Description

The present invention relates to a spring guide that is mounted on an axle housing such as a truck and is engaged with a leaf spring (plate spring).

As shown in FIG. 1, a spring guide 3 to which a leaf spring (plate spring) 2 is engaged is attached to the upper portion of the axle housing 1 at an interval in the vehicle width direction. Reference numeral 4 denotes a bracket to which a suspension link or the like is attached.

As shown in FIG. 2, the spring guide 3 includes a base portion 5 that is mounted on the axle housing 1, a spring seat portion 6 that is formed on the base portion 5 and on which the leaf spring 2 is placed, and is upward from the base portion 5. A thrust stopper portion 7 that extends and the leaf spring 2 abuts in the horizontal direction, and a rebound stopper portion 8 that extends inward in the vehicle width direction from the upper portion of the thrust stopper portion 7 and the leaf spring 2 abuts from below. Yes.

The spring guide 3 has a relatively complicated shape in which the spring seat portion 6, the thrust stopper portion 7, and the rebound stopper portion 8 are connected in a substantially U shape when viewed from the front-rear direction of the vehicle body. As described above, the spring guide 3 having a complicated shape and a large plate thickness is conventionally manufactured mainly by casting, and there is hardly any one manufactured by press sheet metal processing capable of mass production and cost reduction.

Although there are few examples of press sheet metal working, the spring guide manufactured by conventional press sheet metal working has a welded assembly structure that assembles press-formed parts by welding, so it has low durability and a more complicated drawing. There has been a problem that the cost of tooling and tooling is high due to the necessity of molding and the like.

In addition, although what was described in patent documents 1 and 2 is known as a bracket for leaf springs manufactured by press sheet metal processing, these are not brackets for large trucks, but are described above as spring guides. The problem cannot be solved.

And a rebound stopper portion 8 that comes into contact with.

The base part 5 has a spring seat part 6 formed in an inverted U-shaped vertical section. The spring seat portion 6 includes a pair of vertical walls 61 and 62 that are spaced apart in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body, and a horizontal wall 63 that connects the upper portions of the vertical walls 61 and 62. The leaf spring 2 is placed, and an axle housing 1 for trunnion suspension (see FIG. 1) is mounted between the vertical walls 61 and 62. The horizontal wall 63 becomes the substantial spring seat portion 6, and the vertical walls 61 and 62 become the base portion 5 substantially.

The thrust stopper portion 7 has a main body 71 formed in a U-shaped horizontal section having an opening inward in the vehicle width direction. The main body 71 includes a pair of vertical walls 71a and 71b which are overlapped with the outer surfaces of the left and right vertical walls 61 and 62 of the spring seat portion 6 and extend upward, and the vertical walls 71a and 71b are arranged outwardly in the vehicle width direction. It has the connection wall 71c which connects edge parts. The thrust stopper portion 7 includes a front flange 72 extending forward from a vertical wall 71a on the vehicle body front side of the main body 71, and a rear flange 73 extending rearward from a vertical wall 71b on the vehicle body rear side of the main body 71. It has a horizontal cross-section hat shape.

The rebound stopper portion 8 is formed in a U-shaped vertical section, and has a pair of vertical walls 81 and 82 that are spaced apart in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body, and a horizontal wall 83 that connects the lower portions of the vertical walls 81 and 82 to each other. And have. The vertical walls 81 and 82 of the rebound stopper portion 8 are overlapped with the inner surfaces of the vertical walls 71a and 71b of the thrust stopper portion 7 at the outer side in the vehicle width direction, and the inner portions of the vertical walls 71a and 71b are inward from the vertical walls 71a and 71b. Is jumping out.

The spring guide 3 having such a structure is manufactured by making the blank 3X punched as shown in FIG. 5 into a valley fold and a one-dot chain line to a mountain fold.

As shown in FIG. 5, the material plate 3 </ b> X includes a portion that becomes the base portion 5, a portion that becomes the spring seat portion 6, a portion that becomes the thrust stopper portion 7, and a portion that becomes the rebound stopper portion 8. .

The portion that becomes the base portion 5 substantially overlaps with the portion that becomes the spring seat portion 6, and the portion that becomes the spring seat portion 6 includes a portion that becomes the horizontal wall 63 formed in a substantially rectangular shape, It has the part which becomes the vertical walls 61 and 62 connected to both sides and formed in the substantially trapezoid.

The portion that becomes the thrust stopper portion 7 is a portion that becomes the connecting wall 71c formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape, a portion that becomes the vertical walls 71a and 71b connected to both sides thereof, a front flange 72 and a rear flange 73 connected thereto. The part which becomes. The triangular portion 71x in the portions that become the vertical walls 71a and 71b of the thrust stopper portion 7 is overlapped on the vertical walls 61 and 62 of the spring seat portion 6 by folding the broken line X 180 degrees.

The portion that becomes the rebound stopper portion 8 has a portion that becomes the horizontal wall 83 and portions that become the vertical walls 81 and 82 connected to both sides thereof. A part of the portion of the rebound stopper portion 8 that becomes the vertical walls 81 and 82 is folded at 180 ° by the broken line Y and overlapped with the upper portions of the vertical walls 71a and 71b of the thrust stopper portion 7.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the spring guide 3 manufactured by appropriately folding the material plate 3 </ b> X with the broken line as a valley fold and the alternate long and short dash line as a mountain fold, the thrust stopper portion 7 is disposed in the vehicle width direction as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. Since it has the main body 71 formed in the horizontal cross-section U shape which has an opening in the direction, intensity | strength and rigidity improve. In addition, in the present embodiment, the thrust stopper portion 7 has a front flange 72 and a rear flange 73 provided at the opening edge portion of the main body 71, and the horizontal section has a substantially hat shape. Further improvement.

Further, portions (broken lines Y) that connect the vertical walls 81 and 82 of the rebound stopper portion 8 and the vertical walls 71a and 71b of the thrust stopper portion 7 are folded back 180 degrees, and these vertical walls (81 and 71a, 82 and 71b) are connected. Since they are overlapped with each other, the connection strength and rigidity between the rebound stopper portion 8 and the thrust stopper portion 7 are improved. Similarly, portions (broken lines X) connecting the vertical walls 71a and 71b of the thrust stopper portion 7 and the vertical walls 61 and 62 of the spring seat portion 6 are folded back 180 degrees, and these vertical walls (71a and 61, 71b and 62 are connected). ), The connection strength and rigidity between the thrust stopper portion 7 and the spring seat portion 6 are improved.

Since the three members of the rebound stopper portion 8, the thrust stopper portion 7 and the spring seat portion 6 are continuously formed integrally by folding a single material plate 3X, the respective members are individually separated as in the prior art. The work of assembling them with high accuracy after production becomes unnecessary. Thus, since welding for combining the respective members is not required, manufacturing work is facilitated, and further, generation of cracks and corrosion due to welding can be avoided, so that long-term reliability and strength durability are improved.

Further, the spring guide 3 is formed by folding the material plate 3X, and is processed like origami without any load such as expansion or contraction on the material plate 3X. Therefore, even the thick material plate 3X is processed with a low forming load. It is possible. In addition, since the material plate 3X is processed like origami without stretching or shrinking, a process such as re-striking or trimming is not necessary, and the tool cost and press working cost can be suppressed.

By the way, in order to prevent the thrust stopper portion 7 from being worn by rubbing with the leaf spring 2, a wear resistant plate formed of a material having higher wear resistance than the thrust stopper portion 7 in a plate shape is provided on the front flange 72 and the rear flange portion 7. It is attached by welding or the like across the flange 73. Since the thrust stopper portion 7 has a front flange 72 and a rear flange 73 and has a hat-shaped cross section, it has a structure in which a wear-resistant plate can be easily attached by welding or the like.

A wear-resistant plate is attached on the horizontal wall 63 of the spring seat portion 6 in order to prevent wear due to rubbing with the leaf spring 2. The spring seat portion 6 is required to have higher wear resistance than the thrust stopper portion 7, and it is necessary to be able to easily replace the wear-resistant plate that has been worn by repeated running. It is set as the structure assembled | attached on the horizontal wall 63 of the spring seat part 6 with this fastener.

FIG. 6 shows a structure in which a mounting seat 64 for mounting a wear-resistant plate is formed on the horizontal wall 63 of the spring seat portion 6 so that a part thereof is opened left and right. The spring guide 3a in FIG. 6 has the same configuration as that of the previous embodiment except for the mounting seat 64. A mounting hole 65 is formed in the mounting seat 64 for mounting the wear-resistant plate with a fastener such as a bolt and nut. The mounting seat 64 and the front flange 72, and the mounting seat 64 and the rear flange 73 may be welded to further increase the rigidity.

FIG. 7 is obtained by omitting the spring seat portion 6 from the first embodiment (the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 5). The spring guide 3b of FIG. 7 has the same configuration as that of the first embodiment except that the spring seat portion 6 is omitted. The lower portion of the connecting wall 71c is cut out, and the lower portions of the vertical walls 71a and 71b are axles. It becomes the base part 5 with which the housing 1 is mounted | worn, and there exists an effect similar to 1st embodiment.

FIG. 8 is obtained by omitting the front flange 72 and the rear flange 73 from the embodiment of FIG. The spring guide 3c of FIG. 8 has the same configuration as that of the embodiment of FIG. 7 except that the front flange 72 and the rear flange 73 are omitted, and has the same operational effects.

In each embodiment, the folded portions may be fixed by welding (spot welding or the like) to prevent them from opening. In spot welding, since the heating area is small, the heat effect on the base material is not so much of a problem.

Further, the spring guide according to the present invention is not limited to the one mounted on the RR axle housing for a large truck, but includes one mounted on the axle housing of another vehicle such as a bus or a construction machine vehicle.
