Abstract

Description

  The present invention relates to a bath lid that is installed by abutting end edges of adjacent lid plates.

  FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 show a general bath lid composed of a pair of divided lid plates 1 as described in Patent Document 1, for example. In this bath lid, as shown in FIG. 2, the bath lid is installed on the opening edge of the bathtub 3 in a state where the end edge portions 2 of the adjacent lid plates 1 are abutted with each other.

In the bath lid, as shown in FIG. 3A, it is preferable that the edge portions 2 are brought into contact with each other over the entire facing surface, but the lid plate 1 is warped by the influence of steam or the like generated from the inside of the bathtub 3. When this occurs, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3B, a gap S of about 2 to 3 mm is likely to occur between the edge portions 2 of the adjacent lid plates 1. If steam leaks from the bathtub 3 through the gap S, there is a problem that the heat retention of the bath lid is significantly reduced.

  The present invention has been invented in view of the above problems, and even if a gap is generated between the edge portions of adjacent lid plates, steam does not leak through the gap, and the heat retaining property is maintained well. It is an object to provide a bath lid to be used.

  In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the present invention is composed of a plurality of lid plates 1 and is adjacent to each other in the bath lid installed on the opening edge of the bathtub 3 by abutting the end edges 2 of the adjacent lid plates 1. At least one of the opposing edge portions 2 of the cover plate 1 is provided with a soft fin piece portion 4 that elastically contacts the other edge portion 2.
