Chlamydia, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Trichomonas tests were negative, and continuous activated carbon vaginal lavage therapy was continued for 7 days under the diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis.
Both the subconscious amount and odor decreased by about 90%, and the pH was improved from 6.4 to 5.0.
No side effects were observed.

外来患者の中から、
1.灰色帯下
2.膣内pH5以上
3.アミン臭の検出
4.Clue cellの検出(上皮細胞の20%以上)
の症状の内、3項目が陽性であった者130名を対象として、インフォームドコンセントを得て、ランダムに4つのグループに分け、それぞれ以下のように、7日間治療を継続実施した。
1)33名:クロマイ膣錠(三共株式会社製)による治療
2)33名:乳酸菌生成エキスによる洗浄治療
3)30名:乳酸菌製剤(ビオスリー:東亜新薬株式会社製)による治療
4)34名:この発明の膣内洗浄剤による洗浄治療
悪臭や帯下の程度は、VAS(Visual Analog Scale)を用いて、外来で被験者に自ら評価させた。
また、初診時と治療終了時に、膣内pHを測定した。
その結果を、表1(自覚的な帯下量の変化)、表2(自覚的な臭いの変化)、表3(膣内pHの変化)に示した。

その結果、4種類のいずれにおいても、治療効果が認められるが、効果の程度には差が認められ、いずれの場合においても、乳酸菌製剤において効果が下回っていた。
膣内pHに関しては、治療前後でクロマイ膣剤は、統計的な有意差は認められなかったが、他の治療法では、有意差が認められた。
