該感光体は、
導電性支持体と感光層とを有しており、かつ
下記一般式(1)で示される繰り返し構造単位と下記一般式(2)で示される繰り返し構造単位を有し末端の片方又は両方が下記一般式(3)で示される末端構造を有し、また、一般式(2)及び一般式(3)におけるシロキサン部の平均繰返し数m及びnの関係がm=nであるポリカーボネート重合体と、下記化学式(4)で示されるポリジメチルシロキサンを含む表面層を有しているものであり、
該帯電部材は、下記式(5)で示される加水分解性シラン化合物と、下記式(6)で示されるアリール基を有する加水分解性シラン化合物と、下記式(7)で示されるカチオン重合可能な基を有する加水分解性シラン化合物とを加水分解して得たカチオン重合可能な基を有する縮合物の該カチオン重合可能な基を開裂させて架橋させたポリシロキサンからなり、該化学式(4)で示されるポリジメチルシロキサンに対する接触角が、10.0°以上70.0°以下である最表面を有する表面層を有しているものであることを特徴とするプロセスカートリッジ。
