Abstract

Description
以下の説明において、本発明を実施する具体的な実施形態が参照される。他の実施形態が、本発明の範囲から逸脱することなく利用されてもよいことが理解される。
メモリ56はまた、検知された生理的信号から編集されたデータ、及び/又は、取り出し命令又は呼び掛け命令の受信によって、テレメトリ出力するデバイス動作履歴に関連するデータを記憶するのに使用されてもよい。これらの機能及び動作は全て、当該技術分野で知られており、デバイス動作を制御するため、また、後で取り出して、デバイス機能又は患者状況を診断するために、動作コマンド及びデータを記憶するのに使用される。本発明の一実施形態によれば、パラメータ値、1つ又は複数の警告トリガー条件を定義する限界又は範囲は、メモリ56に記憶され、警告レベルを検出するときにマイクロプロセッサ54によって使用されてもよい。
プログラム可能なプロセッサは、独立して、又は、連携して働くことができる1つ又は複数の個々のプロセッサを含んでもよい。「コンピュータ可読媒体」は、フロッピーディスク、従来のハードディスク、CR−ROM、フラッシュROM、不揮発性ROM、RAM、及び磁気記憶媒体又は光記憶媒体等の任意のタイプのコンピュータメモリを含むが、これらに限定されない。媒体は、プロセッサが、本発明に従って、エスケープレート変動(escape rate variation)セッションを開始するために上述した特徴のうちの任意の特徴を実施するようにさせる命令を含んでもよい。
Claims (19)
- 埋め込み可能医療デバイスシステム内のパラメータの状態を提供する方法であって、
前記パラメータを監視すること、
前記監視されるパラメータの警告レベルを検出すること、
前記埋め込み可能医療デバイスから外部モニタに前記検出された警告レベルに相当するデータを送信すること、
前記警告レベルデータ送信に応答して、後続の呼び掛けセッションを計画すること、及び、
前記後続の呼び掛けセッション中に、前記監視されるパラメータに相当する更新データを前記埋め込み可能医療デバイスから取り出すこと
を含む、パラメータの状態を提供する方法。 - 前記取り出された更新データに相当する情報を前記外部モニタ上に表示することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記取り出された更新データを遠隔患者管理データベースへ転送することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記後続の呼び掛けセッションを計画することは、前記遠隔患者管理データベースから前記外部モニタに計画要求を転送することを含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記監視されるパラメータに相当する前記取り出された更新データが、非警告レベルに相当するかどうかを判定することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記取り出された更新データが、非警告レベルに相当しないことに応答して、第2の後続の呼び掛けセッションを計画することをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記取り出された更新データが、非警告レベルに相当すると判定されることに応答して、前記監視されるパラメータが、前記警告レベルにもはや相当しないことを指示する情報を表示することをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記監視されるパラメータに相当する前記更新データが、所定の時間間隔の間、非警告レベルに相当するかどうかを判定することをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記後続の呼び掛けセッションを計画することは、一連の後続の呼び掛けセッションを計画することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記監視されるパラメータに相当する前記取り出された更新データが、非警告レベルに相当するかどうかを判定すること、及び
前記取り出された更新データが、非警告レベルに相当することに応答して、任意の保留中の計画された後続の呼び掛けセッションを取り消すこと
をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 前記埋め込み可能医療デバイスによって監視される前記パラメータは、生理的パラメータを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記埋め込み可能医療デバイスによって監視される前記生理的パラメータは、流体状態を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 埋め込み可能医療デバイスシステムであって、
生理的パラメータに相当する信号を検知する埋め込み可能センサと、
前記センサに結合される、前記センサ信号を受信すると共に該センサ信号に基づいて前記生理的パラメータの警告レベルを検出するプロセッサと、
前記プロセッサに結合される、該プロセッサが前記警告レベルを検出することに応答して、前記生理的パラメータに相当するデータを送信するデバイステレメトリ回路と、
前記デバイステレメトリ回路と通信するようになっている、前記送信データを受信する外部テレメトリ回路と、
前記外部テレメトリ回路に結合される、該外部テレメトリ回路と前記デバイステレメトリ回路との間の通信によって、前記生理的パラメータに相当する更新値を前記プロセッサから取り出す後続の呼び掛けセッションを計画する外部制御システムと
を備える、埋め込み可能医療デバイスシステム。 - 前記生理的パラメータに相当する情報を表示する外部ディスプレイをさらに備える、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 遠隔患者管理データベースと、
通信ネットワークと、
前記通信ネットワークに結合される、前記監視される生理的パラメータに相当する前記外部テレメトリ回路によって受信される情報を、前記遠隔患者管理データベースに転送する外部通信モジュールと

前記外部モニタによって開始される後続の呼び掛けセッションを計画することであって、前記生理的パラメータ警告信号が受信された後に、更新された生理的パラメータデータを取り出す、後続の呼び掛けセッションを計画すること、及び
前記計画された後続の呼び掛けセッション中に、更新された生理的パラメータ値を取り出すこと
を含む方法を実施するコンピュータ実行可能命令を有するコンピュータ可読媒体。 - 前記方法は、前記更新された生理的パラメータ値に相当するデータを表示することをさらに含む、請求項17に記載のコンピュータ可読媒体。
