Description

The present invention relates to a vertically movable handrail, and more particularly to a vertically movable handrail for use in assisting physically weak persons such as elderly people in places such as a toilet.

Conventionally, handrails have been installed to support the user's body in toilets, etc., but there are often no areas in the toilet, and it is often inconvenient to install handrails that protrude from the wall. Therefore, a handrail that can be stored by being rotated to the wall surface side is used. In particular, a vertically movable handrail that rotates in the vertical direction is often used because a space required for the rotation can be made small.

As such a vertically movable handrail, a support member composed of a base fixed to a wall surface and a pair of support pieces erected and fixed to the base surface by welding or the like, and a substantially U-shaped pipe member whose tip is arc-shaped A handrail body, a bracket for fixing and holding the upper and lower base ends of the handrail body, a rotating shaft that is fixedly passed through the bracket and pivotally attached to both support pieces, and one end portion of the rotating shaft. A spiral spring that is engaged and biases a restoring elasticity in the lifting direction to the handrail when the handrail is lowered, and a disk damper that is engaged with the other end of the rotating shaft and brakes the rotation of the rotating shaft. A vertically movable handrail is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

Further, in this type of vertically movable handrail, in order to achieve stability in the standing position when not in use, a magnet and a magnetic plate that can be attracted to each other are provided at opposite portions of the bracket and the support member.
JP 2001-220876 A (paragraphs 0010 to 0012, 0016, 0017, FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 10)

However, since the upper and lower base end portions of the handrail body are not parallel and inclined, the base end portion of the handrail body cannot be fitted and attached to the bracket. It is necessary to divide the handrail into two parts and fix it by welding or the like. Therefore, there are problems that the number of constituent members increases and the assembly is troublesome. In addition, since a large load is applied to the handrail during use, there is a concern that an excessive load is applied to the contact portion between the base surface of the support member and the base end surface of the bracket and the support member is deformed. Therefore, the support member and the bracket are formed of members having high strength resistance, for example, stainless steel members.

Further, in this type of vertically movable handrail, it is necessary to devise a safety aspect so that a finger is not caught between the support member and the bracket when the handrail is rotated.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and is capable of stably maintaining the posture of the handrail body in a use state, enabling easy assembly work, and safety aspects when the handrail body is rotated. It is an object to provide a vertically movable handrail in consideration of the above.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the invention according to claim 1 is a handrail that is formed to be rotatable between a horizontal position when in use and a standing position when not in use, and can be stopped at the horizontal position and the standing position. A vertically movable handrail comprising a body, a support member comprising a base fixed to a wall surface, a pair of support pieces projecting from an intermediate portion of the base, and a bracket for fixing and holding a base end portion of the handrail body A rotating shaft that is fixedly penetrated by the bracket and pivotally attached to both support pieces of the support member, and is attached and locked to the upper end of the base between the two support pieces of the support member, A concave arc part that is attached and is rotatable with the upper end corner of the bracket when the handrail is rotated leaving a slight gap, and the bracket in use when connected to the lower part of the concave arc part. Base end face of Characterized by comprising a position regulating member having a contactable flat bulged portion.

With this configuration, in the horizontal position during use, the base end surface of the bracket that fixes and holds the handrail body is in the flat bulging portion of the position restricting member attached to the base surface between the support pieces of the support member. By contacting, it is possible to receive a load related to the handrail body.

In addition, by providing the position restricting member with a concave arc portion that allows the upper end corner of the bracket to rotate with a slight gap when the handrail rotates, the user can turn the handrail when rotating the handrail. There is no risk of a finger being caught between the support member and the bracket. In this case, the entry of the child's finger can be prevented by setting the gap between the upper end corner portion of the bracket and the arcuate recess when the handrail is rotated to 4 mm or less, for example.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the vertically movable handrail according to the first aspect, a magnet receiver is provided on the upper end surface of the bracket, the magnet is fixed to the magnet receiver, and the concave arc portion of the position restricting member is formed. It is characterized in that a fitting groove portion is provided in a horizontal connection, and a magnetic plate that can be attracted to the magnet is fitted and fixed to the fitting groove portion.

By comprising in this way, the attachment of the magnet and magnetic plate which stabilize the standing position of the handrail body at the time of non-use can be made easy and reliable.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the longitudinally movable handrail according to the first or second aspect, the support member and the position regulating member are formed of an extruded aluminum material. Here, aluminum is meant to include an aluminum alloy.

By comprising in this way, manufacture of a support member can be made easier compared with the structure which welds a base and a support piece, and it can be reduced in weight, and is added to a support member. A member having a function of restricting the position of the handrail can be easily manufactured.

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, the longitudinally movable handrail according to any one of the first to third aspects further includes a cover member that can be attached to both sides of the base of the support member and outward of the support piece. The cover member includes one outward projecting portion of the base of the support member, a substantially triangular top plate portion and a bottom plate portion covering the upper end and the lower end of the support piece, and the top plate portion and the bottom plate portion. A slanted side surface portion, and at one end of the slanted side surface portion, there is a locking claw that can be engaged with a locking claw piece protruding from both side edges of the base, and the other end of the supporting piece. It is formed by the synthetic resin member which has a latching groove part engageable with the latching step part formed in the front-end | tip of this.

By comprising in this way, the base member both sides of a support member and the up-and-down opening part and side part opening part of the outer side of a support piece can be easily coat | covered with a cover member. Accordingly, the protruding portion of the rotating shaft pivotally attached to the support piece can be blinded from the outside. For example, the spring member that is engaged with the protruding portion of the rotating shaft and biases the restoring elasticity in the lifting direction to the handrail body. For example, a spiral spring or a braking member that brakes the rotation of the rotating shaft, such as a disk damper, can be hidden from the outside.

By configuring as described above, the following effects can be obtained.

(1) According to invention of Claim 1, the base end surface of the bracket which fixes and holds a handrail body contact | abuts the flat swelling part of the position control member attached to the base surface between the support pieces of a support member. Thus, since the load related to the handrail body can be received, the horizontal posture of the handrail body during use can be stabilized, and the strength against the load applied to the handrail body can be given and deformation can be prevented.

In addition, when the handrail is rotated, there is no possibility that the user may pinch a finger between the support member and the bracket, so that the safety aspect can be maintained.

(2) According to the invention described in claim 2, since it is possible to easily and reliably attach the magnet and the magnetic plate for stabilizing the standing position of the handrail when not in use, in addition to the above (1) Furthermore, stabilization of the standing position of the handrail when not in use can be facilitated.

(3) According to the invention described in claim 3, in addition to the above (1) and (2), it is possible to make the support member easier to manufacture than the structure in which the base and the support piece are welded together. In addition, the weight can be reduced, and a member having a function of restricting the position of the handrail added to the support member can be easily manufactured.

(4) According to invention of Claim 4, the protrusion part of the rotating shaft pivotally attached to the support piece can be blinded from the outside, for example, on the handrail body engaged with the protruding part of the rotating shaft. A spring member (spiral spring) for biasing the restoring elasticity in the lifting direction, a braking member (disk damper) for braking the rotation of the rotating shaft, and the like can be hidden from the outside. Therefore, in addition to the above (1) to (3), the aesthetic appearance can be further improved, and the user's hand and clothes can be prevented from being caught.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, the best embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Here, the case where the vertically movable handrail according to the present invention is applied to a toilet will be described.

FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view showing a use state when the vertically movable handrail according to the present invention is attached to a toilet, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view (a) showing a part of the use state of the vertically movable handrail in cross section. FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing the main part in cross section, and FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a state when the vertical movable handrail is not used (stored).

The vertical movable handrail H (hereinafter simply referred to as the handrail H) includes a support member 10 including a base 11 fixed to the wall surface 1 and a pair of support pieces 12 facing each other in parallel, a horizontal position in use, A tip portion that is formed so as to be rotatable between a standing position when not in use and can be stopped at the horizontal position and the standing position is an arcuate substantially U-shaped handrail body 20 and upper and lower base end portions of the handrail body 20. A bracket 30 for fixing and holding 21 and 22; a rotary shaft 40 which is fixedly passed through the bracket 30 and is pivotally attached to both support pieces 12; and a position regulating member which regulates the horizontal posture of the handrail 20 during use. 50.

In this case, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 10, the handrail body 20 is formed of a hollow cylindrical pipe member 20b whose outer periphery is covered with, for example, a synthetic resin member 20a, and has a substantially semicircular arc shape at the tip. While being bent into a substantially U shape having a portion 23, the base end side is provided with a lower base end portion 22 in proximity to and parallel to the upper base end portion 21. That is, the base end side of the lower portion 24b with respect to the upper base end portion 21 extending to the upper portion 24a in the upper portion 24a and the lower portion 24b of the substantially U-shaped handrail main body 24 constituting the main portion of the handrail body 20. A lower base end portion 22 is provided adjacent to and parallel to the upper base end portion 21 through an inclined portion 24c inclined from the upper portion 24a toward the upper portion 24a.

In addition, for example, an iron rectangular block-shaped reinforcing member 25 is inserted into the hollow portion of the upper base end portion 21 of the handrail body 20 (see FIGS. 11 and 12). The reinforcing member 25 is inserted so as to be substantially inscribed in the hollow portion of the upper base end portion 21. As shown in FIGS. 5, 6, 8, and 10, the reinforcing member 25 is provided with a fitting insertion hole 25 a of the rotating shaft 40 on the base end side, and the fitting insertion hole 25 a from the base end surface. A fixing screw hole 25b is engraved toward the end. In addition, locking screw holes 25c are formed at two positions on the insertion side of the reinforcing member 25, and the bracket 30 is inserted in the state where the reinforcing member 25 is inserted into the upper base end portion 21 of the handrail body 20. Further, the reinforcing member 25 is fixed in the upper base end portion 21 of the handrail body 20 by screwing the fixing screw 26 penetrating the upper base end portion 21 into the locking screw hole 25c. The reinforcing member 25 is formed to have a length protruding from the bracket 30 in the attached state. Further, by providing the fixing screw hole 25b from the base end surface of the reinforcing member 25 toward the fitting hole 25a, the flat surface 41 provided in the intermediate portion of the rotating shaft 40 to be fitted into the fitting hole 25a. The reinforcing member 25 and the rotary shaft 40 can be fixed by pressing a push screw 27 made of, for example, a screw, which is screwed into the fixing screw hole 25b.

Further, for example, a rectangular block-shaped contact plate member 28 made of iron is inserted into the hollow portion of the lower base end portion 22 of the handrail body 20 (see FIGS. 11 and 12). Since the strength of the contact plate member 28 may be smaller than that of the reinforcing member 25, the contact plate member 28 is formed to be small. Locking screw holes 28a are formed at two locations on both ends, and the contact plate member 28 is In the state inserted in the upper side base end part 21 of the handrail 20, the fixing screw 26 penetrating the bracket 30 and the lower side base end part 22 is screwed into the locking screw hole 28a, so that the contact plate member 28 is engaged. Is fixed in the upper base end portion 21 of the handrail body 20.

Before assembling the handrail H, the reinforcing member 25 and the contact plate member 28 are inserted and fixed in the hollow portions of the upper and lower base end portions 21 and 22 of the handrail body 20. And it was provided in the through-hole 10a provided in the support member 10 mentioned later, the through-hole 30a provided in the bracket 30, the through-hole 21a provided in the upper side base end part 21 of the handrail body 20, and the reinforcement member 25. By fixing the rotary shaft 40 penetrating the fitting insertion hole 25a with the push screw 27, the handrail body 20, the bracket 30, and the rotary shaft 40 are integrally fixed.

The bracket 30 is an aluminum extruded profile having two handrail body base end fitting insertion holes 31 and 32 (hereinafter referred to as holes 31 and 32) parallel to each other and a slit 33 that communicates both the holes 31 and 32. Is formed. In this case, as shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, the bracket 30 is formed so that both side surfaces and upper and lower end surfaces of the two holes 31 and 32 are flat, and both side surfaces of the slit 33 are constricted in a concave shape. . Thereby, the waste material of the bracket 30 can be reduced and the extrusion of the bracket 30 can be facilitated. Further, a through hole 30 a into which the rotary shaft 40 can be fitted is provided on the side surface of the upper hole 31 on the base end side of the bracket 30. A circular concave magnet receiver 34 is provided on the upper end surface of the bracket 30 on the front end side, and a cylindrical magnet 35 is fixed to the magnet receiver 34 via an adhesive means such as a double-sided adhesive tape. It has become.

A cap member 37 is attached to the two holes 31 and 32 and the slit 33 on the small edge side of the bracket 30 formed as described above, and is hidden from the outside. As shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, the cap member 37 is connected between two disk parts 37a and 37b and both disk parts 37a and 37b inserted into the two holes 31 and 32, and is slit. It is formed of a rectangular block-shaped insertion portion 37c inserted into 33, and is formed of, for example, a synthetic rubber member.

The rotating shaft 40 is formed of a stainless steel member. As shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, flat surfaces 41 are provided on both sides of the intermediate portion, and a slit along the axial direction is provided at the center of both ends. A portion 42 is formed. As described above, the rotary shaft 40 formed in this manner is attached to the slit portion 42 at one end of the handrail body 20 in a state of being attached through the support member 10, the bracket 30, the handrail body 20, and the reinforcing member 25. A spring member, for example, a spiral spring 43, which applies a restoring elasticity in the direction in which the handrail body 20 is lifted when the handrail descends is engaged, and a brake member, for example, oil viscosity for braking the rotating shaft 40 is used for the slit portion 42 at the other end. Thus, a disk damper 44 that generates torque is engaged.

On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 6, 11 and 12, the support member 10 includes a rectangular base 11 and a pair of support pieces 12 facing each other in parallel with respect to the central portion of the base 11. It is formed of an aluminum extruded shape having a substantially π-shaped cross section. In this case, mounting holes 13 are formed at four locations on the upper and lower ends of the base 11, and a locking claw piece for locking a cover member 60 described later is provided on the surface side of both side edges, that is, on the support piece 12 side. 14 is projected (see FIG. 6).

The support pieces 12 have a thick portion 15 formed from the intermediate portion to the base end portion side, and a thin portion 16 formed from the intermediate portion to the distal end side. A cover member 60 is provided at the distal end portion. A locking step 17 for locking is formed. A through hole 10 a into which the rotating shaft 40 is inserted is formed in the thick portion 15 of the support piece 12.

Further, a position restricting member 50 for maintaining the horizontal position when the handrail 20 is used and the retracted position when not in use is attached between the support pieces 12 in the base 11 of the support member 10. As shown in FIGS. 5, 8, 10, 11, and 12, the position restricting member 50 includes a substantially rectangular position restricting piece 51 positioned on the surface of the base 11 between the support pieces 12 a, and this position. It consists of a horizontal locking piece 52 that is bent at a right angle from the upper end of the restriction piece 51 and locked to the upper end portion of the base 11.

In this case, a fitting groove 53 into which a magnetic plate 36 such as a steel plate that can be attracted to the magnet 35 attached to the bracket 30 can be fitted is provided on the upper side of the position regulating piece 51. The fitting groove 53 is formed by a pair of guide ridges 53a having an inverted L-shaped cross section that confront each other. The magnetic plate 36 is fitted and fixed in the fitting groove 53 formed in this way. Thereby, when the handrail body 20 stands up from the horizontal state, the magnet 35 and the magnetic plate 36 fixed to the bracket 30 are attracted to maintain the retracted position of the handrail body 20.

Further, a flat bulge portion 54 is formed on the lower side of the position restricting piece 51 so as to contact the end surface of the bracket 30 and maintain the horizontal position of the handrail body 20 when the handrail body 20 is placed in the horizontal position. Yes. A plurality of reinforcing ribs 55 that are in parallel with each other and that are in contact with the base surface are provided on the back surface side of the flat bulging portion 54. Thus, by providing the reinforcing rib 55 on the back surface side of the flat bulging portion 54, the pressure resistance of the flat bulging portion 54 with which the bracket 30 abuts at the use position of the handrail 20 can be increased.

In addition, a slight gap is provided between the fitting groove 53 and the flat bulging portion 54 in the position restricting piece 51 so that the upper end corner portion 38 of the bracket 30 that rotates as the handrail 20 rotates does not interfere. A concave arcuate portion 56 that can be rotated is formed. That is, a concave arc portion 56 having a slightly larger curvature than the rotation trajectory of the upper end corner portion 38 is formed (see FIGS. 4, 5, and 7 to 11). In this case, the gap s between the concave arc portion 56 and the locus of the upper end corner portion 38 of the bracket 30 is set to a gap where the child's finger does not enter, for example, 4 mm or less. In other words, the gap s between the curvature surface of the concave arc portion 56 and the rotation trajectory of the upper end corner portion 38 of the bracket 30 is set to be within a range in which the child's finger cannot enter (4 mm or less). 4 and 5, the child's finger does not enter the gap s between the concave arc portion 56 and the upper end corner portion 38 of the bracket 30 at the horizontal position of the handrail 20 in use shown in FIGS. 9 and FIG. 10, the finger of the child does not enter the gap s between the concave arc portion 56 and the upper end corner portion 38 of the bracket 30 even at the standing position (storage position) of the handrail 20 when not in use.

In a state where the position regulating member 50 formed as described above is attached between the two support pieces 12 of the support member 10, cover members 60 are respectively attached to both sides of the support member 10, and the spiral spring 43 and the disk damper 44. Is blindfolded from the outside.

In this case, the cover member 60 includes one outward projecting portion of the base 11 of the support member 10, a substantially triangular top plate portion 61 and a bottom plate portion 62 that close the upper end and lower end of the support piece 12, and the top plate portion 61. And an inclined side plate portion 63 that connects the bottom plate portion 62 and is formed of a synthetic resin member such as ABS resin.

In this case, the inclined side plate portion 63 has a locking claw 64 that engages with the locking claw piece 14 of the support member 10 at one end and a forked portion that engages with the locking step portion 17 of the support member 10 at the other end. The outer surface of the locking groove 65 is formed so as to be positioned on the same plane as the opposite side surface of the support piece 12 when locked to the support member 10. . Note that the locking claws 64 are provided at three locations, the upper and lower end portions and the intermediate portion of the inclined side plate portion 63. Further, the top plate portion 61 has an upper surface located on the same plane as the upper surface of the horizontal locking piece 52 of the position regulating member 50, and has a hanging piece 61a that covers the upper end portion of the support piece 12 (see FIG. 2). Note that the end of the hanging piece 61 a is formed to bulge at the upper end of the outer surface of the locking groove 65. Further, the bottom plate portion 62 has an upright piece 62 a that covers the lower end portion of the support piece 12, and an end portion of the upright piece 62 a is bulged at the lower end portion of the outer surface of the locking groove portion 65.

The cover member 60 formed as described above is attached to both sides of the support member 10 via cover receivers 70 fixed to the outer side surface of the support piece 12 of the support member 10 by a double-sided adhesive tape or the like. In this case, the cover receiver 70 includes an inclined receiving piece 71 having an inclination angle along the inclined surface of the inclined side plate portion 63 of the cover member 60, a pair of leg pieces 72 bent at both ends of the inclined receiving piece 71, The leg piece 72 is formed of, for example, an aluminum extruded profile having a substantially hat-shaped cross section including an attachment piece 73 bent outward from the tip of both leg pieces 72. The cover receiver 70 formed in this way is fixed to the outer side surface of the support piece 12 of the support member 10 on the back surface of the mounting piece 73 via a double-sided adhesive or the like.

Next, the assembly procedure of the handrail H and the attachment procedure to the wall surface 1 will be described. First, the reinforcing member 25 and the contact plate member 28 are inserted into the upper and lower base end portions 21 and 22 of the handrail body 20, respectively, and the upper and lower base end portions 21 and 22 of the handrail body 20 are inserted into the two holes 31, In the state where the through hole 30a provided in the bracket 30 and the fitting hole 25a provided in the reinforcing member 25 are matched, the upper and lower side bases of the bracket 30 and the handrail 20 are fixed by the fixing screw 26. The end portions 21 and 22 are fixed.

Next, a bracket 30 that holds and holds the handrail body 20 is inserted between the two support pieces 12 of the support member 10 to which the position restricting member 50 is attached at the upper part between the two support pieces 12, and the through hole 10 a of the support member 10. And the through hole 30a of the bracket 30 are matched. Next, the rotating shaft 40 is inserted into the through hole 10 a of the support member 10, the through hole 30 a of the bracket 30, and the insertion hole 25 a of the reinforcing member 25. In this state, the push screw 27 is screwed into the fixing screw hole 25 b of the reinforcing member 25, and the push screw 27 is pressed against the flat surface 41 of the rotary shaft 40 to fix the rotary shaft 40 and the bracket 30. Thereafter, the cap member 37 is attached to the two holes 31 and 32 and the slit 33 on the small edge side of the bracket 30.

Next, the spiral spring 43 and the disk damper 44 are respectively attached to the slit portions 42 on the protruding side of the rotating shaft 40 fixed to the bracket 30 as described above. At this time, if there is a gap between the bracket 30 and the two support pieces 12, a washer 45 may be interposed.

The support member 10 is shipped with the handrail body 20 and the bracket 30 assembled to the support member 10. After the support member 10 is attached to the side wall 1 on the side of the toilet 2 by an attachment screw (not shown), the support member 10 is attached. Cover members 60 are attached to both sides of the cover.

The handrail H according to the present invention configured as described above is configured so that the rotating shaft 40 passes through the bracket 30 with the upper-side base end portion 21 of the handrail body 20 being inserted into the hole 31 of the bracket 30. Since the handrail body 20 is fixed, the bracket 30 and the handrail body 20 can be firmly connected. Therefore, even when a large load is applied to the handrail body 20 in the use state, there is no worry about the rattling of the handrail body 20. Further, in the use state, that is, in the state where the handrail body 20 is in the horizontal position, the base end side portion of the bracket 30 abuts on the flat bulged portion 54 of the position regulating member 50 having the plurality of reinforcing ribs 55 on the back surface. Even when a large load is applied to the rail 20, the horizontal bulge portion 54 can stably maintain the horizontal posture of the handrail body 20 and can prevent deformation by imparting strength to the load applied to the handrail body 20 ( (See FIGS. 4 and 5).

Further, in the unused state, that is, in the retracted state in which the handrail body 20 stands vertically, the upper portion 24a of the handrail body 20 and the upper side base end portion 21 extending to the end portion of the upper portion 24a are close to the wall surface 1 in parallel. The space between the wall 1 and the wall 1 can be reduced and stored. In this retracted state, the magnet 35 and the magnetic plate 36 fixed to the bracket 30 are attracted to maintain the retracted position of the handrail 20 (see FIGS. 9 and 10).

Further, since the gap s between the upper end corner portion 38 of the bracket 30 and the concave arc portion 56 of the position restricting member 50 attached to the support member 10 is set to a gap in which a child's finger does not enter, for example, 4 mm or less, a handrail. When the body 20 is rotated from the use position to the storage position or from the storage position to the use position, there is no concern that the user will be pinched by the user.

Furthermore, since the upper and lower openings and the side openings on both sides of the base 11 of the support member 10 and the outer side of the support piece 12 are covered with the cover member 60, the protruding portion of the rotating shaft 40 pivotally attached to the support piece 12. The spiral spring 43 that urges the handrail body 20 to be restored in the lifting direction, the disk damper 44 that brakes the rotation of the rotary shaft 40, etc. can be blinded from the outside. In this case, the inclined side plate portion 63 of the cover member 60 is attached to the inclined receiving piece 71 of the cover receiver 70 formed of an extruded aluminum member having a substantially hat-shaped cross section that is fixed to the outer surface of the supporting piece 12 of the supporting member 10. By supporting the contact, deformation of the cover member 60 made of synthetic resin can be prevented.

In the above-described embodiment, the structure in which the handrail body 20 is formed in a substantially U shape and the upper and lower side base end portions 21 and 22 are fixedly held by the bracket 30 is described. However, the handrail body is not necessarily limited to this structure. It is not something. For example, a structure in which the upper base end portion of the substantially U-shaped handrail body is fixed to the bracket may be used, or the handrail body may have a shape other than the substantially U-shape.
