Abstract
【解決手段】複数の電気二重層コンデンサ1,2,3と、これら電気二重層コンデンサ1,2,3の各封口部全体を封止するための封止手段とを備えているコンデンサユニットであって、封止手段は、電気二重層コンデンサ1,2,3を同一平面上で連結してユニット化するために、回路基板4、および回路基板4の平面形状に対応する形状をなす凹部51が形成されたケース5を含み、回路基板4には、その裏面に複数の電気二重層コンデンサ1,2,3の各封印部が接するように当該電気二重層コンデンサ1,2,3が直列に接続され、ケース5は、回路基板4の表面全体を覆うようにその凹部51が当該回路基板4に嵌合されている。

Claims (3)
- 炭素材料を賦活することにより形成された細孔を有する一対の分極性電極材の間にセパレータを介在させて巻回したコンデンサ素子を電解液に含浸してケースに収納し、前記分極性電極材から導出された一対の電極端子を有する複数の電気二重層コンデンサと、前記複数の電気二重層コンデンサの各封口部全体を覆い、封止するための封止手段と、を備えてなるコンデンサユニットであって、
上記封止手段は、
上記複数の電気二重層コンデンサを同一平面上で連結してユニット化するために、回路基板、および前記回路基板の平面形状に対応する形状をなす凹部が形成された絶縁樹脂製の有底筒状ケースを含み、
上記回路基板には、その一方の面に上記複数の電気二重層コンデンサの各封口部が接するように当該複数の電気二重層コンデンサが直列または直並列に接続され、
上記ケースは、
上記回路基板の他方の面全体を覆うようにその凹部が当該回路基板に嵌合されていることを特徴とするコンデンサユニット。 - 上記回路基板において直列に接続された各電気二重層コンデンサにバランス抵抗が並列に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコンデンサユニット。
- 上記複数の電気二重層コンデンサが直列に接続された回路基板の他方の面には、当該各電気二重層コンデンサの封口部から引き出された引き出しリードに接続されるユニット端子が植立され、
このユニット端子の径寸法は、上記引き出しリードの径寸法よりも大に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のコンデンサユニット。
