Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a server client system in which a client terminal and a redundantly configured server are connected via a network, and more particularly to a technique for switching an active server connected to a client terminal.
In facilities such as tenant buildings, hotels, and hospitals, facility information is collected and managed by a facility management apparatus that performs facility management for each facility. In such a facility, in order to prevent data loss as much as possible, the facility management apparatus is duplicated and divided into an active system and a standby system, and the same information is recorded in both the active system and the standby system (for example, Patent Documents). 1).
In such a duplex configuration, when a server operating as a standby facility management apparatus detects an abnormality in a server operating as an active facility management apparatus, the control apparatus is configured to block communication of the active server. To request. When communication with the active server is interrupted, the server is disconnected from the network. Then, the standby server sets the operating IP address to itself and performs system switching, and thereafter operates as the operating system.
However, the duplex configuration disclosed in Patent Document 1 requires a control device and communication equipment for disconnecting the server from the network when an abnormality occurs in the active server, which complicates the system configuration. There was a problem that it took time and cost to install the.
In the duplex configuration disclosed in Patent Document 1, the server side can automatically switch between the standby system and the active system, but the client side newly authenticates by logging in to the server switched from the standby system to the active system. Must receive. In this case, since login to the server is triggered by a human operation, there is a problem in that it is not possible to switch the connection destination server when the client device is unattended. If the server at the connection destination cannot be switched, information cannot be transmitted to the client even if the server detects an abnormality. For example, if an important device abnormality occurs at night, a major problem occurs. there is a possibility.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and can reduce the labor and cost of installing the apparatus, and automatically operates the active server from the client side when an abnormality occurs in the active server.
The operation of the server client system according to this embodiment will be described below with reference to FIG. First, the
Next, the
If the authentication is OK (YES in step S2), the connection between the server 1A and the client terminal 2 is completed (step S3). If at least one of the user ID and the password does not match in step S2, authentication is NG, and the process returns to step S1 to log in again.

If the authentication is OK (YES in step S13), the connection between the server 1B and the client terminal 2 is completed (step S14). Thereafter, the server 1B becomes the active system, and the server 1A becomes the backup server. The server 1B performs the processing from step S4 onward in the same manner as the server 1A.
As described above, in the present embodiment, the client terminal acquires the backup server information from the active server in advance, and when an abnormality occurs in the connected active server, the connection login information is stored, Since we automatically log in to the backup server using the backup server information acquired in advance and the stored connection login information, even if the active server is unable to communicate for some reason, It is possible to automatically switch to a backup server without interrupting the system. Therefore, when the server functions as a facility management apparatus, it is possible to automatically and continuously monitor without interrupting monitoring. As a result, even if the client terminal becomes unattended at night, for example, the server can be switched automatically, so that even if an alarm occurs during an unattended time, it is possible to reliably notify the user of information. , Monitoring reliability can be improved.
Further, in this embodiment, since a control device and a communication device for disconnecting the active server from the network are unnecessary, the labor and cost of installing the device are reduced compared to the duplex configuration disclosed in Patent Document 1. be able to.
The servers 1A and 1B and the client terminal 2 according to the present embodiment can be realized by a computer having a CPU, a storage device, and an external interface.
