Description

The present invention relates to a writing instrument in which a plurality of replaceable refills are inserted into a shaft tube, and a connecting member is disposed behind the refill, and examples of the refill include a ballpoint pen refill and a mechanical pencil unit. Is mentioned.

As an example, the rear shaft is joined so as to change the axis appropriately with respect to the front shaft, and a knock operation unit that houses a plurality of writing bodies in the shaft and is connected to the writing body reaches the vicinity of the rear end of the rear shaft. The writing part can be selectively protruded from the tip hole of the front shaft by projecting into the provided vertical groove and sliding the knock operation part toward the front of the shaft, and at least one of the writing bodies is fed out of the core or eraser. When projecting from the front shaft tip hole as a body, the rear shaft is shifted relative to the front shaft and the core or eraser is fed out. Further, the rear shaft is provided with a clip so that the shaft can be shifted and interlocked therewith. There is a dual-type writing instrument in which the locking state of the knocking operation portion of the writing body in the protruding state is released by moving the locking pin in the axial direction.
And the rear part of writing bodies, such as a ball-point pen and a mechanical pencil, is detachably press-fitted to the spherical engaging part formed in the knock operation part.
Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 5-12186.

The ink containing portion of the ballpoint pen as the writing body is generally formed by extrusion molding with a resin material such as polypropylene. However, in the case of a resin material such as polypropylene, there is a high risk that the spherical fastening portion will be plastically deformed over time. In other words, if plastic deformation occurs, the press-fit / fastening force decreases, and the cursive body falls off during the knocking operation, or it falls off when it is inserted into the pocket. There is a risk of dirtying the inside.

Accordingly, the present invention provides a writing instrument in which a plurality of replaceable refills are inserted into a shaft cylinder, and a connection member is detachably attached to the rear of the refill, and the refill is connected to a connection portion of the connection member. The gist is that protrusions to be combined are formed and the positions of the protrusions are different from each other in the longitudinal direction of the connecting portion and in the circumferential direction.

The present invention is a writing instrument in which a plurality of replaceable refills are inserted into a shaft tube, and a connection member is detachably attached to the rear of the refill, and the refill is engaged with a connection portion of the connection member. Since the protrusions are formed and the positions of the protrusions are made different with respect to the longitudinal direction and the circumferential direction of the connection portion, it is possible to provide a writing instrument in which the connection state between the connection member and the refill is good over time.

The operation will be described. The deformation of the refill generated by the rear protrusion in the longitudinal direction or the plastic deformation increases the attachment force between the protrusion formed in the front and the refill.
A first example will be described with reference to FIGS. This is a multi-core writing instrument in which a ballpoint pen refill consisting of two colors, black and red, is slidably arranged. You may combine not only a ball-point pen but a mechanical pencil unit suitably. Reference numeral 1 denotes a shaft main body, and the shaft main body 1 includes a front shaft 2 and a rear shaft 3. Further, in this example, the front shaft 2 is constituted by a screwed structure of the tip member 4 and the middle shaft 5, but may be formed integrally. However, considering the ease of exchanging the cursive and the molding described later, it is better to use two members and fix them detachably. In addition, a conical portion 4a whose diameter gradually decreases toward the distal end side is formed in the inner diameter portion of the tip member 4. A protruding hole 4b in which the cursive body appears and disappears is formed at the tip of the tip member 4.

The rear shaft 3 is formed with two slits 6 in the longitudinal direction. In this example, two slits 6 are formed, but the number of ball-point pen refills that are cursives is two, and the number of slits that are formed varies depending on the number of cursives. . The slit 6 is formed up to one end of the rear shaft 3, and sliding grooves 7 are formed on both sides of the slit 6. However, the sliding groove 7 is not formed over the entire length of both sides of the slit 6 but is formed only up to the middle portion.
In front of the rear shaft 3, a half-moon shaped leg portion 8 having a cross-sectional shape with an arcuate portion on the outside is formed at a facing position. The leg portion 8 is formed by forming the slit 6. Therefore, the number of legs 8 varies depending on the number of cursive letters. The circumscribed circle diameter of the leg portion 8 is formed smaller than the maximum outer diameter of the rear shaft 3.
Reference numeral 9 denotes a clip portion formed integrally with the rear shaft 3, but it may be formed of a separate member and fixed to the rear shaft 3. Reference numeral 10 denotes a ball portion formed on the front inner surface of the clip portion 9, and the ball portion 10 is in contact with the surface of the middle shaft 5.

A slider 11 made of a transparent or colored translucent material is slidably disposed in the slit 6 of the rear shaft 3. Sliding projections 12 are formed on both sides of the slider 11 in the longitudinal direction, and are slidably engaged with the sliding grooves 7 formed in the slit 6. Two release protrusions 13 and 14 are formed on the back surface of the slider 11 with a space therebetween, and a hole 11 a is formed in the longitudinal direction on the inner side in front of the slider 11. A flat surface portion 11b is formed on the inner surface of the hole 11a when viewed from the front, and an arcuate curved surface portion 11c is formed on the outer surface of the slider 11 corresponding to the flat surface portion 11b. The flat surface portion 11b formed on the inner surface and the curved surface portion 11c formed on the outer surface cause refraction of light and obtain a lens effect.
Then, one end portion (rear portion 15a) of the connecting member 15 having a color substantially the same as the color of the ink stored in the cursive body described later is detachably inserted into the hole 11a of the slider 11, A cylindrical ballpoint pen refill 16 made of a resin material such as polypropylene or nylon is connected to the other end portion (front portion 15b) of the joint member 15.
The ballpoint pen refill 16 includes an ink storage tube 16a formed by extrusion molding with a resin material such as polypropylene for storing ink, and a ballpoint pen tip 16b press-fitted in front of the ink storage tube 16a. .
Here, since the slider 11 is formed of a transparent or colored translucent material, the color of the connecting member 15 located inside the slider 11 can be easily identified. In addition, since the slider 11 has a flat surface portion 11b and a curved surface portion 11c, the color of the connecting member 15 can be more easily identified by the lens effect obtained thereby.

A large-diameter portion 15c is formed in the intermediate portion of the connecting member 15, and excessive insertion of the rear portion 15a into the hole 11a and excessive insertion of the front portion 15a into the writing body 16 are prevented. In addition, a circumferential fitting protrusion 15d is formed on the rear portion 15a of the connecting member 15 in order to improve the insertion and fitting of the slider 11 into the hole 11a, while the front portion 15b A plane portion 15e for air to enter the writing body 16 is formed. The flat portion 15e is formed in four directions with an angle of 90 degrees. That is, the cross-sectional shape of the front portion 15b of the connection member 15 is a square shape. Further, the four flat portions 15e are partially formed with protrusions 15f and 15g in order to obtain a good engagement / fitting force with the writing body 16, but the protrusions do not overlap each other. . That is, each of the protrusions 15f formed on the four plane portions 15e is formed at different positions with respect to the longitudinal direction and the circumferential direction. Specifically, the protrusions 15f are formed at the front facing positions. A projection 15g is formed on the rear side of the projection 15f so as to face the projection 15f at an angle of 90 degrees. The air penetrating the inside of the ballpoint pen refill 16 due to the consumption of the ink is ensured, and the writing body 16 made of a resin material is prevented from dropping from the connecting member 15 due to plastic deformation. In other words, the ball-point pen refill 16 bulges in an elliptical shape (bulged portion 16c) by the projection 15f formed at the front, and the portion with an angle of 90 degrees with the bulged portion by the projection 15g formed at the rear. A bulging portion 16d is also formed. That is, while the bulging direction and the 90-degree rotated direction are reduced in diameter, the inner surface of the writing body 16 bites into the protrusions 15f and 15g. The joint part becomes stronger (see FIGS. 15 and 16; the dotted line 16e in the figure is the inner shape of the original writing body 16).
The protrusions 15f and 15g have an arrow shape in cross section, but the insertion side of the protrusion 15f located on the front side to the ballpoint pen refill 16 is formed at an obtuse angle (α). The separation side is formed at an acute angle (β). Incidentally, in this example, the insertion side is formed at about 150 degrees and the separation side is formed at 70 degrees.
An extension portion 11 d that holds the outer diameter portion of the elastic member 17 is formed at the front end portion of the slider 11. The length between the extending portions 11d is formed slightly shorter than the outer diameter of the elastic member 17 so that the elastic member 17 is press-fitted into the extending portion 11d. That is, the elastic member 17 is prevented from being detached from the front end portion of the slider 11 when the ballpoint pen refill 16 is replaced. The insertion force (fitting force) of the slider 11 to the connection member 15 (rear part 15a) is set to be weaker than the insertion force (fitting force) of the ball pen refill 16 to the connection member 15 (front part 15b). That is, when the writing body 16 is to be detached from the slider 11, the writing pen 16 is detached from the slider 11 in a state where the ball-point pen refill 16 and the connection member 15 are connected.
Reference numeral 17 denotes an elastic member such as a coil spring that urges the ball pen refill 16 and the slider 11 connected to the ball pen refill 16 backward.

A restricting portion 18 is formed in an intermediate portion of the middle shaft 5 which is one member of the front shaft 2, and two through holes 19 into which the writing body 16 is loosely inserted are formed in the restricting portion 18. The ball-point pen refill 16 is urged backward by engaging one end of the elastic member 17 with the restricting portion 18. In addition, two grooves 20 are formed in the longitudinal direction inside the middle shaft 5 and behind the restricting portion 18, and the legs 8 of the rear shaft 3 are slidably contacted with the grooves 20. 8 is guided. Further, the groove portion 20 has substantially the same shape as the cross-sectional shape of the leg portion 8. That is, it has a half-moon shape having an arc portion on the outside.

A second example will be described with reference to FIGS. This is an example in which the slider of the first example is integrally formed with a connecting member. This will be specifically described below. A sliding projection 12 is formed on the rear side surface of the connecting member 21 having a function as a slider, and release projections 13 and 14 are formed on the rear surface. On the other hand, a flat portion 21 e for allowing air to enter the writing body 16 is formed in the front portion 21 b of the connecting member 21. The flat portion 21e is formed in four directions with an angle of 90 degrees. That is, the cross-sectional shape of the front portion 21b of the connecting member 21 is a square shape. Further, the four flat portions 21e are partially formed with protrusions 21f and 21g in order to obtain a good fitting force with the writing body 16, but the protrusions do not overlap each other. That is, each of the protrusions 21f formed on the four plane portions 21e is formed at different positions with respect to the longitudinal direction and the circumferential direction. Specifically, the protrusions 21f are formed at the front facing positions. A projection 21g is formed on the rear side of the projection 21f so as to face the projection 21f at an angle of 90 degrees.
By providing the connecting member with a slider function as in this example, the number of parts can be reduced, and man-hours for assembly can be reduced.

A third example will be described with reference to FIGS. It is a modification of the connecting member of the first example. This is an example in which the interval between the protrusions 22f and the protrusions 22g formed on the four flat portions 22e is reduced. Also in this example, the protrusions 22f and 22g formed on each flat portion 22e are formed in the longitudinal direction and at an angle of 90 degrees in the circumferential direction.
As shown in this example, by bringing the protrusion 22f and the protrusion 22g close to each other, the reduced diameter portion is closer to each other, so that the coupling force can be further strengthened.

A fourth example will be described with reference to FIGS. This is a modification of the sagittal projection in the first to third examples, and the sectional shape of the projection is hemispherical. Moreover, in this example, although the plane part 23e is formed, it is two surfaces which faced each other. An arc-shaped curved surface portion 23h is formed on the side surface of the flat portion 23e. A projection 23 is formed behind the flat surface portion 23e, and a projection 23f is also formed on the curved surface portion 23h. However, the protrusion 23g formed on the flat surface portion 23e and the protrusion 23f formed on the curved surface portion 23h are different in position in the longitudinal direction and the circumferential direction.
Since the stress is dispersed by making the cross-sectional shape of the protrusions 23f and 23g hemispherical as in this example, it is possible to prevent the writing body 16 (ink containing tube 16a) from cracking due to press-fitting.

A fifth example will be described with reference to FIGS. In this example, protrusions formed on the connection member 24 are formed on the inner surface of the connection member 24. This will be specifically described below. A hole 24 i is formed in the inner surface of the front portion 24 b of the connection member 24. Protrusions 24f and 24g are formed on the front and rear of the inner surface of the hole 24i. The protrusions 24f and 24g have different formation positions in the longitudinal direction and the circumferential direction.
By providing the protrusions 24f and 24g on the inner surface of the connecting member 24 as in this example, even if ink leaks from the rear part of the ballpoint pen refill 16 (ink containing tube 16a), the ink flows out of the product. Can be prevented as much as possible.
