Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culvert water storage infiltration tank capable of coping with a flood caused by concentrated heavy rain in a city and intense heat in summer due to the heat island phenomenon, reducing cost and term of construction, and ensuring safety.
SOLUTION: The flood in a city is caused because the dropped rainwater does not permeate the ground and enters a ditch, a drainage channel, and a river in a concentrated manner all at once. Therefore, the water storage tank is installed to store the dropped rainwater once and let it infiltrate the ground.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a water storage tank in which rainwater is not immediately discharged into a river but stored underground and permeated.

In the past, rainwater was only discharged to the river through a drain or drainage.

This has the following drawbacks.
(B) The conventional drainage channel only discharges rainwater immediately to the river, so floods frequently occur in urban torrential rains, and damage to subways and underground shopping centers is also real.
(B) In urban areas, the road surface is almost covered with asphalt and concrete, and there is little exposed ground, making it difficult for rainwater to penetrate into the ground. The present invention is effective as a means for solving this.

It is not necessary to acquire a national or prefectural municipality, and it is costly to make a water tank that can infiltrate rainwater even in the underground part of roads, public grounds and parks that are said to occupy about 30% of the total area of the city. Can be a safe flood countermeasure.

(B) Floods are prevented by not concentrating rainwater on urban rivers that have become drainage channels.
(B) Taking Arakawa as an example, urban areas have developed in the Arakawa basin, and most of the rainwater that falls has flowed into the river without penetrating underground. If a tank is created and the amount of direct inflow into the Arakawa River is reduced, it will be a countermeasure against floods caused by typhoons.
(C) In places where ground subsidence has become a problem due to groundwater pumping, as a countermeasure, a dark-dyed water storage tank is established, and by using the technology of dark-dyed drainage to reverse the water, It seems to be a solution.
(D) In summer, such as Tokyo, it is possible to prevent the withering of flowering trees by adding a lot of moisture to the ground, and by increasing the green space, an effect that leads to suppression of the heat island phenomenon can be expected.
(E) Regarding the river flow rate, the water that has slowly leached out of the soil will increase the flow rate from the usual, and it can be expected to clear the river.
(F) In addition, the size of the dark dye storage tank can be designed according to the estimated precipitation.
