Abstract
Description
本出願は、米国特許出願第11/210,568号(2005年8月23日出願、「Positive Airway Pressure System and Method for Treatment of Sleeping Disorder in Patient」)の部分継続出願であり、該出願は、米国特許出願第10/642,459号(2003年8月14日出願、「Positive Airway Pressure System and Method for Treatment of Sleeping Disorder in Patient」)の継続であり、これらのすべての開示は本明細書において参照により特に援用される。
Claims (22)
- 患者の呼吸パターンに対応するデータを測定するセンサと、
該呼吸パターンがレム睡眠状態を示すかどうか判断するために、該呼吸パターンを分析する処理装置と
を備える、システム。 - 患者の気道に第1の圧力を有する気流を供給するジェネレータを、さらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の圧力はゼロである、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸パターンが前記レム睡眠状態を示す場合は、前記処理装置は前記気流を第2の圧力に調節する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の圧力は前記第1の圧力より高い、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記ジェネレータに結合され、前記患者の鼻と口とのうちの少なくとも1つを覆うマスクをさらに備える、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記マスクに結合され、呼気ガスの再呼吸を阻止する通気装置をさらに備える、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記レム睡眠状態を示す前記呼吸パターンは、(i)深呼吸の非存在、(ii)多呼吸数、(iii)低流速、(iv)浅呼吸の群発のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 患者の呼吸パターンに対応するデータを測定するセンサと、
該呼吸パターンが、(i)目覚め状態と、(ii)睡眠状態とのうちの1つの状態を示すかどうか判断するために、該呼吸パターンを分析する処理装置と
を備える、システム。 - 患者の気道に圧力を有する気流を供給するジェネレータを、さらに備える、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記圧力はゼロである、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸パターンが前記目覚め状態を示す場合は、前記処理装置は前記圧力を高める、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸パターンが前記睡眠状態を示す場合は、前記処理装置は前記圧力を下げる、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記処理装置は、前記呼吸パターンが前記睡眠状態を示す期間を判断する、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 患者の呼吸パターンに対応するデータを測定するセンサと、
該呼吸パターンが、(i)レム睡眠状態と、(ii)目覚め状態と、(iii)睡眠状態とのうちの1つの状態を示すかどうか判断するために、該データを分析するニューラルネットワークと
を備える、システム。 - 患者の気道に気流を供給し、圧力を印加するジェネレータと、
前記状態に応じて、該圧力を調節する処理装置と
をさらに備える、請求項15に記載のシステム。 - 前記圧力はゼロである、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸パターンが前記目覚め状態を示す場合は、前記処理装置は前記圧力を高める、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸パターンが前記睡眠状態を示す場合は、前記処理装置は前記圧力を下げる、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 患者の呼吸パターンに対応するデータを測定するセンサと、
該呼吸パターンが覚醒を示すかどうか判断するために、該データを分析する処理装置と
を備える、システム。 - 前記覚醒を示す前記呼吸パターンは、規則正しい呼吸期間の深呼吸を含む、請求項20に記載のシステム。
- 前記深呼吸は約3〜5秒の長さである、請求項21に記載のシステム。
