Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem on inefficiency in an air conditioning device that hot/cold air is directly distributed to the unnecessary direction and articles such as furniture, as a condition of an air conditioning area is not known.
SOLUTION: An ultrasonic sensor is loaded on this air conditioning device, an ultrasonic signal according to an input pulse burst electric signal is oscillated from the ultrasonic sensor by inputting the pulse burst electric signal to the ultrasonic sensor, the oscillated ultrasonic signal is reflected by an obstacle after arriving at the obstacle, and a part of the ultrasonic signal is returned to the same ultrasonic sensor. The ultrasonic sensor detects a distance to the obstacle on the basis of a reciprocation time by receiving a reflection signal. By using this principle, the condition of the air conditioning area such as a distance from the air conditioning device to a wall of the air conditioning area and the layout of the articles can be obtained, thus the air conditioning of high efficiency can be performed by properly controlling the wind direction and output.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to an air conditioner that performs air conditioning.

In an air conditioner apparatus according to a conventional embodiment, cooling, heating, and dehumidification are performed, but air conditioning is performed regardless of the size of the air-conditioned area and the presence of articles such as furniture. In this case, cooling / warming air is sent directly to unnecessary directions and articles, inefficient air conditioning is performed, and energy efficiency is lowered. Further, when the area to be air-conditioned in recent years is divided by a partition door or the like, the output cannot be flexibly switched, which is inefficient.
Tanikoshi Shinji “Ultrasound and its usage-Ultrasonic transducers and ultrasonic motors” Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun 1994

The problem to be solved is inefficiency in the air-conditioner apparatus according to the conventional embodiment, because the state of the air-conditioning area is not known, and cooling / warming air is sent directly to unnecessary directions and articles.

An ultrasonic sensor is installed in the air conditioner, and an ultrasonic signal corresponding to the input pulse burst electric signal is generated from the ultrasonic sensor by inputting a pulse burst electric signal to the ultrasonic sensor, and the generated ultrasonic signal After reaching the obstacle, it is reflected by the obstacle, and part of the ultrasonic signal returns to the same ultrasonic sensor. The ultrasonic sensor detects the distance to the obstacle from the round trip time by receiving the reflected signal. Using this principle, it is possible to grasp the condition of the air-conditioning area, such as the distance from the air-conditioner to the wall of the air-conditioning area and the arrangement of articles, and it is possible to perform efficient air conditioning by optimizing the wind direction and output.

The present invention has an advantage of performing efficient air conditioning by grasping the state of the air conditioning environment.

Efficient air conditioning by installing ultrasonic sensors directly or indirectly on the front, side, and bottom of the air conditioner, grasping the size of the air-conditioned area and the state of the goods, and optimizing the wind direction and output Can be realized.

FIG. 1 shows a schematic diagram of an air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, an ultrasonic sensor 2 a is mounted on an air conditioner housing 1, and it is fixed with the front facing or installed obliquely downward, and this can be used as a movable structure to scan the air conditioning area.
FIG. 2 shows a schematic diagram of an air conditioner according to an embodiment relating to another embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 2, the ultrasonic sensor 2a is mounted on the front surface of the air conditioner casing 1, the ultrasonic sensors 2b and 2c are mounted on the side surface, and 2d is mounted on the lower surface, so that an air-conditioning area in four directions can be detected.
FIG. 3 shows a schematic diagram of an installed state of the air conditioner according to the embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 3, an ultrasonic sensor 2a is mounted on the air conditioner housing 1 to detect the distance and position to the wall 4 on the opposite side of the air conditioner installation in the air conditioning area 3 and the article 5 that becomes an obstacle such as furniture or a table. FIG. In this case, the air-conditioning efficiency has been lowered due to the disturbance of the airflow by an obstacle. Further, the partition door 6 is indicated by a wavy line near the center of the air-conditioned area. The partition door 6 is sometimes opened and closed depending on the usage condition of the air conditioning area, and the size of the air conditioning area changes.

The present invention can be applied to general household and commercial air conditioners.
