軸筒内に複数の筆記軸が収納されて、該複数の筆記軸の中から選択的に1つの筆記軸の先端を軸筒の先端開口から突出可能とした複合筆記具において、
カム本体と、各筆記軸の後端部に連結されたスライダと、が設けられており、
前記カム本体には、前方に向けて突出するV字状のカム突起が形成されて、カム突起に沿って前方に面するカム面が形成されており、前記カム面のカム突起の頂点部分には係止凹部が形成されており、
前記スライダには、後方に向けて突出するV字状のカムが形成されて、該カムに沿って後方に面する摺接面が形成されており、
前記カム本体とスライダとの間の相対回転により、前記摺接面がカム面を摺接して、1つのカムが前記係止凹部に係止されることにより、選択的に該カムの設けられたスライダに連結された筆記軸の先端が軸筒の先端開口から突出するようになっており、
前記係止凹部は、一対の傾斜面とそれらの間に形成された直線部からなり、前記カムの先端には、直線部が形成されており、
前記カムが係止凹部に係止された状態で、カムの直線部の両端が係止凹部の傾斜面に当接することを特徴とする複合筆記具。
