By the way, the above-mentioned protective sheet mainly composed of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is rich in flexibility, very easy to adapt to the object to be protected, and is not widely damaged because the flexibility is not impaired even at low temperatures. It is used.
However, such a protective sheet uses a low-mass sheet material, and air is present between the laminated sheet portions, so that the structure for preventing combustion is insufficient. Furthermore, when the protective sheet is contaminated with flying objects, there is a risk that it may ignite due to a ground fault and lead to a burnout accident.

There is no limitation on the apparatus and method for calendering, and the calendering is performed by a known method using a known calender molding machine. At this time, the protective sheet is preferably formed into a three-layer laminated sheet, and each laminated sheet portion is colored in a different color so that the degree of wear can be properly detected. Examples of the colorant include titanium white, zinc white, petal, vermilion, ultramarine, titanium yellow, yellow lead, carbon black, and other inorganic pigments, isoindolinone, Hansaero A, quinacridone, permanent red 4R, phthalocyanine. An organic pigment such as blue or aniline black (or a dye) is used. Further, the protective sheet is formed to have a required thickness and size as appropriate according to the application, for example, 2 mm and a size of 75 cm × 60 cm, 75 cm × 38 cm, or 38 cm × 37.5 cm.

In the embodiment configured as described above, the overhead distribution line 5 having a complicated shape such as the vicinity of the high-voltage edge supporting support insulator or the periphery of the transformer is wound around in a covering state to be protected.
For example, as shown in FIG. 2, in the vicinity of the high-pressure pin insulator 7 that supports the overhead distribution line (not shown) with the wire protection tube 6, the protection sheet 1 is placed along the outer peripheral surface of the wire protection tube 6. After winding from one end to the other end and covering the head of the high-voltage pin insulator 7 together with the overhead distribution line, the fixing tape 9 is wound and fixed to securely protect the overhead distribution line. At this time, the protective sheet 1 is calendered into a laminated sheet with a flame-retardant polyethylene resin to which a softening agent is added. Not only can it be carried out very easily and reliably, it also has a restoring property, and as a result, the protective sheet 1 can be used for reuse, which is very economical. Further, the protective sheet 1 is excellent in flame retardancy and wear resistance, and not only can effectively exert the function as the protective sheet 1, but even if it is worn, the surface sheet portion 2. The intermediate sheet 3 and the back sheet 4 are colored differently so that the degree of wear can be easily detected and the protective sheet
It is possible to effectively prevent the loss of the protective function due to wear of the G1.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, the protective sheet 1 is provided with a tension insulator at a location where the retention clamp portion of the overhead distribution line 5 with the wire protection tube 6 is covered with a retention clamp cover (not shown). After being wound around the tension clamp cover together with a part of 8, the fixing tape 9 is wound and fixed to securely protect the overhead distribution line 5.
At this time, similar to the above-described example of use, the protective sheet 1 can be wound easily and surely, and the same effect can be obtained.
