Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fuel cell, and more particularly to an internal structure of a fuel cell.
The fuel cell has a structure in which an anode and a cathode are arranged with an electrolyte membrane interposed therebetween. When an anode gas containing hydrogen is brought into contact with the anode and a cathode gas containing oxygen such as air is brought into contact with the cathode, an electrochemical reaction occurs in both electrodes, and a voltage is generated between both electrodes.
Various structures have been proposed for such fuel cells. For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2004-273359 discloses a technique for integrating a porous metal body and a metal substrate by solid layer diffusion treatment. More specifically, according to this technique, heat treatment is performed at a high temperature for a predetermined time in a state where the metal porous body and the metal substrate are laminated and pressed, and solid-phase diffusion is caused to be bonded and integrated. . When this integrated porous body member is used as a reaction gas diffusion channel that also serves as a separator for a fuel cell, the contact resistance between the metal porous body and the metal separator is greatly reduced, so that it is possible to improve power generation efficiency. Become. Further, the number of parts constituting the fuel cell can be reduced, and the assembling property can be improved.
However, since the metal porous body has low strength, the shape of the metal porous body may be deformed when exposed to a high temperature by the above-described solid layer diffusion treatment. Therefore, instead of the solid layer diffusion treatment, a configuration in which the metal porous body and the metal separator are joined via an adhesive layer is conceivable. However, due to the nature of the porous body, a sufficient adhesion area cannot be secured, and the metal There is a possibility that peeling occurs at the interface between the porous body and the adhesive layer. For this reason, it has been difficult to stably join the porous metal body and the metal separator depending on the conventional technique described above.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and a fuel cell capable of improving the productivity of a fuel cell by integrating a porous channel and a separator, and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the first invention, the porous body channel and the separator are integrated by the adhesive force of the adhesive impregnated in the porous body channel. For this reason, according to this invention, the assembly | attachment property at the time of the production of a fuel cell can be improved.
Further, since there is a gap around the porous body flow path, there is a possibility that a part of the reaction gas flows laterally through the gap. According to the second or third aspect of the invention, since the adhesive is impregnated into the side of the porous body flow path along the main flow of the reaction gas, it is possible to suppress the reaction gas from flowing into the gap. Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In addition, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected to the element which is common in each figure, and the overlapping description is abbreviate | omitted. The present invention is not limited to the following embodiments.
Embodiment 1 FIG.
[Configuration of Embodiment 1]
FIG. 1 is a detailed cross-sectional view of a part of the
The
The
Further, the porous
Therefore, according to the above-described configuration, the cathode gas sent to the
Similarly, the
[Characteristic Configuration of Embodiment 1]
Next, a characteristic configuration of the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram showing a part of the
Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the
The
In this regard, in the
Further, the
In this regard, in the
By the way, in Embodiment 1 mentioned above, it is supposed that
Further, the resin to be impregnated may be disposed at a part of the outer edge of the
Moreover, in Embodiment 1 mentioned above, the rectangular-shaped porous
In the first embodiment, the
Others.
Next, with reference to FIG. 3, the structure of the fuel cell stack related to the present invention and the effects thereof will be described. In the
FIG. 3 is a detailed cross-sectional view of a part of the
The
