The lower end of the pointer shaft 51 is fixed to the rotation shaft 72 a of the movement 72, and the pointer shaft 51 is rotated by driving the movement 72. The pointer 52 rotates about the pointer shaft 51 along the surface of the display plate 2 and indicates the indicator 21 of the display plate 2. A reflection surface (not shown) that reflects incident light from the lower surface side and guides it to the distal end side is provided at the proximal end portion of the pointer 52.

The light source 3 is, for example, a surface mount type light emitting diode (LED), and is arranged around the pointer shaft 51 in an annular shape. The reflection plate 6 is disposed on the back side of the index 21 and reflects light emitted from the light exit surface 42 c (see FIGS. 2 to 4) of the bent portion 42 included in the light guide member 4 to the back surface of the index 21.

FIG. 2 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the light guide member 4 of the display device 1. FIG. 3 is a view showing a structure for attaching the light guide member 4 to the case 7. 4A is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the inside of the frame B in FIG. 2, and FIGS.

The light guide member 4 is formed of, for example, a transparent synthetic resin such as an acrylic resin, and is arranged on the back side of the display board 2 and inserted through the pointer shaft 51 as shown in an enlarged view in FIG. A cylindrical portion 41, a bent portion 42 extending from the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 41 toward the outer edge of the display plate 2, and a locked portion 43 extending downward from the lower edge of the bent portion 42. Function as.

The cylindrical portion 41 faces the light source 3 with the lower end surface 41 a facing the upper surface 41 b against the back surface of the display plate 2 positioned at the periphery of the through hole 22. The cylindrical portion 41 emits incident light from the lower end surface 41a from the upper end surface 41b, and illuminates the pointer 52 that faces the upper end surface 41b via the display panel 2.

As shown in an enlarged view in FIG. 3, the bent portion 42 has a cross-sectional shape that extends upward from the lower end and then bends outward while widening, and has a distal end portion extending outwardly. An annular shape is formed around the portion 41. The bent portion 42 has a lower end surface arranged side by side with the lower end surface 41a of the cylindrical portion 41 as a light receiving surface 42a for the irradiation light from the light source 3, and a distal end surface facing outward is a light output of incident light from the light receiving surface 42a. The surface 42c is used.

As shown in an enlarged view in FIG. 4A, the light receiving surface 42a is formed of a flat surface that is inclined with respect to the lower end surface 41a and faces the light source 3, and is indicated by a solid line arrow in FIG. In this way, incident light is refracted and guided to the internal reflection surface 42b. 4B, the upper inner surface of the bent portion of the bent portion 42 located above the light receiving surface 42a reflects incident light from the light receiving surface 42a as indicated by a dotted line in the figure. Thus, the inner reflection surface 42b is guided to the light exit surface 42c through the bent portion 42. As shown in an enlarged view in FIG. 4 (c), the internal reflection surface 42b has an incident angle of light incident from the light receiving surface 42a as indicated by a dotted line in FIG. It has a cross-sectional shape with an angle of. The light exit surface 42c has a cross-sectional shape that refracts the reflected light from the internal reflection surface 42b toward the reflection plate 6 as indicated by a dotted arrow in the drawing.

As shown in FIG. 3, the locked portion 43 has a substantially L-shaped cross-sectional shape that extends downward from the lower edge of the bent portion 42 and then bends outward. A supported portion 42 d supported by the support portion 71 is provided at the lower edge of the bent portion 42 where the locked portion 43 extends. The light guide member 4 has a supported portion 42d mounted on an end portion 71b that extends upward inside the support portion 71, and the distal end of the locked portion 43 is locked by a flange portion 71a of the outer end portion. , Supported by the support portion 71.

As shown in FIG. 1B, a part of the light emitted from the light source 3 is incident on the cylindrical portion 41 from the lower end surface 41a and is displayed from the upper end surface 41b as indicated by a dotted arrow in the figure. 2 irradiates the proximal end of the pointer 52 to illuminate the pointer 52. A part of the light emitted from the light source 3 is incident on the bent portion 42 from the light receiving surface 42a and reflected by the internal reflecting surface 42b as shown by a dotted arrow in FIG. The reflective plate 6 is irradiated from 42c and reflected by the reflective plate 6 to illuminate the indicator 21 from the back side.

According to the present embodiment, the incident light to the light receiving surface 42a of the bent portion 42 arranged side by side with the lower end surface 41a of the cylindrical portion 41 is reflected by the internal reflecting surface 42b and emitted from the light emitting surface 42c. 6, the indicator 21 is illuminated on the back surface of the indicator 21, so that the illumination of the pointer 52 in the cylindrical portion 41 and the illumination of the indicator 21 in the bent portion 42 can be performed using one light source 3.

Further, the incident light from the light receiving surface 42a reaches the light emitting surface 42c by one reflection at the internal reflection surface 42b, so that the irradiation light from the light source 3 can be guided to the reflection plate 6 without weakening.

Further, by tilting the light receiving surface 42a with respect to the lower end surface 41a and facing the light source 3, strong light emitted above the light source 3 can be bent and guided to the internal reflection surface 42b. For this reason, light of sufficient intensity can be emitted from the light guide member 4.

For example, as shown by a dotted line in FIG. 4A, in the light receiving surface 420a that is formed flush with the lower end surface 41a of the cylindrical portion 41 and does not face the light source 3, the light receiving surface 42a is located away from the light source 3. The incident angle becomes larger than the critical angle and the light is totally reflected. In addition, in the concave light receiving surface 421a shown in FIG. 5A, the incident light to the light receiving surface 421a spreads in the bent portion 42 and reaches the internal reflecting surface 42b while being reflected in the bent portion 42. The light irradiated from the light guide member 4 is weakened. In addition, in the convex light receiving surface 422a shown in FIG. 5B, incident light at both ends of the light receiving surface 422a is reflected, and light emitted from the light guide member 4 is weakened.

On the other hand, according to the light receiving surface 42a which is arranged facing the light source 3 and is formed flat, the incident angle of incident light is kept smaller than the critical angle over the entire surface of the light receiving surface 42a, and more light is obtained. The light guide member 4 can irradiate light with sufficient intensity.

Further, since the internal reflection surface 42b of the bent portion 42 is formed by the upper inner surface of the bent portion of the bent portion 42 and has a curved surface shape, incident light from the light receiving surface 42a is shown in FIG. As indicated by the dotted line, the light is reflected in the direction of the light exit surface 42c. For this reason, the incident light from the light receiving surface 42a can be guided to a narrow range, and the light guide member 4 can be downsized.

Further, by changing the height of the end portion 71 b of the support portion 71, the height of the emitted light from the light exit surface 42 c is adjusted without changing the shape of the light guide member 4, and the reflection plate 6 is interposed. The illumination position of the index 21 can be adjusted. For this reason, the illumination according to the formation position and shape of the parameter | index 21 with which the display board 2 is provided can be performed easily.

In the above embodiment, the case where the incident light from the light receiving surface 42a is reflected once by the internal reflection surface 42b and guided to the light exit surface 42c has been described. The smaller the number of reflections of the incident light from the light receiving surface 42a in the bent portion 42, the less the emitted light from the light emitting surface 42c does not weaken. Therefore, the number of the internal reflecting surfaces 42b is preferably small. The quantity of 42b can be suitably changed according to the installation place of the light guide member 4, etc.

Moreover, in the said embodiment, the case where the bending part 42 was formed over the perimeter of the cylinder part 41, and exhibited the cyclic | annular form was demonstrated. However, if the indicator 21 can be illuminated via the reflector 6, the bent portion 42 does not need to be formed over the entire circumference of the cylindrical portion 41. For example, the bent portion is provided for each one or a plurality of indicators 21. 42 may be provided.
