Description

The present invention relates to an electric water heater.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an electric water heater has been proposed in which an operation board accommodated in a casing is disposed from a back side of a shoulder body in a recess opened at the lower side of the shoulder body.

However, after the electric water heater is washed and turned over to dry, the liquid flowing from the slit of the discharge part and the side of the inner container from the outlet formed in the casing to take out the lead wire connected to the operation board However, there is a problem that the operation board is damaged by being immersed in the casing.

In view of this, an electric water heater has been proposed in which an operation substrate and a frame body are arranged in this order from the front side of the shoulder body into a recess opened above the shoulder body to cover the operation panel.

In this electric water heater, when inverted, the liquid flowing from the slit of the discharge part and the side surface of the inner container is submerged in the concave part from the outlet for taking out the lead wire from the concave part of the shoulder body. There was a problem of damaging the substrate.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional problems, and the liquid flowing from the slit of the discharge unit or the side surface of the inner container is removed from the lead wire even if it is turned over for drying after washing. It is an object of the present invention to provide an electric water heater that can prevent the operation substrate from being damaged by being immersed in the recess.

As means for solving the above problems, an electric water heater according to the present invention includes a main body, an inner container that is provided in the main body and contains a liquid, and a shoulder body that is provided at an upper end opening edge of the inner container, A pump pipe extending from the bottom of the inner container to the discharge part for discharging the liquid through a valve member, and a lead wire extending from the operation board disposed in the recess of the shoulder body is provided on the bottom surface of the recess. In the electric water heater to be taken out from the provided outlet, a rib surrounding the outlet is provided on the back surface of the shoulder body.

By providing a rib that surrounds the outlet, even if the electric water heater is turned upside down, even if the liquid flows from the slit of the discharge part or the side of the inner container, the liquid is immersed in the recess from the outlet and operated. It is possible to prevent the substrate from being damaged.

As a specific means, the rib is provided between the outlet and the discharge part, and the liquid leaking from the slit of the discharge part flows into the outlet while the water heater is inverted. A first rib for preventing this, and a second rib provided between the outlet and the inner container for preventing liquid transmitted from the inner container from flowing into the outlet when the water heater is turned upside down And are preferably provided.

By providing the first rib, it is possible to prevent the liquid leaking from the slit of the discharge portion from flowing into the recess from the outlet when the water heater is inverted. By providing the second rib, it is possible to prevent the liquid transmitted from the inner container from flowing into the recess from the outlet when the water heater is inverted. As described above, even if the water heater is turned upside down, the liquid can be prevented from flowing into the recess from the outlet, and the operation substrate can be prevented from being damaged.

It is preferable that a first notch is provided between the first rib and the second rib, and a second notch for inserting the lead wire is provided at an end of the second rib.

By providing the first notch portion between the first rib and the second rib, when the water heater is turned upside down, the liquid transmitted from the inner container flows out from the second notch portion, Even if it collects between the first rib surrounding the outlet, it can be drained from the first notch to the outside of the first rib.

The first rib is preferably higher than the standing wall of the outlet, and the standing wall is preferably higher than the bottom of the first notch.

Since the first rib is higher than the standing wall of the outlet, liquid can be effectively prevented from entering the outlet. Since the standing wall is higher than the bottom of the first notch, the liquid can be drained to the outside of the first rib even if the liquid accumulates between the outlet and the first rib.

It is preferable to further include waterproof means that engages with the standing wall of the outlet and covers the outlet.

Since the waterproof means engages with the standing wall of the outlet and covers the outlet, even if the liquid is submerged from the first rib and reaches the outlet, it can be prevented from entering the recess from the outlet.

It is preferable that the valve member having the discharge part is installed with a gap with the waterproof means, and the gap is shorter than the standing wall of the outlet.

Since the gap between the valve member and the waterproof means is shorter than the standing wall of the outlet, the waterproof means is fixed by the valve member without detaching from the outlet.

It is preferable that waterproof means that engages with the standing wall of the outlet and covers the outlet is formed integrally with the valve member having the discharge portion.

By integrally forming the waterproof means on the valve member, the manufacturing cost can be reduced as compared with the case where the waterproof means is formed as a separate part.

According to the present invention, since the rib surrounding the outlet is provided, even when the electric water heater is turned upside down, even if the liquid flows from the slit of the discharge portion or the side surface of the inner container, the liquid is discharged from the outlet into the recess. It is possible to prevent the operation substrate from being damaged by being immersed in the water.

Further, a first notch 41 is provided behind the first rib 38, and the standing wall 37 is S 2 higher than the bottom of the first notch 41. A second rib 42 extending downward is provided between the outlet 36 and the inner container 17, and a second cutout portion 43 through which the lead wire 34 is inserted is formed in the second rib 42. .

Referring to FIG. 5, a sealing member 44 that is waterproof means is fixed so as to engage with the standing wall 37 and cover the outlet 36 from below. The seal member 44 includes an engaging portion 46 that engages with the standing wall 37, and a fixing portion 48 that extends outward from the engaging portion 46 and has a hole 47. An insertion port 49 through which the lead wire 34 is inserted is formed on the side surface of the engaging portion 46. The seal member 44 is fixed to the seal member mounting leg 51 of the shoulder body 18 via a screw (not shown) that passes through the hole 47.

With reference to FIGS. 6 and 7B, the valve member 23 having the discharge portion 24 is fixed to the lower side of the seal member 44. The valve member 23 has a connection part 52 connected to the pumping pipe 26, and has a known shape that prevents liquid in the inner container 17 from passing through the pumping pipe 26 and discharging the liquid from the discharge part 24 when it falls down. is there. The valve member 23 is fixed to the valve member mounting leg 54 of the shoulder body 18 with a distance S3 from the lower surface of the seal member 44 via a screw (not shown) that passes through the hole 53. The discharge part 24 provided in front of the valve member 23 extends downward, and a slit 57 extending in the vertical direction is formed in the peripheral wall 56. The slit 57 reduces the suction force in order to prevent hot water from being sucked out and causing burns when a child accidentally sucks the discharge portion 24.

Next, the operation of the electric water heater 11 having the above configuration will be described.

First, when the lid 14 is opened and liquid is poured into the inner container 17 and the power is turned on, the liquid is heated by the heater 19 and the heat retaining heater 21 and is kept at a predetermined temperature when boiling. Further, when the hot water supply switch 35 a is pressed, the hot water supply pump 22 is driven, and the liquid in the inner container 17 that has been boiled or kept warm is discharged from the discharge portion 24 through the pumping pipe 26 and the valve member 23.

When the electric water heater 11 is washed and then turned upside down for drying, the liquid in the valve member 23 leaks from the lower end portion 58 of the slit 57 of the discharge portion 24 in the A direction or the B direction (see FIG. 4). However, by providing the first rib 38, the liquid can be prevented from flowing into the recess 28 from the outlet 36.

Further, when the electric water heater 11 is washed and then turned upside down, the liquid submerged from the screw hole (not shown) at the bottom of the main body 12 is transmitted to the side surface of the inner container 17 in the direction E (see FIG. 7), and the back surface of the shoulder body 18. Flows in the C direction (see FIG. 4). However, by providing the second rib 42, it is possible to prevent the liquid transmitted from the inner container 17 from flowing into the recess 28 from the outlet 36. Accordingly, even if the electric water heater 11 is turned upside down, the liquid can be prevented from flowing into the recess 28 and the operation substrate 31 can be prevented from being damaged.

Further, by providing the first notch portion 41 between the first rib 38 and the second rib 42, the liquid transmitted from the inner container 17 is transferred from the second notch portion 43 when the water heater 11 is inverted. Even if it flows out and accumulates between the outlet 36 and the first rib 38 surrounding the outlet 36, it can be drained from the first notch 41 to the outside of the first rib 38.

Since the first rib 38 is higher than the standing wall 37 of the take-out port 36, water can be effectively prevented from entering the take-out port 36. In addition, since the standing wall 37 is higher than the bottom of the first notch 41, even if liquid accumulates between the first rib 38 and the outlet 36, the liquid can be drained to the outside of the first rib 38.

Since the sealing member 44 engages with the upright wall 37 of the outlet 36 to cover the outlet 36, even if the liquid is submerged from the first rib 38 and reaches the outlet 36, the water is immersed in the recess 28 from the outlet 36. Can be prevented

Since the gap S <b> 3 between the valve member 23 and the seal member 44 is shorter than the standing wall 37 of the outlet 36, the seal member 44 is fixed without being detached from the outlet 36 by the valve member 23.

By integrally molding the seal member 44 with the valve member 23, the manufacturing cost can be reduced as compared with the case where the seal member 44 is formed as a separate part.

In addition, the electric water heater 11 of this invention is not limited to the said embodiment, A various deformation | transformation is possible.

The shape of the first rib 38 is not particularly limited as long as the liquid leaking from the slit 57 of the discharge unit 24 can be prevented from flowing into the outlet 36 when the electric water heater 11 is inverted.

The shape of the second rib 42 is not particularly limited as long as the liquid transmitted from the inner container 17 can be prevented from flowing into the outlet 36 when the electric water heater 11 is inverted.
