Description

The present invention relates to a terminal pipe in a header pipe branched from a header such as water supply or hot water supply.

An embodiment for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 to 3, the terminal pipe 1 includes a pipe main body 2, and a cover part 3 and a connection part 4 that are integrally formed with the pipe main body at both ends of the pipe main body.

The terminal tube 1 is a plastic tube whose outer peripheral surface of the tube main body 2 is formed in a bellows shape by a groove 21 and can be expanded and contracted in the axial direction of the tube main body. The groove 21 in the terminal tube 1 is V-shaped as shown in FIG. 2, and one side 21a constituting the V-shape is longer than the other side 21b. For this reason, the terminal tube 1 can maintain this form in the contracted state like the terminal tube shown on the right side in FIG. 11 and does not automatically expand and restore by a spring force. And as shown in FIG. 1, even when extended | stretched, an expansion | extension state is maintainable.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, the cover 3 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape at one end (upper end) of the terminal tube 1. The cover part 3 can cover the joint 6 that is a connection port of the header 5. The lower half part of the cover part 3 forms a support part 31 for attaching the pipe identification display plate 7 to the outer peripheral surface thereof. The support portion 31 is formed with a locking groove 31 a that is a locking portion for locking the pipe identification display plate 7.
3 to 5 and 9 to 11, the pipe identification display plate 7 is configured by an elastically deformable cylinder whose horizontal section is formed in a C shape. On the front side of the pipe identification display plate 7 is an indication of the equipment name (for example, a water heater, a bathroom shower, a kitchen sink, etc.) through which the flowing water pipes 9A and 9B (FIG. 11) are pipes penetrating the terminal pipe 1. The opening 71 is provided on the back surface.
The display unit 71 displays the identification display character 71a, “Hot water heater” in FIG. 3, “Hot water heater” and “Shower” in FIG. 11, and the terminal pipe 1 leads to “Hot water heater” and “Shower”. It corresponds to the flowing water pipes 9A and 9B. The pipe identification display plate 7 can be elastically deformed outward by the presence of the opening 72 to widen the opening. The pipe identification display plate 7 has an engagement rib 73 as an engagement portion formed in the circumferential direction on the inner peripheral surface thereof. The engaging rib 73 can be engaged with the locking groove 31 a of the support portion 31.
In order to attach the pipe identification display plate 7 to the support part 31 of the cover part 3, the pipe identification display plate is pulled outward to widen the opening 72, and this opening is directed to the outer peripheral surface on the front side of the support part 31. Fit it into the support while pressing.
In addition, the symbol “9” is used when generically referring to running water pipes (FIG. 11).

The connecting portion 4 is formed at the other end (lower end) of the pipe body 2. The connection part 4 is formed in a cylindrical shape as shown in FIGS. As shown in FIG. 2, the connecting portion 4 is formed in a shape in which the opening 41 side is expanded outward, and a locking piece 42 is integrally formed at the edge of the opening. The locking piece 42 is formed around the entire edge of the opening 41. The locking piece 42 is in a state of protruding (exposed) outward as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 before use, and when used, the opening is open as shown in FIGS. 41 is bent inside. Thus, the locking piece 42 can be bent toward the inside or the outside of the opening 41.
When the locking piece 42 is bent inward as shown in FIG. 6, the cross-sectional shape of the side edge of the opening 41 forms a “le” shape, and as shown in FIG. When bent outward, the cross-sectional shape forms a mountain shape.
The protective tube 8 can be inserted into the connecting portion 4 through the opening 41 as shown in FIGS. The protective pipe 8 protects the end of the water pipe 9 penetrating the inside, and a groove 81 is provided on the outer periphery thereof. The flowing water pipe 9 is connected to the joint 6 of the header 5 (FIG. 11).
The locking piece 42 can be engaged with the groove 81 of the protective tube 8.
A plurality of reinforcing concave grooves 43 are formed on the entire outer peripheral surface of the connecting portion 4 (FIG. 1).

The mutual relationship between the terminal pipe 1 and the joint 6 and the protective pipe 8 will be described.
The relationship between the terminal pipe 1 and the joint 6 will be described.
The terminal pipe 1 is connected to a header 5 for water supply or hot water supply, and seals the terminal portion of the flowing water pipe 9 piped inside. The cover portion 3 of the terminal pipe 1 covers the joint 6 of the header 5 so as to wrap it from below, and is configured to receive water leaking from the joint (FIGS. 1 and 11).
The relationship between the terminal tube 1 and the protective tube 8 will be described.
As shown in FIGS. 3 to 6, the terminal of the protective tube 8 is inserted into the connecting portion 4 of the terminal tube 1 from the opening 41. In a state where the end of the protection tube 8 is inserted into the connection portion 4, the locking piece 42 of the connection portion is engaged with the groove 81 of the protection tube 8. Through this engagement, the terminal tube 1 is securely connected to the protective tube 8.
In order to release the connection between the terminal tube 1 and the protective tube 8, when the protective tube is pulled strongly downward in FIG. 3, the groove 81 with which the locking piece 42 is engaged moves downward. In this process, the upper end side of the locking piece is pulled downward, and is eventually elastically deformed and bent downward, so that the locking function for the groove is weakened. By pulling the protective tube further downward, the protective tube is Pulled out of the tube.
On the contrary, in order to connect the protective tube 8 to the terminal tube 1, when the terminal of the protective tube is pushed into the opening 41 of the connecting portion 4, the locking piece 42 is pressed upward in FIG. The side is elastically deformed and bent inward, the end of the protective tube is inserted into the connection portion, and the locking piece 42 is eventually engaged with the groove 81. Since the locking piece 42 is bent inward and upward, it engages with the groove 81 of the protective tube 8, so that the protective tube is difficult to be detached from the connecting portion 4 downward in FIG. 6, and the terminal tube 1 and the protective tube This is a secure connection. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 11, a plurality of joints 6 are attached to the lower part of the header 5 at predetermined intervals in the axial direction, and joints are attached to both ends although not shown. . Each joint 6 is connected to a terminal of a water pipe 9 (9A, 9B) for supplying water or hot water to a water heater, a bathroom shower, a kitchen sink or the like.

The piping action of the terminal pipe 1 will be described.
The locking piece 42 in the terminal tube 1 may be bent in advance to the inside of the opening 41 as shown by a chain line in FIG. 2, but is exposed to the outside as shown by the solid line in FIG.
First, in order to connect the protective tube 8 to the connection portion 4 of the terminal tube 1, when the terminal portion (upper end portion) of the protective tube is pushed into the opening 41, the locking piece 42 moves upward as shown by a chain line in FIG. In order to be pressed, the whole is elastically deformed and bent upward, the distal end side of the end of the protective tube is inserted into the opening, and the pushing of the protective tube is stopped, as shown in FIG. The locking piece 42 is engaged with the groove 81 of the protective tube 8 in a state of being bent inward. By this engagement, the protective tube 8 is connected to the terminal tube 1 via the connection portion 4.
Next, as shown in FIG. 11, the upper end of the flowing water pipe 9 </ b> A is passed from the lower end side of the protective pipe 8, and the upper end is raised to sequentially penetrate the protective pipe and the terminal pipe 1. At the stage of protrusion, the upper end of the water pipe is further pulled upward to reach the joint 6, and the terminal of the water pipe is connected to the joint 6.
Thereafter, when the cover part 3 of the terminal pipe 1 is pulled upward in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 11, the terminal pipe is extended, and the extension operation is stopped when the cover part reaches a position completely covering the joint 6. To do. Even at the stage of stopping, the extension state of the terminal pipe is maintained, and the work of header piping by the terminal pipe is completed as shown in FIG.
As a result, the end portion of the flowing water pipe 9A located in the gap between the protective pipe 8 and the header 5 is sealed by the terminal pipe 1, and the water leaking from the joint 6 is guided into the cover portion 3 and from the terminal pipe. Guided to the protective tube 8.
The terminal pipe 1 located on the left side of FIG. 11 is also piped in the same manner as the above pipe operation, and the terminal portion of the flowing water pipe 9B leading to the shower in the bathroom is the terminal pipe 1 and the protective pipe 8. Is sealed by.
When connecting the terminal of the flowing water pipe to the joint 6 of the header 5, the terminal pipe 1 is always kept in a contracted state without manual intervention as shown in FIG. 11, so the terminal of the flowing water pipe 9 (9 </ b> A, 9 </ b> B). Since the operator can use both hands freely when pulling upward, it is easy to work. In addition, since it is not necessary to move the terminal pipe 1 up and down, even if the work space for the piping is small, the piping work does not take time.

The terminal tube 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a cover portion 3 and a connection portion 4 formed integrally, and a locking piece 42 is integrally formed in the connection portion so that it can be bent inward and outward. Since no special connection member such as a connector for connection is required, the configuration is simplified correspondingly, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
According to the terminal pipe 1 shown in FIG. 1, since the locking piece 42 is provided in the opening 41 of the connecting portion 4, the protective tube 8 can be inserted into the opening and connected to the terminal tube only by one-touch insertion. Therefore, a simple and quick connection operation can be performed, and the efficiency of piping work can be improved.
According to the terminal tube 1 shown in FIG. 1, since the locking piece 42 is provided on the entire periphery of the edge of the opening 41, the engagement between the locking piece and the groove 81 of the protective tube 8 is strengthened.
According to the terminal tube 1 shown in FIG. 1, since the opening 41 side of the terminal tube 1 is formed in a shape (expanded shape) expanded outward, the upper end of the protective tube 8 can be smoothly inserted, In addition, when the locking piece 42 formed on the entire periphery of the edge of the opening is bent inward, the engagement piece 42 is bent together with the edge in a cross-section “L” shape, so that strong engagement is possible.
According to the terminal pipe 1 shown in FIG. 1, since the support part 31 for attaching the pipe identification display plate 7 to the cover part 3 is provided, the pipe identification display plate can be easily attached to the cover part.

The support part 31 is not necessarily provided in the cover part 3 and may be provided in the pipe body 2 of the terminal pipe 1.
Although it is desirable to provide the locking pieces 42 on the entire circumference of the opening 41 of the connecting portion 4 from the viewpoint of strengthening the connection, they may be arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction.
