Abstract
Description
本発明は、吸収性外科用材料に関し、より具体的にはフィラメントなどの吸収性金属外科用材料に関する。
吸収性材料は様々な用途で当該分野において公知であり、特に吸収性材料が医療目的のために生体内に埋め込まれる用途が公知である。そのような材料は、治癒中に所望の位置で組織を一時的に保持し、一定期間後に有機体によって吸収されるために有用である。
本開示は、外科用フィラメントおよび前記フィラメントを使用する方法を提供する。前記外科用フィラメントは、いかなる悪影響もなく、人体内で溶解する金属材料の組み合わせを含む。前記フィラメントを使用する方法は、創傷を囲む組織を近接させるステップと、前記近接した組織へ本明細書において記載される外科用フィラメントを取り付けるステップとを含む。
本開示は、インプラントを装着する人へのいかなる悪影響もなく、人体内で溶解する金属材料の組み合わせを含む外科用フィラメントを提供する。金属材料の組み合わせは、外科用フィラメントの材料が特定の分解速度で、そして生体不適合性分解生成物の生成なしに溶解するように設計される。この種類の外科用フィラメントは、金属外科用フィラメントの有利な機械的性質を、非金属の外科用フィラメントまたは高分子ベースの外科用フィラメントの生体吸収性と組み合わせる。
Claims (23)
- 人体内で溶解する金属材料の組み合わせを含む少なくとも一つのフィラメントを備える、医療機器。
- 前記金属材料の組み合わせは、保護不動態化膜を形成する第一の成分および合金の十分な腐食を確実にする第二の成分から構成される金属合金である、請求項1に記載の医療機器。
- 前記第一の成分はマグネシウム、チタン、ジルコニウム、ニオブ、タンタル、亜鉛およびケイ素からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの金属を含む、請求項2に記載の医療機器。
- 前記第二の成分はリチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、マンガン、カルシウム及び鉄からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの金属である、請求項2に記載の医療機器。
- 前記金属合金はマグネシウムを含有する、請求項2に記載の医療機器。
- 前記金属合金はマグネシウム−ナトリウム合金である、請求項2に記載の医療機器。
- 組織接着剤、組織封止剤および薬剤からなる群から選択される追加成分をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の医療機器。
- 前記医療機器は縫合糸である、請求項1に記載の医療機器。
- 前記医療機器はマルチフィラメント縫合糸である、請求項1に記載の医療機器。
- 少なくとも一つの高分子フィラメントをさらに含む、請求項9に記載のマルチフィラメント縫合糸。
- 前記少なくとも一つの高分子フィラメントは生体吸収性である、請求項10に記載のマルチフィラメント縫合糸。
- 編組された構成において少なくとも第一の外科用フィラメントおよび第二の外科用フィラメントを含む外科用糸であって、該第一の外科用フィラメントおよび第二の外科用フィラメントの少なくとも一つは請求項1に記載の外科用フィラメントを含み、
任意に、該第二の外科用フィラメントは請求項1に記載の前記外科用フィラメントと異種の吸収性または非吸収性材料を含む、外科用糸。 - 編組された構成において少なくとも第一の外科用糸および第二の外科用糸を含む外科用ブレードであって、該第一の外科用糸および第二の外科用糸の少なくとも一つは請求項12に記載の外科用糸を含み、
任意に、該第二の外科用糸は、請求項12に記載の糸と異種の吸収性または非吸収性の外科用フィラメントを含む、外科用ブレード。 - 編組された構成において少なくとも第一の外科用フィラメントおよび第二の外科用フィラメントを含む外科用糸であって、該第一の外科用フィラメントは請求項1に記載の外科用フィラメントを含み、
該第二の外科用フィラメントは請求項1に記載の異種金属外科用フィラメントを含む、外科用糸。 - 前記二つの異種金属フィラメントは、創傷治癒過程を促進するため、腐食中に電流を生成するように選ばれる、請求項14に記載の外科用糸。
- 二つの組織表面を近接させるステップと、
請求項1に記載の医療機器を使用して前記組織表面を固定するステップと、を含む、創傷を閉鎖する方法。 - 固定され近接した組織への、組織接着剤、組織封止剤および薬剤からなる群から選択される追加成分を塗布するステップをさらに含む、請求項16の創傷を閉鎖する方法。

- 前記第一の成分は、マグネシウム、チタン、ジルコニウム、ニオブ、タンタル、亜鉛およびケイ素からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの金属である、請求項18に記載の外科用針。
- 前記第二の成分は、リチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、マンガン、カルシウムおよび鉄からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの金属である、請求項18に記載の外科用針。
- 前記金属合金はマグネシウムを含有する、請求項18に記載の外科用針。
- 前記金属合金は、マグネシウム−ナトリウム合金である、請求項18に記載の外科用針。
