Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- γ線を放射する放射性医薬品を注入された被検体を支持し、検出領域を貫くように前記被検体の選択された生体構造を移動させる被検体支持台表面;
データ収集処理中に、前記被検体支持台表面の位置を監視する被検体支持台モニター;
放射されたγ線を検出し、それらを少なくとも検出位置を示す電気信号に変換するγ線検出器の組立体;
前記電気信号及び対応する被検体支持台位置のバッチを一時的に格納する記憶バッファ;及び
前記記憶バッファが前記電気信号及び対応する被検体支持台位置の次のバッチを格納するとき、前記記憶バッファからの1つの信号バッチを画像表示に再構成する再構成プロセッサ;
を有する核放出装置。 - 前記検出器は、消滅事象から同時に放射されたγ線対を受け取るように配置されている、請求項1に記載の装置であって:
γ線の受取の相対時間を記録する時間記録器;及び
対応するγ線対を特定する一致検出器であり、前記記憶バッファは検出された各対のγ線の前記検出位置を格納する、一致検出器;
を更に有する装置。 - 前記検出位置及び前記相対検出時間から、前記消滅事象が起こった前記検出位置間の光線のセグメントを決定する飛行時間プロセッサであり、前記再構成プロセッサは前記光線のセグメントを前記画像表示に再構成する、飛行時間プロセッサ;
を更に有する請求項2に記載の装置。 - 受け取ったγ線対について、それらが有効な消滅事象を起源とするものかどうか決定するために、それらの受取位置及び時間を前処理する事象分析器;
を更に有する請求項3に記載の装置。 - 前記事象分析器は、有効な消滅事象を決定するために、被検体支持台位置情報及び飛行時間情報を使用する、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 受け取ったγ線の再構成を調整するための絶対的なシステム時間の基準を、前記時間記録器、前記被検体支持台モニター、前記記憶バッファ、及び事象分析器に供給するシステムクロック;
を更に有する請求項3に記載の装置。 - 前記再構成プロセッサは、データの収集と実質的に同時に再構成を開始する、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記記憶バッファは、1つの区画が新たに収集されたデータを受け取る間に他の区画内の格納データが再構成されるように、交互にトグル切替される2つの区画を含む、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記記憶バッファの各バッチは1秒の1/100から1/10の期間にわたって収集される、請求項3に記載の装置。
- γ線を放射する放射性医薬品を注入された被検体を支持しながら、検出領域を貫くように前記被検体の選択された生体構造を移動させる段階;
データ収集処理中に、前記被検体の位置を監視する段階;
放射されたγ線を検出し、γ線対が同時に検出されたγ線検出位置を示す電気信号を生成する段階;
同時のγ線対の各々を受け取った相対検出時間を記録する段階;
電気信号を示す検出位置を対応する被検体支持台位置及び相対検出時間とともにバッチにして一時的に格納する段階;
同時のγ線対を、それらが有効な消滅事象を起源とするものであるか決定するために分析する段階;及び
対応する被検体支持台位置を伴う前記電気信号の次のバッチが格納されるとき、一時的に格納された前記電気信号の1つのバッチを取り出して再構成する段階;
を有する核放出撮像方法。 - 各バッチは1秒の1/100から1/10の期間にわたって蓄積される、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 消滅事象から同時に放射されたγ線対を受け取るように検出器を位置付ける段階;
γ線を受け取った相対検出時間を記録する段階;及び
対応する同時のγ線対を特定し、検出された同時のγ線対の各々の検出位置を格納する段階;
を更に有する請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記検出位置間の光線を決定する段階;
前記相対検出時間から、前記同時のγ線対について、消滅事象が起こった光線セグメントを決定する段階;及び
前記光線セグメントを画像表示に再構成する段階;
を更に有する請求項12に記載の方法。 - 前記同時のγ線対が有効な消滅事象を起源とするものかどうか決定するために、前記同時のγ線対を前処理する段階;
を更に有する請求項13に記載の方法。 - データの収集と実質的に同時に再構成を開始する段階;
を更に有する請求項12に記載の方法。 - 格納されたデータが再構成されるときに、新たに収集されたデータを受け取る段階;
を更に有する請求項12に記載の方法。 - γ線は少なくとも毎秒100,000個の速度で検出され、各バッチはおよそ1,000から10,000個のγ線対を格納する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 被検体支持台は数分の期間をかけてγ線検出領域を貫くように移動する、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 請求項10に記載の方法を実行する装置。
- 請求項13に記載の方法を実行する飛行時間PETスキャナ。
