevented or suppressed.
In the engine room shielding structure according to the sixth aspect of the present invention, it is possible to prevent or suppress rainwater, foreign matter, and the like from entering the engine room from the outside in the width direction of the vehicle with the hood raised.
In the engine room shielding structure according to the seventh aspect of the present invention, it is possible to prevent or suppress rainwater, foreign matter, or the like from entering the engine room while the hood is raised and rotated by the actuator.
<Configuration of First Embodiment>
FIG. 1 shows a schematic side cross-sectional view of a configuration of a main part of a
As shown in this figure, the
An
The
The
The outer shape of the
Further, a latch (not shown) provided on a member constituting the vehicle body on the front end side of the
A hood
Further, on the

An end portion of the

<Operation and Effect of First Embodiment>
Next, the operation and effect of the present embodiment will be described.
In the
When the
In this state, when any object falls on the
Further, when any object falls from above the
On the other hand, the
In the state where the rear end side of the
Further, in the present embodiment, the shielding
Further, since the shielding
<Configuration of Second Embodiment>
Next, other embodiments of the present invention will be described. In describing each of the following embodiments, the same parts as those in the previous embodiment are basically the same as those in the embodiment described above including the first embodiment. Reference numerals are assigned and detailed description thereof is omitted.
FIG. 5 is a perspective view corresponding to FIG. 3 showing a shielding
The sheet material constituting the shielding
<Operation and Effect of Second Embodiment>
Even in this embodiment, when the
In the configuration of the present embodiment, since the shielding
Although not particularly illustrated, the shielding
<Configuration of Third Embodiment>
Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described.
FIG. 6 is a perspective view corresponding to FIG. 3 showing the configuration of the main part of the present embodiment. As shown in this figure, in this embodiment, in addition to the shielding
The shielding
The shielding
<Operation and Effect of Third Embodiment>
In this embodiment, when the
In the present embodiment and the second embodiment, since the shielding
In the present embodiment, the shielding
Furthermore, although each said embodiment demonstrated on the assumption that the pop-up
