Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a seat belt having a light reflection part without deteriorating light reflectivity of the light reflection part and without increasing the number of processes.
SOLUTION: In the seat belt having the light reflection part, the light reflection part is formed by incorporating and weaving retroreflective reflection yarn as light reflective yarn in warp yarn when weaving webbing by warp yarn and weft yarn. After being dyed, the webbing is cut in a belt shape. Since the light reflection part is formed by incorporating and weaving the retroreflective reflection yarn in the warp yarn, there is neither increase in the number of processes in manufacturing of a seat belt having the light reflection part, nor the deterioration of the light reflectivity of the light reflection part, due to the adhesion of dyeing agent onto the surface of yarn when dyeing the webbing, since the light reflection part is also formed of the retroreflective reflection yarn.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a seat belt provided in a vehicle, and more particularly, to increase the number of steps of a seat belt having a light reflecting portion and capable of easily confirming whether or not a passenger is wearing at night from the outside of the vehicle. The present invention relates to a manufacturing method that can be manufactured without any problems.

Conventionally, in an automobile, a seat belt device for safety of the occupant is installed by installing a seat belt by the occupant seated in the seat. It is mandatory to wear a belt.

Since wearing this seatbelt will restrain the passenger's body, the passenger will dislike wearing and the wearing rate will not necessarily be high, so a police officer may check the wearing on the road. is there.

However, the presence or absence of the seat belt can be confirmed from outside the vehicle without stopping the vehicle during the daytime, but must be confirmed by stopping the vehicle one by one at night.

For this reason, conventionally, a thread or cloth colored with a light-reflecting dye is woven on the outer surface of the seat belt opposite to the body of the occupant so that the seat belt stands out at night for recognition of wearing at night. The thing provided with the light reflection part (conspicuous hue part) is proposed (for example, refer patent document 1).

However, in the above proposed technique, after forming a seat belt through the webbing weaving, dyeing and cutting processes, the seat belt is woven with a thread or cloth colored with a light-reflecting dye, and light reflection for nighttime wearing recognition is performed. Therefore, there is a problem in that the number of steps increases in manufacturing a seat belt having a light reflecting portion.

An object of the present invention is to provide a seat belt manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a seat belt having a light reflecting portion without reducing the light reflectivity of the light reflecting portion and without increasing the number of steps in view of the above-described present situation. It is to provide.

In order to achieve the above object, the first invention is to manufacture a seat belt in which a webbing is woven with warps and wefts, and the webbing is dyed and then cut and formed with a light reflecting portion. In the method, when weaving the webbing with the warp and the weft, weaving the warp yarn by incorporating a retroreflective yarn as a light reflective yarn into the warp yarn, so that the light reflecting portion is placed on the seat belt. It is characterized in that it is provided in a strip shape with an expression yarn.

In general, a seat belt is manufactured by weaving webbing with warps and wefts, dyeing the webbing, and cutting it into a belt shape. By incorporating a light reflective yarn into this warp and weaving it, the light reflecting portion is formed. The seat belt having the above can be manufactured without increasing the number of steps. However, if the dyeing agent adheres to and covers the surface of the light-reflective yarn during webbing dyeing, the light reflectivity of the light reflection part is lowered, and a seat belt with good light reflection of the light reflection part is manufactured. I can't.

Therefore, in the first invention of the present application, as described above, the webbing is woven by incorporating a retroreflective yarn as a light reflective yarn into the warp. This retroreflective thread is constructed with a structure in which minute spherical glass beads are bonded into a large number of minute spherical recesses formed on the surface, and the glass beads repel the stain during webbing dyeing. The surface of the retroreflective yarn can be greatly reduced from being covered with the dyeing agent. For this reason, the retroreflective property of reflecting the light incident from the light source into the glass beads of the retroreflective yarn of the light reflection part in the direction of the light source at the interface between the glass beads and the reflection film is excellent in the light reflection part. By illuminating the upper body of the passenger in the vehicle with a light source such as a flashlight from outside the vehicle at night, it is easy to determine whether the passenger is wearing a seat belt from outside the vehicle. It becomes possible to confirm.

That is, according to the first invention of the present application, the seat belt having the light reflecting portion can be manufactured without reducing the light reflectivity of the light reflecting portion and without increasing the number of steps.

The second invention is characterized in that the webbing is woven with a 3/1 weave or a 2/2 weave having a high degree of exposure of the warp to the surface side of the seat belt.

If the degree of exposure of the warp to the surface of the webbing that is the outer surface of the seat belt is small, the degree of exposure of the retroreflective yarn also decreases, and the light reflecting portion cannot be provided on the outer surface of the seat belt with high light reflectivity.

At this time, in the second invention of the present application, the webbing is 3/1 woven or 2 so that the degree of exposure of the warp to the surface of the webbing as the outer surface of the seat belt is large and the degree of exposure of the retroreflective yarn is increased. Since it is woven by / 2 weaving, the light reflecting portion can be provided on the outer surface of the seat belt with high light reflectivity.

A third invention is characterized in that a width of the retroreflective yarn is 1 mm or more.

Thereby, the brightness | luminance which can be seen with the light reflection part by retroreflection can be obtained.

A fourth invention is characterized in that the retroreflective yarn has reflective surfaces on both sides.

Since the retroreflective yarn is a yarn having a lateral width, the brightness of the light reflecting portion may be decreased due to twisting or reversal when the retroreflective yarn is woven, but according to the fourth invention of the present application. By using a retroreflective yarn having double-sided reflection, even if twisting or inversion occurs when the retroreflective yarn is woven, a light reflecting portion that does not decrease in luminance can be stably obtained.

The fifth invention is characterized in that the light reflecting portion is provided in one or two strips at the center in the width direction of the seat belt, or two in the width direction both ends of the seat belt.

Accordingly, it is possible to easily confirm whether or not the passenger is wearing the seat belt from outside the vehicle by illuminating the upper body of the passenger in the vehicle with a flashlight, for example, from outside the vehicle at night.

The sixth invention is characterized in that the light reflecting portion reflects not only visible light but also infrared light.

In this way, not only using a visible light source that emits visible light, such as a flashlight, but also using an infrared light source that emits infrared light, it is necessary to check whether the passenger's seat belt is worn from outside the vehicle at night. Can do.

According to this invention, it can manufacture, without reducing the light reflectivity of a light reflection part, and without increasing the number of processes.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. First, a seat belt device to which a seat belt according to the present invention is applied will be described.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an overall structure of a seat belt apparatus including a seat belt according to an embodiment of the present invention.

In FIG. 1, a seat belt device 1 includes a seat belt 3, a retractor device (winding device) 2 that winds up one side of the seat belt 3 so that it can be pulled out, and a tongue that is slidably provided on the seat belt 3. 8 and a buckle 9 that engages with the tongue 8. The buckle 9 is fixed to the vehicle body side via a wire 10 and a bracket 11.

As described above, the seat belt 3 is wound on one side by the retractor device 2 and passed through a through ring 5 provided in the upper part of the center pillar 4 in the middle, and the other side end portion of the seat belt 3 and the seat. 6 is pivotally connected to the vehicle body side by an anchor plate 7 provided between them.

In the seat belt device 1, a passenger (not shown) sits on the seat 6, pulls out the seat belt 3 against the winding force from the retractor device 2, and a tongue 8 provided on the seat belt 3. Is engaged with the buckle device 5 to attach the seat belt 3. Thus, the passenger is wound around the chest and the lower abdomen by the seat belt 3, and as a result, is restrained by the seat 6.

The seat belt 3 is provided with a light reflecting portion 12 in the belt longitudinal direction on the outer surface 3a, that is, the surface opposite to the body side when the occupant wears it. From the above, it is possible to confirm whether the passenger in the vehicle is wearing the seat belt. According to the present invention, the light reflecting portion 12 is made of a retroreflective yarn, and when weaving the webbing of the seat belt 3 with warps and wefts, as shown in FIG. The retroreflective yarn 101 is used, and the retroreflective yarn 101 is woven into the webbing.

As shown in FIG. 2, the retroreflective thread 101 has a reflective film 106 having a large number of minute spherical recessed portions 105 formed on the surface of the thread-like base material 104, and minute spherical shapes are formed in the recessed portions 105. The glass beads 107 are structured to be bonded with an adhesive. The retroreflective yarn 101 has a retroreflective characteristic in which when light from a light source enters the glass bead 107, the incident light is reflected in the direction of the light source at the interface between the glass bead 107 and the reflective film 106. . As light, in addition to visible light such as a flashlight, infrared light from an infrared irradiation lamp or the like can be reflected.

In this embodiment, the light reflecting portion 12 is formed by the retroreflective yarn 101. However, when the webbing is dyed, the glass beads 107 of the retroreflective yarn 101 repel the dyeing agent. Covering with the adhesion of the staining agent can be greatly reduced, and the light reflection portion 12 can be made to exhibit the retroreflective characteristics well.

The light reflecting portion 12 is formed by weaving the retroreflective yarn 101 incorporated in the warp 102 when weaving the webbing. 3/1 weaving shown in FIG. 3 (a) or 2/2 weaving shown in FIG. 3 (b) is preferable to the weaving method as described, that is, 1/1 weaving shown in FIG. 3 (c). As a result, the retroreflective thread 101 is exposed with high exposure on one surface of the webbing, that is, the outer surface 3a of the seat belt 3, and the light reflecting portion 12 can be provided with high light reflectivity.

The width of the light reflecting portion 12 is preferably set to 1 mm or more in order to obtain the luminance that can be seen by the retroreflecting of the light reflecting portion 12.

The light reflecting portions 12 on the outer surface 3a of the seat belt 3 can be provided in various arrangements as shown in FIGS. FIG. 3A is the same as that shown in FIG. 1, and shows a case where one light reflecting portion 12 is provided at the central portion of the outer surface 3 a of the seat belt 3. 3B shows a case where two light reflecting portions 12 are provided at a small interval in the central portion of the outer surface 3a of the seat belt 3, and FIG. 3C shows both end portions of the outer surface 3a of the seat belt 3. FIG. This is the case where two of each article are provided.

The seat belt 3 of this embodiment is manufactured according to the procedure shown in the flowchart of FIG. First, the warp yarn 102 is built and set on the loom (step S10). At this time, a part of the warp yarn 102 is set in place of the retroreflective yarn 101 according to the position and the number of the light reflecting portions 12 formed on the seat belt. Next, the weft 103 is driven into the warp yarn 102 and the retroreflective yarn 101, and the webbing is woven in a 3/1 weave or a 2/1 weave (step S20). As a result, a webbing is obtained in which the reflecting portion 12 made of the retroreflective yarn 101 enters a band in the weaving progress direction on one surface. Next, the obtained webbing is immersed in a dyeing solution and dyed (step S30). At this time, since the light reflecting portion 12 is formed of the retroreflective yarn 101, the glass beads 105 of the retroreflective yarn 101 repel the stain used for dyeing the webbing. Thus, it is possible to significantly reduce the surface of the light reflecting member from being covered with the dye and to dye the webbing while preventing the retroreflection of the light reflecting portion 102 from being lowered. Next, after dyeing / shrinkage curing and cooling, if the webbing is cut into a belt-like size (step S50), a half-processed seat belt before attachment of an accessory such as a buckle can be obtained. If the processed seat belt is subjected to packing processing (step S60) and subjected to the accessory mounting step, the seat belt 3 of this embodiment is manufactured.

According to the seat belt 3 manufactured in this way, the light reflecting portion 12 by the retroreflective thread is provided on the outer surface 3a at the time of wearing. By illuminating the upper body of the vehicle, it can be easily confirmed whether or not the passenger is wearing the seat belt from outside the vehicle. In particular, even when the window glass of a vehicle is dark glass, and the reflection by the light reflecting portion 12 cannot be seen well by irradiation with visible light, the light reflecting portion 12 reflects infrared rays. By using the camera, it is possible to confirm whether the passenger is wearing the seat belt 3 or not.

Although not shown in the figure, it is better to use a double-sided reflective thread having glass beads on both sides as a retroreflective thread. The above-mentioned retroreflective yarn 101 is single-sided reflective having glass beads 107 on one side, but the retroreflective yarn 101 is a wide yarn, so that the retroreflective yarn 101 is woven. It is conceivable that the luminance of the light reflecting portion 12 is reduced due to twisting and reversal of time. If such a double-sided retroreflective yarn is used, a light reflecting portion that does not decrease in luminance can be stably obtained even if twisting or inversion occurs when the retroreflective yarn is woven. .

Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described above, according to the present invention, when weaving a webbing with warp and weft, a light reflecting portion is incorporated by incorporating a retroreflective yarn into the warp as a light reflective yarn. Therefore, by cutting after dyeing the webbing, a seat belt having a light reflecting portion can be manufactured without increasing the number of steps. In addition, since the light reflecting portion is formed of a retroreflective yarn, there is no problem that the light reflecting property of the light reflecting portion is deteriorated due to a stain attached to the surface of the light reflecting yarn at the time of dyeing the webbing. The light reflection portion can exhibit high light reflection characteristics due to the retroreflective yarn. Therefore, it is possible to easily confirm whether or not the passenger is wearing the seat belt from outside the vehicle by illuminating the upper body of the passenger in the vehicle with a light source from outside the vehicle at night.
