Description

The present invention relates to a horn switch device and an airbag device incorporated in a vehicle steering.

A conventional horn switch device is disclosed in Patent Document 1.

The basic configuration of this type of horn switch device is as follows. That is, a pin member is erected on a boss plate at the center of the steering wheel, and a cylindrical insulator is attached to the horn plate side. Then, by inserting the pin member into the insulator, the horn plate is attached to the boss plate so as to be movable in the front-rear direction, and when the horn plate approaches the boss plate, the contact formed on both is made. It turns on and the switch turns on, and the horn sounds.

By the way, in this kind of horn switch apparatus, the clearance gap is provided between the insulator and the pin member in order to move a horn plate smoothly. For this reason, there is a possibility that the horn plate may rattle.

Therefore, in Patent Document 1, the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical insulator is formed in a cross-sectional arc shape that is convex in the axial direction thereof, so that the inner peripheral surface of the insulator and the support column portion are in point contact with each other. It is made to slide. Thereby, the clearance gap between the inner peripheral surface of an insulator and a support pillar part is made as small as possible.

Japanese Patent No. 3666281

However, the horn switch disclosed in Patent Document 1 is based on the premise that there is a gap between the inner peripheral surface of the insulator and the support pillar portion if it is relatively small. That's not true.

Then, an object of this invention is to provide the horn switch apparatus and airbag apparatus which prevented the rattling more effectively.

The present invention relates to a horn switch device assembled to a steering wheel having a plurality of spokes, and a fixing member fixed at a substantially central position of the steering wheel, and attached to the fixing member so as to be movable toward and away from the fixing member. A movable member that is brought into contact with the fixed member to turn on a switch circuit for sounding the horn by conducting with the fixed member, and a support column portion erected on one of the fixed member and the movable member A cylindrical member that is attached to the other of the fixed member and the movable member, and that can be inserted through the support column so as to be relatively movable along the axial direction thereof, and the movable member is attached in a direction away from the fixed member. An urging member that urges, and the cylindrical member surrounds the periphery of the support column part with a cylindrical main body part having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the support column part, A plurality of elastically extending pieces that are elastically deformable extending from the cylindrical main body portion toward the fixed end portion of the support column portion to the fixed member or the movable member, and the center of the support column portion The diameter of the inscribed circle of the plurality of elastic extending pieces on the surface orthogonal to the axis is substantially the same or smaller than the outer diameter of the support column portion.

In this case, the plurality of elastic extending pieces have a shape in which a cylindrical member extending from the cylindrical main body portion toward the fixed end portion side of the support pillar portion is divided into a plurality through slits. Also good.

In addition, a protrusion may be provided on at least one inner peripheral portion of the plurality of elastic extending pieces.

Further, the biasing member is a coil spring that is interposed between the fixed member and the movable member and is externally fitted to the support column portion, and the cylindrical member is between the plurality of elastic extending pieces. A spring fixing piece extending from the cylindrical main body portion toward the fixed end portion of the support pillar portion, and having a spring engaging portion that engages with one end portion of the coil spring at a tip portion; The inner peripheral portion on the distal end side of the spring fixing piece may be disposed on the radially outer side than the inscribed circle of the plurality of elastic extending pieces.

Further, the biasing member is a coil spring that is interposed between the fixed member and the movable member and is externally fitted to the support column, and the cylindrical member is between the plurality of elastic extending pieces. A spring fixing piece extending from the cylindrical main body portion toward the fixed end portion of the support pillar portion, and having a spring engaging portion that engages with one end portion of the coil spring at a tip portion; One end portion of the coil spring may be fixed to the spring fixing piece in a state in which the one end portion is disposed radially outside the circumscribed circle of the plurality of elastic extending pieces.

The other end of the coil spring may have an inner diameter that is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the support column.

Furthermore, the airbag apparatus provided with one of the above-mentioned horn switch apparatuses may be sufficient.

According to the horn switch device of the present invention, the cylindrical member includes the cylindrical main body having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the support pillar, and the cylindrical main body so as to surround the support pillar. A plurality of elastically extending elastically extending pieces extending from the portion toward the fixed end side of the supporting column portion, and each elastic extending piece on a surface orthogonal to the central axis of the supporting column portion. Since the diameter of the inscribed circle is substantially the same or smaller than the outer diameter of the support column portion, the cylindrical member is always in contact with the support column portion. For this reason, shakiness can be prevented more effectively. Moreover, since the elastic extending piece is elastically deformable, the movable member can move smoothly.

Furthermore, when the protrusion is provided on at least one inner peripheral portion of the plurality of elastic extending pieces, the elastic extending piece and the support pillar can be brought into point contact with each other by the protruding portion. Thereby, the contact aspect of the elastic extension piece and a support pillar part can be stabilized, and operativity can be made favorable.

Further, when the inner peripheral portion on the distal end side of the spring fixing piece is disposed radially outside the inscribed circle of the plurality of elastic extending pieces, the movable member moves closer to and away from the fixing member. Even if the support column is inclined, the support column is prevented from interfering with the spring fixing piece, and the movable member can be moved smoothly.

Further, when the one end portion of the coil spring is fixed to the spring fixing piece in a state where the one end portion is disposed radially outside the circumscribed circle of the plurality of elastic extending pieces, the elastic extending piece is a coil spring. Interference with one end is prevented, and the movable member can be moved smoothly.

Further, when the other end portion of the coil spring has an inner diameter substantially equal to the outer diameter of the support column portion, rattling between the other end portion of the coil spring and the support column portion can be prevented.

Hereinafter, the horn switch device according to the embodiment will be described.

The horn switch device 20 is incorporated into the steering wheel W while being mounted on the airbag device 16.

The steering wheel W is disposed in front of the vehicle driver's seat and is a member that receives a steering operation by the driver and changes the direction of the wheels. This steering wheel is a substantially annular member, and is connected to a steering boss at the end of the steering shaft via a plurality of spoke portions S.

The airbag device 16 is incorporated in a substantially central portion of the steering wheel W, and the airbag 12 (see FIG. 2) and the gas generator 14 (also referred to as an inflator, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3) are disposed inside the airbag cover 10. Reference) is provided.

The airbag cover 10 is formed of resin or the like, and is attached to a steering boss that is approximately the center of the steering wheel W via a fixed plate 30 and a movable plate 40 described later, so that the airbag cover 10 is approximately centered on the steering wheel W. Arranged. The airbag cover 10 functions as an operation plate member that receives the force of the push operation and transmits the force to a movable plate 40 described later. A plurality of spoke portions S are disposed around the airbag cover 10, and a certain gap (for example, about 0.5 mm) is formed between the spoke portions S and the airbag cover 10. Yes.

In a normal state, the airbag 12 is accommodated and disposed in the inner space of the airbag cover 10 in a folded form. At the time of impact detection at the time of a vehicle collision or the like, the gas generation device 14 is activated in response to a detection signal from an impact detection means (not shown), and the injection gas from the gas generation device 14 is introduced into the airbag 12. The airbag 12 is inflated and deployed. With this inflating and deploying force, the airbag 12 pushes the airbag cover 10 and inflates and deploys in front of the steering wheel W.

The horn switch device 20 is mounted on the steering wheel W in a state of being mounted on the airbag device 16 and includes a fixed plate 30 as a fixed member and a movable plate 40 as a movable member. .

The fixed plate 30 is a member disposed in a fixed state at a substantially central portion of the steering wheel W. More specifically, the fixing plate 30 is formed in a substantially annular member by a conductive member such as a metal plate. Then, the fixing plate 30 is attached to an attachment target member such as a steering boss at the approximate center of the steering wheel W via an attachment piece 32 formed on the outer periphery thereof, so that the fixing plate 30 is attached to the approximate center of the steering wheel W. The position is fixed.

The movable plate 40 is attached to the fixed plate 30 so as to be movable toward and away from the fixed plate 30. More specifically, the movable plate 40 is formed of a conductive member such as a metal plate, and is formed in a plate shape capable of closing the opening on the back side of the airbag cover 10, and has a substantially central portion thereof. The opening hole 42 (see FIG. 2) is formed in the structure. The movable plate 40 is attached to the fixed plate 30 so as to be movable toward and away from the fixed plate 30 via a support column 50 and a cylindrical member 60 which will be described later, and is separated from the fixed plate 30 by a coil spring 70 which will be described later. Is being energized. The movable plate 40 is integrated with the airbag cover 10 by being fixedly attached to the back side portion of the airbag cover by screwing, rivet fixing, an engagement structure, or the like. Then, it is configured to move toward and away from the fixed plate 30 in conjunction with a pushing operation on the airbag cover 10.

In addition, the said gas generator is being fixed to the peripheral part of the opening hole part 42 by screwing etc. among the movable plates 40 in the state arrange | positioned in the said opening hole part 42. FIG. The airbag 12 is housed in a space between the movable plate 40 and the airbag cover 10.

Further, the fixed plate 30 and the movable plate 40 are provided with contact portions 34 and 44 protruding in the facing direction thereof (see FIG. 3). Here, three contact portions 34 and 44 are provided at positions corresponding to the support column portions 50 and the cylindrical members 60. The switch part for sounding a horn is comprised by these contact parts 34 and 44. FIG.

That is, when the fixed plate 30 and the movable plate 40 are separated from each other, the contact portions 34 and 44 are spaced apart from each other. And in the state which moved the movable plate 40 and moved both plates 30 and 40, both contact parts 34 and 44 will be in the state which contacted and was conducted. Further, a horn switch circuit is formed via the fixed plate 30, the movable plate 40, and both contact portions 34 and 44. And when both the contact parts 34 and 44 conduct | electrically_connect, the switch circuit for sounding a horn will be in an ON state, and a horn will sound.

<Configuration of support column and cylindrical member>
The configuration of the support column portion and the cylindrical member portion will be described in more detail. In addition, in this embodiment, although the support pillar part and the cylindrical member part are provided in three places, since these are the same structures, it demonstrates focusing on one of them. 4 is an exploded perspective view showing the support column and the cylindrical member part, FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing the support column and the cylindrical member part, and FIG. 6 is a front view showing the cylindrical member, FIG. 7 is a side view showing the cylindrical member, and FIG. 8 is an enlarged view of a main part of FIG.

That is, the support column portion 50 is erected on the fixed plate 30 so as to protrude toward the movable plate 40 side. The support column part 50 is formed in a substantially rod shape with a metal or the like. A flange 52 is formed at the insertion end of the support column 50 (the end on the side inserted through the tubular member 60). Further, the fixed end portion (the end portion fixed to the fixed plate 30) of the support column portion 50 is formed in a small diameter portion having a smaller diameter than the column main body portion 51 in front thereof via the step portion 55. The portion is formed in a screw portion 54 to which the screwing member 58 can be screwed.

Then, in the state where the screw part 54 is inserted from the movable plate 40 side into the fixed hole 38 formed in the fixed plate 30, the screwing member 58 is screwed and fastened to the screw part 54. The peripheral edge portion of the fixing hole 38 of the fixing plate 30 is sandwiched between 55 and the screw portion 54. Thereby, the support column part 50 is fixed to the fixed plate 30 in a standing manner.

Further, a cylindrical member fixing hole 48 is formed in the movable plate 40, and the cylindrical member 60 is attached to a portion where the cylindrical member fixing hole 48 is formed.

The cylindrical member 60 is formed of an insulating member such as a resin, and electrically insulates the support column 50 and the movable plate 40 in a state where the fixed plate 30 and the movable plate 40 are separated from each other.

The cylindrical member 60 is formed into a cylindrical member that can be inserted through the support column 50 so as to be relatively movable along the axial direction thereof. Then, with the insertion end portion of the support column 50 inserted into the cylindrical member 60, the flange 52 of the support column 50 abuts on one end of the cylindrical member 60, thereby supporting column Prevents the cylindrical member 60 from coming off.

Thus, the movable plate 40 is attached so as to be movable toward and away from the fixed plate 30 within a predetermined distance.

A coil spring 70 is provided as a biasing member that biases the movable plate 40 in a direction away from the fixed plate 30. The coil spring 70 has a large-diameter coil portion 72 on one end side, and a small-diameter coil portion 74 having a smaller diameter than the large-diameter coil portion 72 on the other end side. The large diameter coil portion 72 has a diameter that can be fitted onto the cylindrical member 60, and at least a part of the small diameter coil portion 74 has an inner diameter that is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the column main body portion 51 of the support column portion 50. have. The large-diameter coil portion 72 is externally fitted to the cylindrical member 60 at the movable plate 40 side portion of the support column portion 50, and the small-diameter coil portion 74 is externally fitted to the fixed plate 30 side portion of the support column portion 50. The compression plate is disposed between the fixed plate 30 and the movable plate 40 (see FIG. 5). As a result, the movable plate 40 is biased in a direction away from the fixed plate 30. As the urging member, various spring structures such as a leaf spring and elastic means such as rubber can be used in addition to the coil spring 70.

The cylindrical member 60 will be described in more detail. The cylindrical member 60 has a cylindrical main body 62, a plurality of elastic extending pieces 64, and a spring fixing piece 66.

The cylindrical main body portion 62 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape, and the inner diameter thereof is larger than the outer diameter of the column main body portion 51 of the support column portion 50. Accordingly, a gap is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 60 and the outer peripheral surface of the support column portion 50 in the cylindrical main body portion 62, and the support column portion 50 is inclined in the cylindrical main body portion 62. It has become.

Each elastic extending piece 64 is formed so as to extend from one end of the cylindrical main body 62 toward the fixed end (fixed plate 30 side) of the support column so as to surround the support column 50. ing. The diameter r1 (see FIG. 8) of the inscribed circle C1 (see FIGS. 6 and 8) of each elastic extending piece 64 on the surface orthogonal to the central axis of the support column 50 is the outer diameter r2 of the support column 50. (Refer to FIG. 5) It is set to be substantially the same or smaller (Note that the scale ratio is different between FIG. 5 and FIG. 8, and r1 and r2 are attached to indicate each target part) Sign). Accordingly, at least a part of each elastic extending piece 64 is brought into contact with the support column 50 in a normal state. Even when the support column part 50 is inclined due to the inclination of the movable plate 40, at least a part of the elastic extension piece 64 is brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the support column part 50 while being elastically deformed.

More specifically, each elastic extending piece 64 includes a cylindrical member extending from one end of the cylindrical main body 62 toward the fixed end side (fixed plate 30 side) of the support column portion, and slits 64S. The shape is divided into a plurality of parts.

Further, a protrusion 65 is formed on the inner peripheral portion of each elastic extending piece 64 so as to protrude inwardly. Here, substantially semi-spherical protrusions 65 are formed on the inner peripheral portions at both ends in the circumferential direction of the arc-shaped tip of each elastic extending piece 64. In the present embodiment, the radius r1 of the inscribed circle C1 of each protrusion 65 is set to be substantially the same or smaller than the outer diameter r2 of the support column 50. Thus, in a normal state, all the protrusions 65 are in point contact with the outer peripheral surface of the support column 50, and even when the movable plate 40 is inclined and the support column 50 is inclined, at least one protrusion 65 is supported. Point contact is made with the outer peripheral surface of the column 50.

Here, each elastic extending piece 64 has a shape that is slightly reduced in diameter toward the distal end side (fixed plate 30 side) of the support column portion, and the protrusion 65 formed at the distal end portion is more It is made to contact | abut to the outer peripheral surface of the support pillar part 50 reliably.

The elastic extending piece 64 is not limited to the above configuration. For example, a pin shape extending from one end of the cylindrical main body 62 may be used. Further, the protrusion 65 does not necessarily have to be formed at the above position, and may be formed at a portion in front of the central portion in the width direction and the tip portion of each elastic extending piece 64. Further, the protrusion 65 may be formed on at least one elastic extending piece 64.

Each spring fixing piece 66 is formed as a prismatic piece-like member that extends from the cylindrical main body 62 toward the fixed end side (fixing plate 30 side) of the support column 50 between the elastic extending pieces 64. A spring engaging portion 67 that engages with the end portion of the coil spring 70 on the large-diameter coil portion 72 side is formed at the tip end portion of each spring fixing piece 66. The spring engaging portion 67 is configured such that the outer peripheral portion of the distal end portion of each spring fixing piece 66 is recessed via a stepped portion 67a, and a protrusion 67b is further formed at the distal end portion.

Then, the end of the coil spring 70 on the large-diameter coil portion 72 side is disposed between the stepped portion 67a and the protruding portion 67b at the outer peripheral position of the distal end portion of each elastic extending piece 64, and the spring engagement. The engagement portion 67 is engaged and held.

Here, the inner diameter of the end of the large-diameter coil portion 72 of the coil spring 70 is determined from the circumscribed circle C2 (see FIGS. 6 and 8) of each elastic extending piece 64 on the surface orthogonal to the central axis of the support column portion 50. Therefore, the end portion of the large-diameter coil portion 72 is arranged on the radially outer side of the circumscribed circle C2. Thereby, even when each elastic extending piece 64 is elastically deformed outward due to the inclination of the support column portion 50, interference between the outer peripheral portion of the elastic extending piece 64 and the inner peripheral portion of the end of the large-diameter coil portion 72 is prevented. It has come to be.

Further, the inner peripheral portion on the front end side of each spring fixing piece 66 is recessed via a step portion 66a (see FIG. 5), and the inner peripheral portion on the front end side is an inscribed circle C1 of each elastic extending piece 64. It is arrange | positioned rather than radial direction outside (refer FIG.6 and FIG.8). As a result, the outer peripheral surface of the support column 50 is unlikely to interfere with the inner peripheral portion on the tip end side of each spring fixing piece 66 in the normal state or in a state where the support column 50 is inclined in the cylindrical main body 62. Yes.

A flange 63 is formed on the other end of the cylindrical main body 62. A recess 63 a is formed between the flange 63 and the base end of the spring fixing piece 66 so that the peripheral edge of the cylindrical member fixing hole 48 of the movable plate 40 can be clamped. Further, the cylindrical member fixing hole 48 of the movable plate 40 is formed in a hole shape through which a portion excluding the flange portion 52 of the cylindrical main body portion 62 can be inserted. Then, the cylindrical member 60 is inserted into the cylindrical member fixing hole 48 from the airbag cover 10 side, and the cylindrical member fixing hole 48 peripheral portion of the movable plate 40 is disposed in the recess 63a. When 60 is rotated, the peripheral edge of the cylindrical member fixing hole 48 of the movable plate 40 is sandwiched between the flange 52 and the base end of each spring fixing piece 66. Thereby, the cylindrical member 60 is attached and fixed to the movable plate 40.

The operation of the horn switch device configured as described above will be described. First, in the normal state, the entire movable plate 40 is urged by the coil spring 70 in a direction away from the fixed plate 30. Accordingly, the movable plate 40 is disposed in a substantially parallel posture with respect to the fixed plate 30, and the support column portion 50 is also disposed along the central axis of the tubular member 60 (see FIG. 5). ). In this state, all the protrusions 65 of each elastic extending piece 64 are in point contact with the outer peripheral surface of the support column 50. Therefore, the gap between the cylindrical member 60 and the support column 50 can be eliminated in a normal state including the state immediately after assembly, and rattling between the two can be prevented.

Further, when the airbag cover 10 is pushed and operated to ring the horn, the movable plate 40 approaches the fixed plate 30 against the urging force of the coil spring 70. Thus, the horn is formed when the switch unit is turned on.

At this time, if the push operation position is deviated from the center of the airbag cover 10, the movable plate 40 assumes a substantially oblique posture with respect to the fixed plate 30. Then, the support column part 50 becomes the attitude | position arrange | positioned along diagonally with respect to the central axis of the cylindrical member 60 (refer FIG. 9).

In this state, at least one of the elastic extending pieces 64 is elastically deformed outward so that the protrusion 65 abuts on the outer peripheral surface of the support column 50 and the other end of the inner peripheral portion of the cylindrical member 60. The part also comes into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the support column part 50. Therefore, even when the support column part 50 is inclined as described above, the gap between the tubular member 60 and the support column part 50 can be eliminated, and rattling between the two can be prevented.

According to the horn switch device configured as described above, the diameter r1 of the inscribed circle C1 of each elastic extending piece 64 on the surface orthogonal to the central axis of the support column 50 is the column main body portion of the support column 50. Since the outer diameter r <b> 2 of 51 is substantially the same or smaller, the tubular member 60 is always in contact with the support column 50. For this reason, shakiness between the two can be more effectively prevented. Moreover, since the elastic extending piece 64 is elastically deformable, the movable plate 40 can move smoothly, and it is difficult to hinder the smoothness of the pushing operation.

In addition, since the protrusion 65 is provided on at least one inner peripheral portion of each elastic extension piece 64, the elastic extension piece 64 and the support pillar 50 are brought into point contact with the protrusion 65. Can do. Thereby, the contact aspect of the elastic extension piece 64 and the support pillar part 50 can be stabilized, and operativity can be made favorable.

Further, since the inner peripheral portion on the tip side of each spring fixing piece 66 is disposed radially outside the inscribed circle C1 of each elastic extending piece 64, the movable plate 40 approaches and is separated from the fixed plate 30. Even if the support column part 50 is inclined during the movement, the support column part 50 is prevented from interfering with the spring fixing piece 66.

In addition, since the end of the large-diameter coil portion 72 of the coil spring 70 is fixed to each spring fixing piece 66 in a state of being arranged radially outside the circumscribed circle C2 of each elastic extending piece, Thus, even if the support column portion 50 is inclined and the elastic extension piece 64 is elastically deformed outward, the elastic extension piece 64 is prevented from interfering with the end portion of the coil spring 70, and the movable plate 40 is smoothly moved. Can be moved.

Furthermore, since the end portion of the coil spring 70 on the small diameter coil portion 74 side has substantially the same inner diameter as the outer diameter of the support column portion 50, it is possible to prevent rattling between the end portion of the coil spring 70 and the support column portion 50. Can do.

In addition, since the horn switch device basically eliminates the gap between the support column 50 and the cylindrical member 60, there is also an advantage that it is possible to eliminate manufacturing variations and prevent rattling. . In addition, since wear and the like are effectively prevented by preventing rattling, there is an advantage that durability is improved.

In addition to the support structure portion formed by the support column portion 50 and the cylindrical member 60, other support means for supporting the movable plate 40 so as to be movable toward and away from the fixed plate 30 may be provided.

Further, in the present embodiment, the example in which the support column portion 50 is erected on the fixed plate 30 and the cylindrical member 60 is provided on the movable plate 40 has been described, but conversely, the support column is provided on the movable plate 40. The configuration may be such that the portion 50 is erected and the cylindrical member 60 is provided on the fixed plate 30.
