Description

The present invention relates to a two-color molded body obtained by polymerizing synthetic resins having different colors, for example, used as a side visor for a vehicle window.

Conventionally, the side visor for windows made of synthetic resin that is attached to the upper edge of the door of a vehicle, for example, paints a part of the base molded with synthetic resin to form a painted part from the viewpoint of appearance etc. In many cases, the molded body is used. In such a molded body, manual work such as attachment of masking, spraying of paint, removal of masking, etc. is necessary when forming the paint part, and the number of work for forming the paint part is large, and manufacturing work is required. It is complicated and cannot be manufactured easily.

Further, as a molded body made of synthetic resin, a slide mold having a first concave portion that forms the first base and a second concave portion that forms the second base, and the first concave portion and the second concave portion What was shape | molded by the shaping | molding method using the shaping | molding die provided with the movable metal mold | die which has a matching 3rd recessed part is known. In this molding method and molding die, it is conceivable to form a two-color molded body by laminating a second base portion having a color different from that of the first base portion on a part of the first base portion. When the two-color molded body is molded by this molding method and molding die, a coating step is unnecessary, and the two-color molded body can be easily manufactured (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
JP 2000-141406 A (page 2-5, FIG. 1)

However, the above-described molding method and molding die of Patent Document 1 are for molding a relatively large molded body. For example, a relatively large thickness of about 3.0 mm such as a side visor for vehicle windows is used. When a thin two-color molded body is molded, the first base and the second base are laminated, so that stress due to impact during, for example, mounting is concentrated on the boundary between the first base and the second base. There may be a problem that cracks or the like are easily generated from the boundary portion and are easily damaged.

The present invention has been made in view of such points, and provides a two-color molded body that can be easily manufactured and has a good strength at the boundary between the first base and the second base and is not easily damaged.

The two-color molded body described in claim 1 includes a first base made of synthetic resin and a second base made of synthetic resin having a color different from that of the first base, and the first base is thick. A thin-walled portion formed thinner than the thick-walled portion, and a concave-curved surface portion formed in a concave-curved shape so as to become thinner from the thick-walled portion toward the thin-walled portion. The portion is formed in a curved surface shape having a radius of 10 mm or more, and the second base portion is formed by polymerization molding at least on the concave curved surface portion and the thin wall portion.

The two-color molded article described in claim 2 is the two-color molded article described in claim 1, wherein the concave curved surface portion is formed in a curved shape having a radius of 10 to 25 mm.

The two-color molded article according to claim 3 is the two-color molded article according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the second base is a standing wall formed at an end of the first base on the thick part side. It has a part.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the first base portion and the second base portion can be formed integrally, and therefore can be easily manufactured.

In addition, since the concave curved surface portion is formed in a curved surface shape having a radius of 10 mm or more, the first base portion and the second base portion can be easily and reliably bonded to each other, so that the first base portion and the second base portion can be bonded. The strength of the boundary with the base is good and is not easily damaged.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the concave curved surface portion is formed in a curved surface shape having a radius of 10 to 25 mm, the first base portion and the second base portion can be easily and reliably bonded. The strength of the boundary between the first base and the second base is good and is not easily damaged, and the second base is easy to mold, so that the occurrence of molding defects can be suppressed.

According to the invention described in claim 3, the second base portion has the standing wall portion formed at the end portion on the thick portion side of the first base portion, thereby forming the second base portion. Since it is easy, generation | occurrence | production of a molding defect can be suppressed.

The configuration of the first embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to FIGS.

The two-color molded body 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is used as, for example, a window side visor provided at the upper end of a vehicle door.

The two-color molded body 1 includes a first base portion 2 made of a synthetic resin and a second base portion 3 made of a synthetic resin that is polymer-molded on a part of the first base portion 2.

The first base 2 is preferably formed of a transparent synthetic resin such as an acrylic resin or a polycarbonate resin.

The second base 3 is formed of a synthetic resin having a color different from that of the first base 2. As the synthetic resin, for example, a synthetic resin having good fluidity such as ASA (acrylate styrene acrylonitrile) is used as a pigment. Those colored with are preferred.

The first base 2 and the second base 3 are formed by, for example, a method of filling a mold with a molten synthetic resin.

The first base 2 is formed with a thick part 4 and a thin part 5 thinner than the thick part 4.

The thick part 4 is formed with a thickness of about 2.5 mm, for example, and the thin part 5 is formed with a thickness of about 1.5 mm.

A concave curved surface portion 6 is formed between the thick portion 4 and the thin portion 5. The concave curved surface portion 6 is formed in a curved surface shape having a radius of 10 mm or more so as to gradually become thinner from the thick portion 4 toward the thin portion 5.

Here, when the concave curved surface portion 6 is formed in a curved surface shape with a radius smaller than 10 mm, the inclination angle of the concave curved surface portion 6 is increased, and therefore the second base 3 is difficult to adhere to the concave curved surface portion 6. The intensity | strength of the boundary part of the base 2 and the 2nd base 3 will deteriorate. Therefore, cracks and the like are likely to occur starting from this boundary portion, and are easily damaged.

Further, when the concave curved surface portion 6 is formed in a curved surface shape having a radius larger than 25 mm, the inclination angle of the concave curved surface portion 6 is reduced, and the thick portion of the second base portion 3 formed along the concave curved surface portion 6. The thickness of the end portion on the 4 side is reduced. Therefore, since it becomes difficult to fill the synthetic resin forming the second base portion 3 to the end of the concave curved surface portion 6 on the thick wall portion 4 side, it is difficult to mold the second base portion 3, and molding defects are likely to occur.

From the above, the concave curved surface portion 6 is preferably formed in a curved shape with a radius of 10 to 25 mm or more, and more preferably a curved shape with a radius of 20 mm.

As shown in FIG. 3, the second base portion 3 is provided from the concave curved surface portion 6 of the first base portion 2 to the thin portion 5. As long as this second base portion 3 is provided at least from the concave curved surface portion 6 to the thin portion 5, as shown in FIG. 4, the second base portion 3 is provided to extend from a part of the thick portion 4 to the thin portion 5. It can be set as appropriate, assuming the strength and appearance of the product in which the two-color molded body 1 is used.

In addition, in the said 1st Embodiment, although the two-color molded object 1 is described as a side visor for windows provided in the door upper end part of a vehicle, the synthetic resin 1st base 2 and this 1st base 2 is not limited to the side visor as long as it includes the second base 3 made of a synthetic resin having a different color.

The first base 2 and the second base 3 may have different colors. For example, the amount of pigment added may be adjusted so that the color density, transparency, and the like are different even for the same color. .

Further, the thickness of the thick portion 4 is 2.5 mm and the thickness of the thin portion 5 is 1.5 mm. However, as long as the concave curved surface portion 6 can be formed into a curved shape having a radius of 10 mm or more. The thickness of the thick part 4 and the thin part 5 is not limited to the above values.

In addition, the first base 2 and the second base 3 are preferably formed of a synthetic resin that is optimal for each, assuming fluidity and appearance as a product, but if the colors are different, The first base 2 and the second base 3 may be formed of the same synthetic resin.

Next, the operation of the first embodiment will be described.

When molding the two-color molded body 1, first, a molten synthetic resin that forms the first base portion 2 is filled into the first base portion 2 forming portion of the mold designed for the two-color molded body 1.

When the synthetic resin in the first base 2 forming part is solidified and the first base 2 is molded, the mold is moved to form the second base 3 forming part between a part of the first base 2 and the mold. Then, a synthetic resin in a molten state for forming the second base portion 3 is filled into the second base portion 3 forming portion.

When the synthetic resin in the second base portion 3 forming portion is solidified and the second base portion 3 is polymerized and formed on the first base portion 2, the two-color molded body 1 is taken out from the mold.

In the two-color molded body 1 formed in this way, the second base 3 is polymerized and formed on at least the concave curved surface portion 6 and the thin-walled portion 5 of the first base portion 2 so that the first base portion 2 and the second base portion 3 are integrated. Since it can be molded automatically, it is easy to manufacture.

Further, the concave curved surface portion 6 of the first base portion 2 is formed in a curved surface shape having a radius of 10 mm or more, so that the inclination angle of the concave curved surface portion 6 does not become too large, and is in a molten state forming the second base portion 3. The synthetic resin is easy to adhere to the first base portion 2 while solidifying. Therefore, since the first base 2 and the second base 3 can be securely bonded, the strength of the boundary between the first base 2 and the second base 3 is good, and cracks and the like are generated starting from this boundary. For example, even a relatively thin two-color molded body 1 having a thickness of about 3.0 mm used for a window side visor is hardly damaged.

In addition, since the concave curved surface portion 6 of the first base portion 2 is formed in a curved surface shape having a radius of 10 to 25 mm, the first base portion 2 and the second base portion 3 can be easily and reliably bonded to each other. The strength of the boundary portion between the second base portion 3 and the second base portion 3 is good, hardly damaged, and the end portion on the thick portion 4 side of the second base portion 3 formed along the concave curved surface portion 6 is thin. Therefore, the molten synthetic resin forming the second base 3 can be reliably filled up to the end on the thick portion 4 side. Therefore, since the second base 3 can be easily molded, the occurrence of molding defects can be suppressed.

Next, a second embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. In addition, about the structure and effect | action same as said embodiment, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected and the description is abbreviate | omitted.

As shown in FIG. 5, the second base 3 is formed with a standing wall 7 at the end of the first base 2 on the thick portion 4 side.

The standing wall portion 7 is formed with a thickness of 0.3 mm at the end portion on the thick wall portion 4 side, and a corner portion 8 on the thick wall portion 4 side is formed in a curved surface shape having a radius of 0.1 mm. .

As described above, since the second base portion 3 has the standing wall portion 7, the end portion on the thick portion 4 side of the first base portion 2 in the second base portion 3 becomes thick, so that the molten state forming the second base portion 3 is formed. The synthetic resin can be reliably filled up to the end on the thick-walled portion 4 side.

Here, when the synthetic resin cannot be filled up to the end of the second base portion 3 on the thick wall portion 4 side, the parting line between the first base portion 2 and the second base portion 3 after the molding meanders, The 2 base part 3 cannot be shape | molded in a desired shape, but a shaping | molding defect generate | occur | produces.

Therefore, since the second base 3 can be easily formed by forming the standing wall 7 on the second base 3, the second base 3 can be reliably formed into a desired shape, and the occurrence of molding defects can be suppressed.

The standing wall 7 is formed with a thickness of 0.3 to 0.5 mm at the end on the thick portion 4 side, and a corner 8 on the thick portion 4 side has a radius of 0.1 to 0.3 mm. This is preferable because the standing wall portion 7 has an excellent effect of suppressing the occurrence of molding defects and is easy to form the standing wall portion 7. The value of part 8 is not limited to the above range.
