引出し操作レバー22の揺動操作を、例えば、針板6近傍のミシンベッド5の先端上壁面でかかる引出し操作レバー22の揺動操作を行い得るようにした場合には針3が多数本設置されていると障害になる問題が生じるが、上記実施例では引出し操作レバー22の揺動操作をミシンベッド5の先端側壁面5Sに近傍の前側外部で行うようにしてあるので、かかる問題を解消できて有利である。
なお、図7に示すように、立振りルーパー7が引出された状態では立振りルーパー台10のピン受15が当接するストッパー27が、ミシンベッド5の内底に設けられている。

前記立振りルーパーを前記所定の揺動範囲内に位置保持するロック機構と、前記立振りルーパーを前記所定の揺動範囲内から逸脱する引出し位置にまで引出すルーパー引出し機構とを備えており、
前記ルーパー引出し機構は、前記立振りルーパーを前記立振りルーパー台ごと前記立振りルーパー駆動軸回りに常に前記引出し位置の方向に揺動付勢するルーパー引出し用ばね部材を含んでおり、
