車両の後側方を映し出すミラー本体と、このミラー本体を保持する保持部と、この保持部が支持され、車体側に着脱自在に取付けられる取付部とを有する車両用後側方視認装置であって、
前記取付部の車幅外方に前記保持部を位置させ、これらの保持部の外方に前記ミラー本体を位置させるときに、前記取付部、前記保持部及びミラー本体は、前記車体の幅方向中心に関し対称配置可能に形成され、前記車体の前側左右のウインドウの少なくともどちらか一方に挟持されることを特徴とする車両用後側方視認装置。
