Description

The present invention relates to a coin deposit machine for depositing coins.

Conventionally, for example, at a cash register at a store and at a window at a financial institution, a POS register, an electronic cash register, and deposit / withdrawal management are performed to accurately and quickly deliver cash between an operator and a customer. There is a coin depositing and dispensing machine that can automatically deposit and withdraw coins by a control signal from a depositing / dispensing device such as a machine.

In such a coin depositing / dispensing machine, at the time of deposit processing, the coins inserted into the coin slot are fed one by one to the identification path and identified by the identification unit, and the coins identified as normal are conveyed to the classification path. The money is classified into money types and stored in the money type storage unit. A transport belt for transporting coins is disposed on the identification path and the classification path.

。   The classification passage is formed with a denomination classification hole for classifying coins into denominations. For example, when classifying on the basis of the outer diameter of a coin, the coins are arranged in the order of small-diameter coins to large-diameter coins. The classification hole of the money type to drop is each formed in the open state (for example, refer patent document 1).

In addition, regarding the denomination storage unit, the amount of coins classified in the classification passage and stored in the storage unit is managed based on the identification in the identification unit and the detection by the coin detection sensor provided on the passage. ing.
Japanese Patent No. 3867748 (5th page, FIG. 3)

If an error in the conveyance system occurs during the deposit process, the conveyance of the coin is stopped and the error is waited for. When such an error stop occurs, coins being transported remain on the passage, and it is necessary to cancel the error to remove these coins. When the error is cleared, the coins remaining on the passage are removed by opening the unit so that the passage is opened.

At this time, depending on the location of the coin, it may be difficult to remove the coin. Therefore, the conveyor belt may be manually rotated to move the coin to a location where it can be easily removed.

However, if the classification passage is provided with an open classification hole, the coin may fall into the open classification hole due to manual rotation of the conveyor belt, and the amount of coin in the storage unit There is a problem that a mismatch between the data and the actual amount of money occurs.

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and at the time of error release processing at least during deposit processing, coins will not accidentally fall out of the classification hole, preventing occurrence of coin height differences in the storage unit. It can be opened and closed between a closed position allowing the passage of coins between 32 and the classification passage 34, and is opened and closed by an electric drive means such as a solenoid or a motor (not shown).

In the second folding passage portion 57, in order to reliably remove the reject coins at the reject portion 58, a width-shifting lever 61 for pivoting the coins to one side in the passage width direction is pivotally supported and in the passage It is urged to swing toward the direction.

A coin detection sensor 62 that detects the passage of coins is disposed downstream of the reject unit 58 in the coin transfer direction (the order of the identification passage 32, the exclusion passage 33, and the classification passage 34).

As shown in FIGS. 5 and 8, a reject box mounting portion 65 to which the reject box 64 is detachably mounted is formed below the reject hole 59 of the reject portion 58.

The reject box 64 is formed in a box shape having an upper surface opened, and can be attached and detached from an attachment / detachment opening 66 formed in the side surface of the reject box mounting portion 65 in a state where the main unit 13 is pulled forward from the airframe 12. Yes. The attachment / detachment port 66 can be opened and closed by a lid 67.

The reject box mounting portion 65 includes a front support portion 68 that supports the front edge of the reject box 64, and a rear support portion 69 that supports the rear lower surface of the reject box 64, and these front support portion 68 and rear support portion 69. Is opened downward, and a dispensing conveying means 39 is disposed below the opening. That is, a dispensing transport means 39 is disposed below the reject hole 59 of the reject section 58, and a reject box 64 is detachably disposed between the reject hole 59 of the reject section 58 and the dispensing transport means 39. Is done.

Then, as shown in FIG. 8 (a), by rejecting the reject box 64 to the reject box mounting portion 65, the reject coins removed from the reject portion 58 are received by the dispensing transport means 39 to receive the coin dispensing slot. As shown in FIG. 8 (b), the reject coins removed from the reject part 58 are stored in the reject box 64 by attaching the reject box 64 to the reject box attaching part 65 as shown in FIG. It becomes the operation method to do.

The reject box mounting unit 65 is provided with a reject box detecting means 70 for detecting whether or not the reject box 64 is mounted.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 1, the classification passage 34 is connected to the depth of the vehicle body via a connection passage portion 73 that extends from the exclusion passage 33 in the left direction of the aircraft and a direction change passage portion 74 that extends from the connection passage portion 73 toward the rear of the aircraft. It is arranged so as to pass through the left side area on the storage / disposal part 38 toward the direction, and coins are classified into denominations in the denomination classification position corresponding to the upper position of the denomination storage / disposal part 38. A denomination classification unit 75 to be stored in each storage / throwing unit 38 is disposed. The denominations to be classified by the classification unit 75 are set in the order of, for example, 500 yen, 100 yen, 50 yen, 10 yen, 5 yen, and 1 yen from the upstream side in the deposit conveyance direction. Each classification section 75 is formed with a classification hole 76 in which coins fall on the passage surface 50, and each classification hole 76 can be opened and closed in each classification hole 76 excluding the classification hole 76 at the most downstream part in the deposit conveyance direction. A classification gate 77 is disposed to be closed. Each classification gate 77 has a classification hole open position and a classification hole that swings upward in the passage with the downstream side in the deposit conveyance direction as a fulcrum and drops coins conveyed from the upstream in the deposit conveyance direction of the classification passage 34 to the classification hole 76. The hole 76 is closed and can be opened and closed between a classification hole closing position that allows passage of coins downstream in the deposit conveyance direction of the classification passage 34, and is opened and closed by an electric drive means such as a solenoid or a motor (not shown). The The classification gate 76 is not disposed in the classification hole 76 at the most downstream portion in the deposit conveyance direction, and is opened so that all the conveyed coins fall. Hereinafter, the classification hole 76 at the most downstream portion in the deposit conveyance direction is referred to as an open state classification hole 76a.

In the direction changing passage portion 74, in order to surely branch the coins in each sorting portion 75, a width-shifting lever 78 for pushing the coins to one side in the passage width direction is pivotally supported and inward of the passage. It is urged to swing toward.

Coins that detect the coins to be conveyed in order to open and close the classification gate 77 and check the classification of the coins to each storage and dispensing unit 38 on the upstream side in the deposit conveyance direction of each classification unit 75 of the classification passage 34 A detection sensor 79 is provided.

Also, the depositing conveying means 36 is a center in the width direction of the identification passage 32, the exclusion passage 33, and the classification passage 34 by pulleys 82 as a plurality of rotating bodies that are rotatably supported in a horizontal direction by a vertical axis. A transport belt 83 as a transport body is stretched so as to rotate while moving along the area. For example, a timing belt having a plurality of teeth on the inner periphery is used as the transport belt 83. In this case, a timing pulley having a plurality of teeth on the peripheral surface is also used as the pulley 82. The distance between the conveyor belt 83 supported by the plurality of pulleys 82 and the passage surface 50 is kept wider than the thickness of the maximum thickness coin among the coins to be processed.

The conveyor belt 83 has a protrusion 84 (see FIG. 6) that protrudes downward and pushes and conveys coins in the passage one by one at a predetermined interval that allows the coins to be separated and conveyed one by one. Is provided. The distance between the protrusion 84 and the passage surface 50 is kept smaller than the thickness of the minimum thickness coin to be processed.

Then, the depositing transport means 36 can transport coins in the deposit transport direction in the order of the identification path 32, the exclusion path 33, and the classification path 34.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 6, the delivery means 37 is disposed at the start end of the identification path 32 that receives the coins fed from the feeding mechanism 31 in the identification path 32, and guides the coins from the feeding belt 43 to the identification path 32. And a circular cam 87 rotatably supported in a horizontal direction by a vertical shaft 87a at a position opposite to the widthwise lever 47 with respect to the width adjusting lever 47. Yes. The cam 87 is rotationally driven in the coin delivery rotation direction (clockwise direction in the figure) or the reverse direction (counterclockwise direction in the figure) by an electric drive means such as a pulse motor (not shown).

On the lower surface of the cam 87, a pair of protrusions 88 are formed to project downward at symmetrical positions on the circumference of the peripheral edge, and a pair of grooves 89 are formed between the protrusions 88. . The distance between the projecting portion 88 and the passage surface 50 is formed such that a coin cannot enter, and the distance between the groove portion 89 and the passage surface 50 and the width of the groove portion 89 between the pair of projecting portions 88 each enter one coin. It is formed to a dimension that can

Edge portions of the projecting portions 88 that face each other in the delivery rotation direction are pushed out from the feeding mechanism 31 and pushed into the grooves 89 to push the peripheral edges of the coins, and serve as pushing portions 88a that deliver the coins to the projecting portions 84 of the conveyor belt 83. Constructed, the edges facing each other in the opposite direction to the delivery rotation direction of each projecting portion 88, and the outer peripheral surface of each projecting portion 88 separate the succeeding coins from the handed over coins until the next delivery timing. It is configured as a deterrence unit 88b to be kept.

A coin detection sensor 90 that detects a coin fed from the feeding mechanism 31 to the identification passage 32 is disposed at a side position of the feeding belt 43 of the feeding mechanism 31.

Then, as shown in FIG. 6 (a), the cam 87 is in a state where the coins fed out from the feeding mechanism 31 to the identification passage 32 enter one groove portion 89 of the cam 87 and abut against one restraining portion 88b. The stop position is a fixed position, and it is rotated 180 ° in the delivery rotation direction (clockwise in the figure) at a timing at which coins can be delivered to the projection 84 according to the position of the projection 84 of the conveyor belt 83. Then, the coins in one of the grooves 89 are fed out to the identification passage 32. Subsequent coins from the feeding mechanism 31 enter the other groove 89 of the cam 87 and stop at the state where they abut against the other restraining part 88b, that is, stop at the next fixed position, and wait for the next delivery operation. To do.

At this time, when the cam 87 rotates from the fixed position shown in FIG. 6 (a) as shown in FIG. 6 (b), the pushing portion 88a of the cam 87 contacts the coin as shown in FIG. 6 (c). The width adjusting lever 47, which is sandwiched between the width adjusting lever 47 and pushed by the cam 87 through the coin, swings outward from the passage against the bias, but the cam 87 is rotated by a certain amount from the fixed position. By temporarily stopping the rotation of the cam 87 at the position for a predetermined time, the coin is pushed into the groove 89 of the cam 87 by the biasing lever 47 as shown in FIG. After a temporary stop for a predetermined time, the rotation of the cam 87 is resumed and the coin pushed into the groove 89 is fed out to the identification passage 32, and the cam 87 stops at a fixed position where it is rotated 180 °.

When the handling coin is, for example, from 500 yen of the largest diameter coin to 1 yen of the smallest diameter coin, the groove portion 89 of the cam 87 is formed in a dimension that allows the largest diameter coin to enter. If only a fixed guide is provided at the position of the width adjusting lever 47 shown in FIG. 6 (c), two 1-diameter coins enter the groove 89 of the cam 87, and 1-yen of these two minimum-diameter coins is inserted. There is a possibility that the cam 87 is locked by being caught between the fixed guide and the cam 87. On the other hand, by using the width adjusting lever 47, the coin entering the groove 89 of the cam 87 is limited to only one coin of the smallest diameter coin, and the cam 87 is temporarily stopped during the rotation. Thus, the coin can be surely pushed into the groove portion 89 of the cam 87 by the width adjusting lever 47 and the coin can be fed out. Therefore, the coin can be prevented from being bitten and the coin can be fed out stably.

Also, the denomination storing and dispensing unit 38 corresponds to the denomination classified by the classification unit 75 in the classification passage 34, from the front side of the aircraft, 500 yen, 100 yen, 50 yen, 10 yen, 5 yen, 1 yen. Are set in this order. And, as shown in FIG. 7, it has a storage portion 93 for storing coins classified and falling in the classification passage 34 in a non-aligned state, and a throwing belt 94 constituting the bottom portion of this storage portion 93 has a machine width direction. It is arranged along.

The throwing belt 94 is an endless flat belt that is directed from the left side, which is upstream in the throwing direction, to the right side, which is downstream, by a plurality of rollers including rollers 95 and 96 at both ends pivotally supported by a horizontal axis. It is suspended so as to incline ascending.

A reverse rotation roller 97 is provided above the end of the throwing belt 94 in the coin throwing direction so as to form an interval through which only one coin can pass. The reversing roller 97 rotates in the direction opposite to the coin throwing direction of the throwing belt 94 and is not aligned on the throwing belt 94 to be thrown in the coin throwing direction by the rotation of the throwing belt 94. The coins in the state are arranged in a single row and thrown out.

At the end of the throwing belt 94 in the throwing direction from the reverse rotation roller 97, the throwing detection means 98 for detecting the number of coins thrown from the end of the throwing belt 94, and the required number A stopper 99 is provided for forcibly stopping the dispensing of the subsequent coins when the coins are dispensed.

Further, as shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, the dispensing transport means 39 is a withdrawal stretched along the front-rear direction on the side in the coin dispensing direction of all the storage dispensing units 38. A conveyor belt 102 is provided, and coins dispensed from each storage and dispensing unit 38 are placed on the dispensing conveyor belt 102 and conveyed forward. A reverse rotation roller 103 is provided oppositely above the front end of the dispensing conveyance belt 102 in the dispensing conveyance direction so as to form an interval through which only one coin can pass. The reversing roller 103 rotates in a direction opposite to the withdrawal conveyance direction of the withdrawal conveyance belt 102 and is not aligned on the withdrawal conveyance belt 102 that is about to be fed forward by the rotation of the withdrawal conveyance belt 102. The coins are arranged and arranged in one row and one row.

A passage plate 104 is disposed between the front end portion of the dispensing conveyor belt 102 and the coin dispensing port 20, and the coins fed out by the dispensing conveyance belt 102 are conveyed onto the passage plate 104 to receive the coin dispensing port 20. A discharge belt 105 that discharges to the center is disposed.

The dispensing transport means 39 is provided with a dispensing detection means 106 for detecting the number of coins to be dispensed to the coin dispensing port 20.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the opening state classification hole 76a is opened at the position of the opening state classification hole 76a at the most downstream portion in the deposit conveyance direction of the classification passage 34 at the time of normal processing in which the depositing process is performed. The shutter mechanism 111 is provided in a closed state that prevents the coins from dropping into the opening state classification hole 76a at least during the error canceling process during the depositing process.

The shutter mechanism 111 includes a shutter 112 slidably disposed in a direction intersecting the classification passage 34 below the passage surface 50 and intersecting the pulling direction of the main body unit 13 forward from the body 12. I have. In the shutter 112, an opening portion 113 that opens the opening state classification hole 76a and a closing portion 114 that closes the opening state classification hole 76a are juxtaposed in the sliding direction. The shutter 112 is stretched with a tension spring 115 as an urging means that urges the shutter 112 toward one side of the body 12 in the sliding direction of the shutter 112.

As shown in FIG. 1, in the state where the main unit 13 is housed in the machine body 12, the shutter 112 is located at the classification hole opening position where the shutter 112 abuts against the inner wall surface of one side of the machine body 12 by the biasing force of the tension spring 115. At the classification hole opening position of the shutter 112, the opening 113 overlaps the opening state classification hole 76a to open the opening state classification hole 76a. In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, when the main unit 13 is pulled out from the airframe 12, the classification hole in which the shutter 112 protrudes outward from one side of the main body unit 13 and the airframe 12 by the bias of the tension spring 115. The shutter is moved to the closing position and stopped by a stopper (not shown). At the classification hole closing position of the shutter 112, the closing portion 114 overlaps the opening state classification hole 76a to close the opening state classification hole 76a.

The shutter 112 is classified into the shutter 112 so that the main body unit 13 pulled out from the airframe 12 is accommodated in the airframe 12 so that the shutter 112 is accommodated in the airframe 12 in contact with the front end of one side of the airframe 12. A guide surface 116 that slides from the hole closing position to the classification hole opening position is formed.

In the main unit 13, control means 121 for controlling the coin depositing and dispensing machine 11 by communicating with the POS register is disposed.

This control means 121 identifies the position of the coin on the coin passage 35 based on the identification by the identification unit 54 and the detection by each of the coin detection sensors 62 and 79, and classifies the coin at the corresponding denomination branching unit 75. Based on the function of the classification control means to be performed, the identification by the identification unit 54, the detection by each coin detection sensor 62, 79 and the detection by each throwing detection means 98, the money is stored in each storing and dispensing part 38 of each denomination. It has a function of a stored number detection means for detecting the number of stored coins, that is, a height detection means for detecting a height.

Further, the control means 121 is used for feeding operation and depositing by the feeding mechanism 31 when a misclassification or the like is detected based on detection by each coin detection sensor 79 during the coin depositing operation at the time of deposit processing and replenishment processing. It has a function of error stopping means for stopping the depositing operation including the conveying operation by the conveying means.

Next, the operation of the coin depositing and dispensing machine 11 of the present embodiment will be described.

First, the deposit process will be described.

The depositing coin is inserted into the feeding mechanism 31 from the coin slot 14, and the feeding mechanism 31 is operated by detecting that a coin is inserted on the feeding belt 43 by a coin detection sensor (not shown) of the feeding mechanism 31. The conveyor belt 83 is rotated to start the depositing operation.

In the feeding mechanism 31, the feeding belt 43 is rotated and the reverse rotation roller 44 is rotated in the reverse direction so that the unaligned coins on the feeding belt 43 are aligned in a single layer and fed to the delivery means 37. In the delivery means 37, the protrusions of the conveyor belt 83 that are rotated by feeding the coins fed from the feeding mechanism 31 one by one into the identification passage 32 by the operation of the width adjusting lever 47 and the cam 87 described above. Pass to 84.

Further, in the identification passage 32, the coin delivered by the delivery means 37 is pushed and conveyed by the protrusion 84 of the conveyor belt 83 and is identified by the identification unit 54.

As a result of the identification, the coins identified as proper coins pass through the reject portion 58 of the exclusion passage 33 and are conveyed to the classification passage 34. In the classification passage 34, the identification unit 54, the coin detection sensor 62, and the coin detection sensor 79 recognize the coin transfer position based on the detection by the coin detection sensor 79 and the transfer distance of the coin by the transfer belt 83. The coins whose denominations are identified are classified by the corresponding denomination classification gate 77 and stored in the corresponding denomination storing and dispensing unit 38.

At this time, as shown in FIG. 1, since the main unit 13 is housed in the airframe 12, the shutter 112 of the shutter mechanism 111 is in the classification hole opening position, and the opening 113 overlaps the opening state classification hole 76a. Since the open state classification hole 76a is in the open state, the coins that have been conveyed to the open state classification hole 76a, that is, 1-yen coins, are dropped and stored in the storage and dispensing unit 38 for 1-yen coins.

In addition, rejected coins that cannot be identified as a result of identification are rejected from the reject hole 59 by the reject gate 60 when reaching the reject part 58 of the rejection passage 33.

At this time, when an operation method in which the reject box 64 is not mounted is set, the reject coins removed from the reject hole 59 by the reject gate 60 are directly dropped onto the dispensing transport belt 102. Then, the dispensing conveyor belt 102 is rotated and the reverse rotation roller 103 is rotated in the reverse direction so that the reject coins on the dispensing conveyor belt 102 are fed one by one onto the passage plate 104, and a coin dispensing port is formed by the discharge belt 105. Pay out to 20. If the coin is no longer detected by the feeding mechanism 31 and the identification unit 54 does not detect the coin for a predetermined time, the LED 22 of the light emitting means 21 is lit in red to notify the coin dispensing port 20 that the reject coin has been paid out.

On the other hand, when the operation method in which the reject box 64 is mounted is set, the reject coins removed from the reject hole 59 by the reject gate 60 are stored in the reject box 64. The reject coins stored in the reject box 64 can be taken out by pulling out the main body unit 13, opening the lid 67, and pulling out the reject box 64 from the reject box mounting portion 65.

Further, during the deposit process, for example, a coin of a denomination cannot be branched by the classification gate 77 of the classification unit 75 of the corresponding denomination and is conveyed downstream from the denomination classification unit 75 in the deposit conveyance direction. When the coin detection sensor 79 on the downstream side in the direction detects the corresponding coin, it is determined that a classification error has occurred, and the depositing operation is immediately stopped with an error.

For example, when the error stopped state is the state shown in FIG. 1, coins C1 and C2 remain in the identification passage 32, and coins C3, C4, and C5 remain in the classification passage 34 (including the connection passage portion 73 and the direction change passage portion 74). , C6 remains. These coins C1 to C6 grasp the position on the passage based on the detection by the respective coin detection sensors 62, 79, 90, and even those already identified by the identification unit 54 are stored in the storage and dispensing unit 38. It is not added to the amount of coins present.

The fact that the error has stopped is displayed on the display unit 16 or the like, and the operator who confirms this cancels the error. In this error cancellation, as shown in FIG. 2, the main unit 13 is pulled out from the machine body 12, the upper part of the passage is opened, and the coins C1 to C6 remaining on the passages are removed.

At this time, by pulling out the main unit 13 from the machine body 12, the shutter 112 of the shutter mechanism 111 is moved to the classification hole closing position by the urging of the tension spring 115, and the closing part 114 closes the open state classification hole 76a. For this reason, for example, when the coin is difficult to be removed, the coin C6 moves to the opening state classification hole 76a when the conveyor belt 83 is manually rotated in the deposit conveyance direction and moved to a place where the coin can be easily removed. Even so, the coin C6 is not dropped by the shutter 112 closing the opening state classification hole 76a, and the coin C6 can be reliably taken out.

When the coins C1 to C6 on the passage have been taken out, the main unit 13 is pushed into the machine body 12 and stored, so that the guide surface 116 of the shutter 112 of the shutter mechanism 111 comes into contact with the front end of one side of the machine body 12, and the shutter 112 Is moved to the classification hole opening position while being accommodated in the airframe 12, and the opening 113 overlaps the opening state classification hole 76a so that the opening state classification hole 76a is in the open state.

The operator re-inserts the coins C1 to C6 taken out from the passage into the coin insertion slot 14. The depositing process is resumed automatically by storing the main unit 13 in the machine body 12 or by operating the operation unit 15.

Next, the withdrawal process will be described.

For example, in response to a withdrawal command signal from the POS register, the dispensing belt 94 rotates and the reverse rotation roller 97 rotates reversely, and one layer of unaligned coins on the dispensing belt 94 in each storage dispensing unit 38 is stored. Line up in one row and send out in the throwing direction.

In the storage / dispensing unit 38 for the denomination corresponding money type, the stopper 99 is opened, and coins are dispensed from the end of the dispensing belt 94 onto the dispensing conveyance belt 102 of the dispensing conveyance means 39. The thrown coins are detected by the throwing detection means 98 and the number of thrown coins is counted.

In the storage / disposal part 38 for the non-withdrawal denomination and the storage / disposal part 38 for the denomination-related denomination after the required number of coins have been dispensed, the stopper 99 is closed to restrict coins from being dispensed.

Then, the dispensing conveyor belt 102 of the dispensing conveyor means 39 is rotated and the reverse rotation roller 103 is rotated in the reverse direction, and the dispensing coins on the dispensing conveyor belt 102 are fed one by one onto the passage plate 104, It is paid out to the coin dispensing port 20 by the discharge belt 105. The operation of the dispensing transport means 39 may be started simultaneously with the start of the dispensing operation from the storage and dispensing unit 38 or after completion of the dispensing operation from all the storage and dispensing units 38. The coins to be paid out to the coin dispensing port 20 by the dispensing transport means 39 are detected by the dispensing detection means 106, and the number of dispenses is counted.

When the number of dispenses detected by the dispensing detection means 98 matches the number of dispenses detected by the dispensing detection means 106 and all the dispensed coins are paid out to the coin dispensing slot 20, the LED 22 of the light emitting means 21 is lit in green. Then, it informs the coin outlet 20 that the withdrawal coin has been paid out.

Next, the replenishment process will be described.

The replenishment process includes an initial replenishment when no coins are stored in the machine, and an intermediate replenishment when the amount of coins is reduced during operation. During the replenishment process, it is easy to insert a large amount of replenishment coins by opening the cover 17 of the coin insertion slot 14.

In the replenishment process, the replenishment coins inserted into the feeding mechanism 31 are fed one by one to the identification passage 32 and identified by the identification unit 54, as in the deposit process.

As a result of the identification, if it is a normal replenishment coin, it is stored in the denomination in the classification passage 34 and replenished by being stored in the denomination coin storage unit 38. Further, if it is a reject coin, it is removed by the reject unit 58 and returned to the coin dispensing port 20 through the dispensing transport means 39 or stored in the reject box 64.

Even during this replenishment process, if the error stops during the replenishment coin depositing operation, the error can be cleared by pulling out the main unit 13 from the machine body 12 and removing the coins on the passage, as in the above-described deposit process. After that, the main unit 13 is stored in the machine body 12 and the replenishment operation of the replenishment coins is resumed.

In this way, during the deposit process and the replenishment process, the shutter mechanism 111 holds the classification hole 76 in the open state during the regular process in which the deposit process is performed, but an error stop where coins stop on the passage during the deposit process. In order to prevent the coins from falling into the classification hole 76 during the error canceling process, the coins will not accidentally fall out of the classification hole 76, and the coins in the storage and dispensing unit 38 will not match the height. Can be prevented.

Also, by pulling out the main unit 13 from the machine body 12, the shutter mechanism 111 interlocks and automatically closes the classification hole 76, so that no special operation is required and coins can be accidentally dropped from the classification hole 76. It can be surely prevented.

Note that the opening and closing of the shutter mechanism 111 is not limited to the configuration interlocked with the drawer of the main unit 13 from the body 12, but may be interlocked with the opening of the main unit 13 from the body 12.

In addition, the case where the classification hole 76 located at the end of the coin conveyance direction among the plurality of classification holes 76 of the classification passage 34 is in the open state is shown, but when the plurality of classification holes are in the open state, or all of the classification holes 76 Even when the classification holes are in the open state, the shutter mechanism can be applied to the classification holes in the open state to prevent coins from falling when the error is released.

Moreover, although the coin depositing / dispensing machine 11 capable of depositing / withdrawing is shown as an example of the coin depositing / dispensing machine, a coin depositing machine dedicated to depositing may be used.
