Abstract
【解決手段】フラット・パネル・ディスプレイ・アセンブリは、基板18と、基板に取り付けられた複数の発光部品28と、対向する凹面38及び凸面40を有する少なくとも1つの拡散部品32とを含む。拡散部品の各々は、凹面が複数の発光部品の少なくとも幾つかと凸面との間にあるよう基板に結合される。少なくとも1つの拡散部品は、複数の発光部品の少なくとも幾つかから放射された光を、拡散部品を通って伝播するときに拡散するように構成される。拡散層は、少なくとも1つの拡散部品の各々の凸面が凹面と拡散層との間にあるよう基板に結合され、少なくとも1つの拡散部品を通って伝播する光をさらに拡散するように構成される。

Claims (3)
- フラット・パネル・ディスプレイ・アセンブリ(10)であって、
基板(18)と
前記基板(18)に取り付けられた複数の発光部品(28)と、
対向する凹面及び凸面(38、40)を有する少なくとも1つの拡散部品(32)であって、前記凹面(38)が前記複数の発光部品(28)の少なくともいくつかと前記凸面(40)との間にあるよう、前記少なくとも1つの拡散部品の各々が前記基板(18)に結合され、前記少なくとも1つの拡散部品(32)は、前記複数の発光部品(28)の前記少なくともいくつかから放射された光を、該光が前記拡散部品を通って伝播するときに拡散するように構成されている、少なくとも1つの拡散部品(32)と、
拡散層(48)であって、前記少なくとも1つの拡散部品(32)の各々の前記凸面(40)が前記少なくとも1つの拡散部品(32)の各々の前記凹面(38)と前記拡散層(48)との間にあるよう、前記基板(18)に結合され、前記少なくとも1つの拡散部品(32)を通って伝播する光をさらに拡散するように構成されている、拡散層(48)と
を具備するフラット・パネル・ディスプレイ・アセンブリ(10)。 - 前記少なくとも1つの拡散部品(32)が実質的に均一な厚さ(34)を有し、前記少なくとも1つの拡散部品(32)が拡散材料を含み、前記拡散層(48)が拡散材料を含む請求項1記載のフラット・パネル・ディスプレイ・アセンブリ(10)。
- 液晶ディスプレイ(LCD)アセンブリ(10)であって、
プリント回路基板(PCB)(18)と、
前記PCB(18)に取り付けられた複数の発光ダイオード(LED)(28)と、
対向する凹面及び凸面(38、40)を有する複数の拡散部品(32)であって、前記凹面(38)が前記LED(28)の少なくとも1つと前記凸面(40)との間にあるよう、前記複数の拡散部品の各々が前記PCB(18)に結合され、前記複数の拡散部品(32)は、前記LED(28)の前記少なくとも1つから放射された光を、該光が前記拡散部品を通って伝播するときに拡散するように構成されている、複数の拡散部品(32)と、
拡散層(48)であって、前記複数の拡散部品(32)の各々の前記凸面(40)が前記複数の拡散部品(32)の各々の前記凹面(38)と前記拡散層(48)との間にあるよう、前記PCB(18)に結合され、前記複数の拡散部品(32)を通って伝播する光をさらに拡散するように構成されている、拡散層(48)と、
前記拡散層の、前記複数のLED(28)とは反対側の側面に配置され、前記拡散層(48)を通って伝播した後の前記光によって画像を生成するように構成されているLCDパネル(12)
とを具備するLCDアセンブリ(10)。
