Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fuel cell system that generates power using reformed gas and air, and a reformed material vaporization method for vaporizing a liquid reformed material to be supplied to a reformer that generates reformed gas. is there.
Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) system is a reformer for generating hydrogen-containing gas (reformed gas) obtained by reforming fuel such as kerosene and city gas. And a cell stack for electrochemically generating and reacting the reformed gas and air. For the reforming, various reactions such as steam reforming (SR) and partial oxidation reforming (POX) are used. When the reforming raw material is liquid, it is vaporized and then supplied to the reformer. For example, in the case of steam reforming (see Patent Document 1 or 2), reforming water is vaporized by a vaporizer, mixed with fuel gas, and supplied to the reformer. Further, when the raw fuel such as kerosene is in a liquid state, the fuel is vaporized by a vaporizer, mixed with water vapor, and then supplied to the reformer. The cell stack is normally operated at a high temperature of 550 ° C. to 1000 ° C. During the operation of the cell stack, the amount of air supplied to the cathode is adjusted to maintain the cell stack at a predetermined temperature. Has been done. The vaporization in the vaporizer is performed by heat exchange with the off-gas combustion gas from the cell stack.
However, in the conventional fuel cell system, for example, when the flow rate of air supplied to the cathode is changed during the load following operation, and the amount of heat input to the carburetor due to off-gas combustion gas changes suddenly, bumping occurs. May occur. When bumping occurs, flow rate fluctuations occur in the reforming raw material supplied from the vaporizer to the reformer, and accordingly, flow rate fluctuations occur in the reformed gas supplied from the reformer to the cell stack. As a result, voltage fluctuation occurs in the cell stack. The voltage fluctuation increases as the current increases. When the voltage fluctuation is large, a large current cannot be taken out, so that the output density or the power generation efficiency decreases.
The present invention aims to solve the above-described problems, and a fuel cell system and a reforming system that enable stable vaporization in a carburetor to prevent a decrease in output density or a decrease in power generation efficiency in a fuel cell stack. It aims at providing the raw material vaporization method.
A fuel cell system according to the present invention includes a vaporizer that vaporizes a liquid reforming raw material and a reformer generated by the reformer to supply a reformer that generates hydrogen-containing reformed gas. A fuel cell stack that generates power using gas, and a heat conduction member that transmits heat of the fuel cell stack to a vaporizer by heat conduction are provided.
In general, the heat capacity of the fuel cell stack is large and the temperature hardly changes. On the other hand, the temperature of the vaporization part (part where the phase is changed from liquid to gas) is kept at the boiling point. Therefore, since the temperature difference between the fuel cell stack and the vaporization part is unlikely to change, according to the fuel cell system described above in which the heat of the fuel cell stack conducts heat to the vaporizer via the heat conducting member, Compared to the case where heat is transferred by convection, the amount of heat transferred from the fuel cell stack to the vaporizer can be stabilized, and bumping can be reduced. When bumping is reduced, vaporization in the vaporizer becomes stable, and fluctuations in the flow rate of the reforming raw material supplied to the reformer and in the fuel cell stack are reduced. The voltage fluctuation becomes small and it becomes easy to take out a large current, so that a decrease in output density or a decrease in power generation efficiency is prevented. Furthermore, by reducing the voltage fluctuation, there is a possibility that the deterioration of the fuel cell stack is delayed and the life can be extended.
Further, in the vaporizer, the reforming raw material is divided into a liquid phase and a gas phase, and it is preferable that the heat conducting member has a heat transfer portion immersed in the liquid phase. Stable vaporization becomes possible by transferring the heat of the fuel cell stack to the liquid reforming material via the contact surface of the heat transfer unit with the reforming material.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the vaporizer has a housing part that stores the reforming raw material and heat conductive particles filled in at least a lower region in the housing part. By having heat transfer particles, the heat capacity of the vaporizer can be increased to suppress temperature fluctuations, and furthermore, the heat transfer area in contact with the liquid reforming raw material by filling particles in at least the lower region in the casing Can be increased. Furthermore, since a large number of passages through which the reforming raw material passes are formed by the gaps between the particles, the gas reforming raw material closes the flow path, and even if bumping accompanying it occurs, the occurrence points of bumping are dispersed, Furthermore, the probability that a plurality of bumps occur at the same time is reduced, the amplitude of the evaporation vibration due to bumping can be greatly reduced, and vaporization can be stably performed.
Further, the heat conducting member has a conduction heat receiving portion in contact with the fuel cell stack. By having a conduction heat receiving part, the heat of the fuel cell stack can be transferred to the heat conduction member by heat conduction, and the heat can be conducted to the vaporizer, so the amount of heat input to the vaporizer is stabilized, and the vaporizer It is effective for stable vaporization.
Alternatively, the heat conducting member has a radiation heat receiving portion that receives heat from the fuel cell stack by heat radiation. Even if the heat conducting member is slightly separated from the fuel cell stack, by having the radiation heat receiving portion, heat can be received by heat radiation, and the heat can be conducted to the vaporizer to vaporize the reforming raw material. As a result, the amount of heat input to the vaporizer is stabilized, and stable vaporization in the vaporizer is possible.
The present invention also relates to a method of vaporizing a liquid reforming raw material for supplying to a reformer that generates a reformed gas used in a fuel cell stack, the heat conduction of the fuel cell stack The reforming material is vaporized by transferring heat to the reforming material via the member.
According to this method, the amount of heat transferred from the fuel cell stack to the reforming raw material can be stabilized and bumping can be reduced as compared with the case where heat is transferred by convection through the off-gas combustion gas.
According to the present invention, stable vaporization can be performed in the carburetor, and reduction in output density or power generation efficiency in the fuel cell stack can be prevented.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of a fuel cell system according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

The

The
The
During the operation of the
At this time, the
There are three basic forms of heat transfer, that is, heat transfer: heat conduction, heat transfer (convection), and heat radiation (radiation). Thermal conduction is a form of heat transfer that moves inside a body from a high temperature side to a low temperature side when there is a temperature difference inside the body. Heat transfer is a form of heat transfer in which heat is transferred between a solid surface and a fluid. Thermal radiation is a form of heat transfer in which thermal energy is transferred from a hot object to a cold object in the form of electromagnetic waves. In the method of vaporizing reforming water (reforming raw material) by the
In general, the heat capacity of the
Further, in the
Furthermore, since the
Furthermore, since the
Furthermore, the

A plurality of
The
In the present embodiment, the heat
Although the
In the above-described embodiment, the
In the above embodiment, the heat of the
Further, in the
