Description

The present invention relates to a varnish impregnation apparatus.

As a method for impregnating a coil such as a motor with varnish, there are a drip method, a dipping method, a rotating dipping method and the like. In either case, the varnish is permeated from the outside after the coil is formed. Moreover, in order to prevent a varnish from dripping, it has the structure of the apparatus characterized by the method of hardening and adhering through each process of preheating-impregnation-gelling-hardening-cooling.

Another varnish impregnation method is described in Patent Document 1 described later. After impregnating the varnish, in order to prevent the varnish from flowing out from the inside of the coil, the stator is placed in a vacuum pack to prevent the varnish from flowing out, and then only the surface of the varnish is cured with ultraviolet rays. is there.
JP-A-6-121498

In the former method, the varnish is impregnated after the wire is wound (after the coil is formed). In order to prevent the varnish from flowing out from the inside of the coil before curing, each workpiece in the apparatus is rotated while slowly rotating the workpiece. Since the process is moved, the structure becomes large, and particularly when the workpiece is large, the apparatus itself becomes large and expensive, and the manufacturing cost of the coil also increases. In addition, the impregnation state of the varnish inside the coil may be uneven, or the varnish may adhere to an unnecessary part such as a part other than the coil.

The latter method requires labor and equipment for making a vacuum pack, and when the bag is removed after curing, the varnish and the bag are fixed, making it difficult to remove and increasing the manufacturing cost of the coil.

Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and provides a varnish impregnation apparatus capable of preventing adhesion of varnish to unnecessary portions and sufficiently impregnating the varnish into the coil. Is an issue.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the technical means taken in the present invention includes a tension device for applying tension to a wire and winding the wire around a bobbin so as to form a coil. A varnish impregnation device provided in a winding device comprising a wire winding device, the varnish application device being provided between the tension device and the wire winding device, and for applying a varnish to the wire, And a varnish application amount adjusting device that is provided between the varnish application device and the wire winding device and adjusts the application amount of the varnish on the wire.

Preferably, as described in claim 2, the varnish is an ultraviolet curable varnish, and may include an ultraviolet irradiation device that irradiates ultraviolet rays onto the surface of the coil formed on the bobbin.

Preferably, as described in claim 3, a varnish re-coating device capable of re-applying the varnish to the surface of the coil before the ultraviolet irradiation device irradiates the surface of the coil with ultraviolet light.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, when the coil is impregnated with the varnish, the varnish is directly applied to the wire before being wound around the bobbin (that is, the wire before forming the coil). Can prevent varnish from adhering to various parts. Moreover, since the application amount of the varnish on the wire is adjusted, the varnish is stably applied to the wire without unevenness. By winding the wire on which the varnish is uniformly applied around the bobbin, a coil in which the varnish is sufficiently impregnated can be formed. That is, the varnish can be sufficiently impregnated inside the coil.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, after the coil is formed on the bobbin by the wire winding device, the varnish on the surface of the coil is cured by the irradiation of the ultraviolet rays, so that the varnish can be prevented from flowing out from the inside of the coil. .

According to the third aspect of the present invention, since the varnish can be applied again to the surface of the coil before the varnish on the surface of the coil is cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays, unevenness of the varnish on the surface of the coil can be prevented.

The best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 shows a winding device 10 provided with a varnish impregnation device 20 according to the present invention, wherein (a) is a plan view and (b) is a side view.

The winding device 10 includes a tension device 11 that applies tension to the wire 1, a nozzle unit 12 that controls the position where the coil 3 is wound, and the coil 3 in order from the upstream side in the feeding direction of the wire 1. A spindle unit 13 (wire winding device) that winds the wire 1 around the bobbin 2 to be formed on the bobbin 2 is provided.

Note that the tension device 11 side in the entire winding device 10 is the front side and the spindle unit 13 side is the rear side, and the front, rear, left, and right used below refer to the front, rear, left and right in the whole winding device 10.

The tension device 11 has a predetermined tension in order to suppress bending or loosening of the wire 1 when the wire 1 supplied from a wire supply reel (not shown) is wound around the bobbin 2 by the operation of the spindle unit 13. Is attached to the wire 1.

The nozzle unit 12 has a nozzle 12a that determines the position of the wire 1 by allowing the wire 1 to pass therethrough. For the wire 1 whose position changes by being wound around the bobbin 2 by the spindle unit 13 on the rear side. Then, the wire 1 is wound around the bobbin 2 in an aligned state by controlling the nozzle 12a in the XYZ directions.

The spindle unit 13 supports the bobbin 2 around which the wire 1 is wound, and rotates the bobbin 2 around an axis extending in the left-right direction. The rotation speed of the bobbin 2 can be controlled by a servo motor (not shown). It has become.

The varnish impregnation device 20 is provided between the tension device 11 and the nozzle unit 12. As shown in FIG. 2, the varnish impregnation apparatus 20 includes an application block 21 (varnish application apparatus) that suspends the varnish from the upper side to the wire 1, a varnish receiver 22 that receives the varnish that has not been applied to the wire 1, and a wire 1 is provided with a scraper 23 (varnish application amount adjusting device) for removing excess varnish from the varnish applied.

The application block 21 is formed with a plurality of discharge ports 21a (numbered at only one place) at a predetermined interval in the front-rear direction, that is, the extending direction of the wire 1, and the lower side of the plurality of discharge ports 21a. The varnish is dropped toward the wire 1, and the varnish is applied to the surface of the wire 1.

The scraper 23 is formed with an insertion hole 23a through which the wire 1 can pass on the front side, and is connected to a tapered hole portion 23b that increases in diameter toward the rear side from the insertion hole 23a, and a large diameter side of the tapered hole portion 23b. The large-diameter hole 23c forms a shape formed on the rear side, and excess varnish is removed from the varnish applied to the wire 1. Thereby, the wire 1 passing through the insertion hole 23a of the scraper 23 is in a state where a certain amount of varnish is applied to the entire circumferential surface. That is, the scraper 23 adjusts the coating amount (varnish thickness) of the varnish on the wire 1.

The varnish receiver 22 receives the varnish from the coating block 21 and receives the excess varnish removed by the scraper 23. The varnish received by the varnish receiver 22 is supplied to the application block 21 by the pump 24.

In this embodiment, an ultraviolet curing type (ultraviolet curing type) varnish with a viscosity of 1.2 Pa · sec is used, but for example, a viscosity of about 0.2 to 2.0 Pa · sec can be applied. is there.

In place of the coating block 21 and the scraper 23 described above, the one shown in FIG. 3 can be applied. This uses a member 25 such as felt soaked with varnish. As the wire 1 passes through the hole 26 formed in the member 25, the varnish is applied to the surface of the wire 1. By appropriately setting the dimension (inner diameter) of the hole 26, the amount (thickness) of the varnish applied to the wire 1 can be adjusted. That is, the member 25 serves as both the application block 21 and the scraper 23 described above.

The varnish impregnation device 20 further includes an ultraviolet irradiation device 27 and a varnish re-coating device 28.

The ultraviolet irradiation device 27 is provided in the vicinity of the spindle unit 13. The ultraviolet irradiator 27 irradiates the surface of the coil 3 with ultraviolet rays after the coil 3 is formed on the bobbin 2 by the spindle unit 13, thereby curing the varnish on the surface of the coil 3. In addition, although the intensity | strength of the ultraviolet-ray in this embodiment is 80 mW / square centimeter, the thing of intensity | strength about 50-150 mW / square centimeter is applicable, for example. Moreover, although the distance between the light source of the ultraviolet irradiation device 27 and the irradiation object (coil 3 formed on the bobbin 2) is set to 150 mm in this embodiment, the intensity of the irradiated ultraviolet light and the irradiation object For example, a distance of about 50 to 200 mm can be set according to the shape and the like. Thereby, the varnish of the surface of the coil 3 wound around the bobbin 2 can be hardened, and the outflow of the uncured varnish from the inside of the coil 3 can be suppressed.

The varnish re-coating device 28 is provided in the vicinity of the spindle unit 13. The varnish re-coating device 28 uses a brush, felt or the like after the wire 1 is wound around the bobbin 2 and the coil 3 is formed on the bobbin 2 and before the varnish on the surface of the coil 3 is cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays. Thus, the varnish can be applied again to the surface of the coil 3, and the amount of varnish applied (varnish thickness) on the surface of the coil 3 can be adjusted (constant varnish thickness, etc.).

Hereinafter, the operation of the winding device 11 provided with the varnish impregnation device 20 will be described.

The spindle unit 13 is driven and the wire 1 is fed out. The drawn-out wire 1 passes under the coating block 21 of the varnish impregnation apparatus 20 and then passes through the scraper 23. During this time, the varnish dripped from the coating block 21 is applied to the surface of the wire 1, and excess varnish applied to the surface of the wire 1 is removed.

The wire 1 coated with the varnish passes through the nozzle 12 a of the nozzle unit 12 and is wound around the bobbin 2 that is rotated by the spindle unit 13. Thereby, the wire 1 coated with the varnish is wound around the bobbin 2, and the coil 3 is formed on the bobbin 2.

After the coil 3 is formed on the bobbin 2, the ultraviolet irradiation device 27 irradiates the surface of the coil 3 with ultraviolet rays to cure the varnish on the surface of the coil 3. By rotating the bobbin 2 by the spindle unit 13 while being irradiated with ultraviolet rays, it is possible to cure the varnish around the entire surface of the coil 3 evenly by applying ultraviolet rays from one direction.

In addition, if there is a partial unevenness in the application state of the varnish on the surface of the coil 3 before irradiation with ultraviolet rays, the varnish is applied again to the portion on the surface of the coil 3 by the varnish reapplying device 28.

After the varnish on the surface of the coil 3 is cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays, the bobbin 2 is placed in a heating furnace (not shown) and heated, whereby the varnish impregnated in the coil 3 is completely cured. In this case, the varnish existing on the surface of the coil 3 is hardened by the irradiation of the ultraviolet rays, and the varnish existing inside the coil 3 does not flow out. Therefore, special and expensive equipment is unnecessary, and it can be handled by a normal heating furnace.

As described above, according to the varnish impregnation apparatus 20 of the present invention, when the coil 3 is impregnated with the varnish, the varnish is applied to the wire 1 before being wound around the bobbin 2 (that is, the wire 1 before forming the coil 3). Is directly applied, so that the varnish can be prevented from adhering to unnecessary portions other than the coil 3. Moreover, since the application amount of the varnish in the wire 1 is adjusted, the varnish is stably applied to the wire 1 without unevenness. By winding the wire 1 on which the varnish is applied evenly around the bobbin 2, the coil 3 in which the varnish is sufficiently impregnated can be formed. That is, the varnish can be sufficiently impregnated inside the coil.

In addition, after the coil 3 is formed on the bobbin 2 by the spindle unit 13, the varnish on the surface of the coil 3 is cured by irradiation of ultraviolet rays. Therefore, in order to cure the varnish inside the coil 3, the bobbin 2 is heated by a heating furnace or the like. When transported to another facility (not shown), it is possible to prevent the varnish from flowing out of the coil 3.

Moreover, since the varnish on the surface of the coil 3 can be applied again on the surface of the coil 3 before the varnish on the surface of the coil 3 is cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays, partial unevenness of the varnish on the surface of the coil 3 can be prevented.

Further, by incorporating the varnish impregnation into the winding process of the wire 1, the process can be shortened, and the cost for the equipment can be reduced.
