Abstract
Description
(i)肺機能障害、例えば慢性閉塞性肺疾患(COPD)、肺気腫、喘息の患者用。
(ii)人が耐えられないほど酸素分圧の低い高所用。例えば、航空機内の酸素マスク、または高地登山で使用される装置。
(iii)酸素量の追加が患者に対して治療効果を有する一般的な酸素療法用。
(iv)患者が吸入可能な量のみ薬を送達することに利点があるネブライザとの併用。
Claims (23)
- ユーザ供給管路において呼吸用気体の供給を受け入れるための入口とユーザに接続するための出口との間に接続される主制御バルブと、前記主制御バルブの開閉を制御するための主バルブタイマ手段と、ユーザによる吸入を検出すると前記主制御バルブを開放し、予め定めた持続時間にわたる気体パルスを前記出口へ送るよう前記主バルブタイマ手段をトリガするための検出手段とを備えた呼吸用気体のための空気圧式節約装置(conserving device)であって、前記検出手段の動作を抑止するための手段と、前記検出手段の動作を前記気体パルスの前記出口への送出に続く予め定めた時間にわたって抑止するよう前記抑止する手段を制御するための遅延タイマ手段とを特徴とする空気圧式節約装置。
- 前記遅延タイマ手段が、検出遅延ボリュームと、前記ボリュームを加圧するための手段と、前記ボリュームを通気するための手段とを備える、請求項1記載の節約装置。
- 前記加圧する手段が、前記検出遅延ボリューム内へのフローを許容するが、逆方向へは許容しない一方向バルブを含む、請求項2記載の節約装置。
- 前記検出遅延ボリュームをユーザ供給管路から加圧するために、前記加圧する手段が前記主制御バルブの下流側の一点でユーザ供給管路へ接続される、請求項2または3のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記主制御バルブの下流側でユーザ供給管路へ接続される流量計測バルブをさらに含み、前記加圧する手段が前記主制御バルブと前記流量計測バルブとの間の一点でユーザ供給管路へ接続される、請求項4記載の節約装置。
- 前記遅延タイマ手段が内部に可動部材を有する円筒を備え、前記検出遅延ボリュームが前記円筒内の前記可動部材の片側に画定されるチャンバである、請求項2〜5のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記円筒が、前記可動部材を前記検出遅延ボリュームの容量を減少させる方向に偏倚するための偏倚手段を含む、請求項6記載の節約装置。
- 前記可動部材がダイアフラムの形をとる、請求項6または7のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記可動部材がピストンの形をとる、請求項6または7のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記通気する手段が、気体の通過を抑制して前記検出遅延ボリュームの通気を遅らせる流量制限器を含む、請求項2〜9のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記通気する手段が、前記ボリュームを大気へ通気するための通気管路を含む、請求項2〜10のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記通気する手段が、前記ボリュームを前記主制御バルブ下流のユーザ供給管路へ通気するための通気管路を含む、請求項2〜10のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記検出する手段が検出バルブを含み、前記バルブタイマ手段が、主制御ボリュームと、前記主制御ボリューム内の圧力レベルにしたがって前記主制御バルブを開閉するための手段とを備え、前記検出バルブが、前記検出する手段がユーザによる吸入を検出すると前記主制御バルブを開放してユーザへ気体を供給するために前記ボリューム内の圧力を急速に変化させるような方法で前記主制御ボリュームへ接続される、請求項2〜12のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記検出遅延ボリュームを加圧するための手段が、ユーザによる吸入の検出に続いて前記主制御バルブが開放された後にのみ前記ボリュームを加圧する類のものである、請求項13記載の節約装置。
- 前記抑止する手段が、検出遅延バルブと、前記検出遅延ボリューム内の圧力が予め定めた第1のレベルを超えて上昇すると前記バルブを閉じ、また前記検出遅延ボリューム内の圧力が予め定めた第2のレベルより下に低下すると前記バルブを開放するための制御手段とを備える、請求項13または14のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記制御手段が、その移動に伴って前記検出遅延バルブを開閉するように配置された可動部材を備える、請求項15及び請求項6〜9のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記検出する手段がさらに、検出ボリュームと、ユーザによる吸入に起因する陰圧を受けるよう前記検出ボリュームを接続するための手段と、前記検出ボリューム内の圧力が陰圧となりユーザによる吸入が示されると前記検出バルブを開放するための制御手段とを含む、請求項15または16のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記接続する手段が前記検出ボリュームをユーザ供給管路へ接続する管路を備える、請求項17記載の節約装置。
- ダブルチューブカニューレへ接続するための装置であって、前記接続する手段が前記検出ボリュームを前記ダブルチューブカニューレの一方のチューブへ接続するための手段を備え、出口がダブルチューブカニューレのもう一方のチューブへ接続される、請求項17記載の節約装置。
- 前記検出遅延バルブが、閉止時には前記検出バルブを隔離し、前記主制御ボリューム内の圧力変化を防止するように前記主制御ボリュームと前記検出バルブとの間へ接続される、請求項15〜19のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記検出遅延バルブが、閉止時には前記検出バルブによるユーザ供給管路内の圧力の検出を防止するように、ユーザ供給管路と前記検出ボリュームとの間へ接続される、請求項17〜19のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記抑止する手段が、前記検出遅延ボリューム内の圧力にしたがって前記検出バルブの動作を防止する第1の位置と前記検出バルブの動作を防止しない第2の位置との間を移動可能な抑止部材を備える、請求項13または14のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
- 前記抑止部材が前記可動部材に連結され、前記検出遅延ボリューム内の圧力変化に伴って前記可動部材が移動し、前記抑止部材をその第1の位置から第2の位置へ、またこの逆に移動させる、請求項21及び請求項6〜9のいずれか一項に記載の節約装置。
